there are collectors that can afford it.
I'd fancy myself a pretty good collector... But there are things that even I won't collect. Maybe for the silver content alone - LOL. I guess, to each their own.

Maybe when I get moved to an area that has more room for that kind of display, then maybe... But for now, I think I'll be alright.

Speaking of being alright, I just went through and packed up all of my legacy equipment for the final time. Now when I say "legacy", I mean stuff that I used religiously for years on end until just now. I didn't realize just how much I had until recently...

I cracked open my box and was blown away by the sheer amount of shit I've gathered over the years. Granted, some of it's still operational and some of it... Mehhhh. Needs a few parts here and there.

Take my ZATTYU for instance, I bought it to replace my original ZATTY-PRO and the fucking insulator and center pin fell out of it.

That further set me away from a lot of legacy items. As much of a treat it is to say I have one, it shows me we've come a very long way from the days of old.

Oh yeah all the stuff that I put away I flush it, strip all the coils out of it, that includes cotton and juice, Wash it with soap and water (attys), sterilize it with alcohol (attys and mods), polish them (mods), dry it, put it back together empty to include no batteries, Lube gaskets with petroleum jelly, and box it up with a bunch of absorbent packs.

When they're ready to use again, I pull them out, dust them off, flushing with clean water, Wash them again with soap and sanitize them again with alcohol, lube the o-rings put a coil in some continentum and let him go.

no real reason not to wash dry and recheck it after I've already washed dried it and checked it the first time but I do it anyway. Obviously removing the batteries from the device is a given, since I don't have any mods with integrated batteries or internal batteries I don't have to worry about those.

Nice mod and all but yeah, that drip tip, pink. Is the glass pink or a very light purple? Looks like a pink tinge to it in the picture but maybe just how I'm seeing it. I could live with the glass but not the tip.

And here it is...

It had me a bit confused for a moment. I think the button needed to be worked out a little bit because at first it sounded like something was arcing off in there, but then I took a flashlight and shined it down inside to the body I didn't see any arc spots, And I didn't notice any damage to the copper cup. So I'm thinking there may have been a little bit of residue left on my switch it was causing that crunchy sound.

But it hits and it hits like a champ. It's hard to tell but the color is like a metallic bluish green. Kind of neat I like it and it's heavy as hell

Got my 'unicorn' in today...a spare Tobeco Haze RDTA. =)

It's still one of my fave atties. I'd always thought "oh I'll get a spare one of these days"...then they were gone.
FT and most other sites don't have them anymore and the sites that do want like $20-30. Bleh.

Got this from KanVape for about $13 shipped..

So now, I have the old SS one I bought from FT years ago, and a brand new black one...with spare parts.
Happy Happy. :bliss:

Got my third Vaporesso Luxe kit in the mail today, plus a abalone-pattern skin for the latest iJoy Avenger. The place I got the skin, itsaskin.com, doesn't do quite as precise a cutting job as Vaporskinz and jwraps, but I can live with it. White is peeking through in a few places, and no way to make it better than it is.

Did the dumbest thing a while ago. I was getting ready to put the skin on the Avenger. It had my Engine Nano on it, which I had just refilled earlier today with Chocolate Buttercream. Not watching what I was doing, I unscrewed the tank and went to sit it on the table beside me, when I saw that there was juice on my hand, and then, of course, juice on the table where I was about to set it. Looked down, and I had unscrewed the top of the RTA from the damn base. Now I need to refill it again. Jeez.

Suddenly I was glad that it was a Nano and not some great big tank - I'd have had a terrible mess.

What a day.

TOO FUNNY!...I mean not! :teehee: Ohhh. Chocolate Buttercream?! :inlove:

Where are you all getting the Luxe Kits? You'll be using the SKRR tank, too? There's got be some kind of deal going on. I'm sorely lacking mods (despite the ones I have for sale). I'm looking all around for good ones on the cheap. And what's with the Avenger?

I got this kit for about $35 from StrikesUSA. There was a code, think it was STRIKESUSA10OFF. Got my second one from the Hardware thread, and the first one was the mod only and it also came from Strikes.

The Avenger, my second, came from Wetvapes. It's a helluva deal, mod plus two 20700 batteries for $19.99, and free shipping if you spend over $30. But I didn't like the fact that the Matte Black I ordered wasn't all black, it's black and has white bars on either side. So I put a skin on it.

There's no comparison between those two mods, though. The Luxe is a much better-quality mod. The Avenger is ok, but buttons on the front are wiggly and plastic feeling. It does temp control well, but there's an outline of a race car on the screen and it bugs me. So it's ok but definitely not my favorite. The Luxe is just a damn nice piece of gear.

And yes, I suppose I'll use the SKRR tank at least enough to see if I like it enough to spend the money on the coils. I'll have to like it quite a lot, though. Speaking of which, I haven't opened that box yet, and it's time, so....later! :)

I just watched a video on the EZ Dripper. Amazing. Got yours mounted in the car?

Got this today. It's a really good vape, but it's big and heavy. Much more so than I'd thought it would be. Takes an 18650. Not going to be good for a stealth vape. Supposedly there is an RBA for it, but like the GV Aegis Boost it's "coming soon". The RBA for the boost has been coming soon for 6 months.

The Vinci Rba is available also. Element has them, just search for the Voopoo PNP RBA.

Where? I've not been able to find one. IF I could get one I'd buy another boost. I really did like it.
They hook ya up pretty good btw. A large and small bore standard 510 drip tip, a few pieces of shoelace cotton, 4 coils (2 each of .6 Ni80 fused claptons and 1.2 Ka1 micros) and the obligatory spares and T tool.
