If nobody has one, there is a place in Canada that has the sxk ones, shipping is crazy high though, makes the switch like $30 or so after shipping.Another option, that was found by someone a while back is these flat membrane switches, they are dirt cheap and come from China, but the guy that used it said they work perfectly.
I cant get the link to work,so just search
1 pcs Mini Innovative Single Key Membrane Switch Keyboard MCU Extended Keypad
On Ebay and it should bring them up.

I have some of the ones from Ebay, and know that some guys have gotten them to work, but I haven't gotten around to figuring out how to get the connections to work. There are no wires on the Ebay switches. They have this thin foil inside a plastic membrane.

There are a couple other "acquaintances" I have made over there. Shenzen has a completely different business model than we do. You may not necessarily have to work for SXK in order to get your hands on their parts. I should have thought of this before. I sent messages to a couple people asking if they maybe could dig some up. Worth a shot.

This one young lady you'd never know she was Chinese messaging back and forth. Her English is excellent. She tells me she can't speak it that well though haha!

Yes same one. I think I have 2 or 3 new ones and a black dna60 sxk bb shell (no board) if you need it.

If you have more than one, I would be VERY interested in buying one too if you don't need them.

is that the piece that makes the connection ?
The little circle in the center. The thin metal circle that makes the connection when pressed. That's missing in the one I have.

ok. where is the connection made ? = between the 4 dots. or the 4 dots to the 2 rectangle things ?

my point, would a metal button work ? but, now that i think about it, idk if a metal button touching the mod body would cause issues ? maybe the coating would prevent that ?

The part you're looking for is a low profile momentary tactile switch similar to the one above. The yellow backing material is proprietary and most likely can't be bough separately unless you get the whole thing from sxk, evolv(if available), or billet box vapor. Measure the dimensions of the tactile switch itself (the little square), and find one on the above site or one similar like digikey.com. Remove the old switch gently from the existing backing material with a pair of tweezers and then superglue or epoxy the new one in place. Then resolder to the board and rock on! :)

If need be you could fabricate a new backer as well from any non-conductive, durable material of the right thickness. Doesn't have to be perfect as long as it stays in place. The button and button plate will hide it.

There are tons of brass, titanium, and SS buttons out there,no issues.

However unlikely the scenario may be Jinx'd, you are correct in assuming that if a metal button made contact with the conductive part of the switch, there would be a short. The yellow material on top of the switch and behind it are there to prevent just such a thing.

i'm talking about the button itself closing the circuit.
Ah ok,i didn't even think of the switch part being metal, which makes sense then,i always wondered why they put the switch on that yellow backer,so thats probably why,hey i learned something new today haha.

Actually, looking at the listed dimensions and voltages, that one linked above may be spot on for what you need.
I have numerous switches, including a BBV authentic. What I don't have is a way to do the micro soldering. The SXK switch, which I can't get, has standard insulated metal wires, which I would be able to splice into the existing wires. I got this one from BBV directly. I can't solder that.

That's easy to solder a wire to. Just Flux it and load the iron with solder and just touch the copper. The add the tinned wire. It will solder together in a second. The sx are the same. They don't come with wires. You have to solder it. If your not able to just send it to me a I'll solder the wires for you.

they sell both on BBV for like $30 I think... just have to email them about wanting to have your account flagged to see the parts section...
