Just an update....

Carrying the katana lasted about an hour yesterday until I went to the office and grabbed my swag. I still like the katana and the form factor but it won't replace my swag and just that factor in combination of the feedback on the obs cube x, I don't think I'll pick up a cube x. For a pocket setup, the kayfun on the swag is just...right, I guess. Also, I thought I'd dethroned my kayfun with the serpent mini but that has proven untrue. I've carried the kayfun on the swag in my pocket without even thinking about it for most of the week. That's fine. I like the setup and it works great. I like the serpent mini too and have it on one of the katanas at the moment and have been using it a lot after mowing today but it's just not a good pocket rig for me.

Also, after enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch this morning and hauling off our trash for the week, I went ahead and mowed. I've come to the realization I'm going to have to purchase a new mower this year because my old riding mower is on it's last legs. It runs great so I may use it for a backup but it is absolutely falling apart. Point of fact, last year I had to weld up new steering for it because of bending and buckling through years of abuse and now part of the deck quite literally broke in half. I think I've reached the point of being done patching it together so I put a bungee on it to the body of the mower to hold it up and kept on mowing. I've used it on my last 2 properties as my father pulled it out from under someone's pool deck 6 years ago and got it running to give me as a gift when I bought my first house. That's a heck of a gift when you're just starting out with home ownership. I feel like it's paid for itself considering it was initially free and I've got maybe $2-300 in repairs over the years...especially since at my first place, the yard was 2.5 acres, the next was an acre, and I currently use it to finish cut roughly 3 acres around the house at our farm. I think the wife and I are going to keep an eye out for a used commercial zero turn. I had a thought of just picking up a finish cutter for our tractor, but with the lay of the land, it just wouldn't work well. I didn't want to spend money on a mower right now, but I suppose it is what it is.
Zero turns are not so good on hills.

Zero turns are not so good on hills.

Fortunately, it's not really hills that are of issue. It's just the way certain things are laid out breaking up the yard. It's quite similar to where I work and when I give the guys a hand there, I generally hop on an ExMark zero turn which seems to ride and mow nicely and cuts exponentially faster than my old mower by a large margin. I dunno. We'll see. We're keeping our options open.

Just vaped today - oh, I did put the spare VG into storage LMAO

Did a little tobacco project work, which is vape related

I should do some weed whacking - but likely will not get to it

Still clearing weird junk out of an area I'd like to turn into a sweet potato patch

Recycled some Sanyo UR18650RX batteries from a battery pack I found in the hopper at work. I tested each one on my Asmodus Battery Analyzer and they all tested at 20A or higher, 4.1-4.2V, and 1850-1900mah. Tomorrow I will rewrap them and mark them for "regulated mods" only, just to be safe. I used a super fine sanding disc on my rotary tool to smooth down the solder points.

I almost bought a mod and tank but I held back. I don’t need the mod, really. And I re-thought my diy recipe since it came out a bit strange this time. Not bad, just not sweet creamy mint.

So I vaped a lot, otherwise. Stay safe everyone.

How do you store your vg/pg? I just keep mine in a closet until needing to refill my diy bottles

I keep mine in the coolest part of the house, down in the basement. I get it in one gallon jugs. Each one of those is a in plastic bag, like NicRiv does. Then all the gallons are in storage bins. I try to keep 4 per bin. When I'm down to the last 4 (or tapping into a new bin), I order more VG. I like to wait for a sale code, but sometimes just order more. I know you didn't ask me but that's how I do it. I mix for three people so I keep a lot of stock. It still lasts a long time.

I have to keep mine in the shipping container in the yard - this is the first time I have felt compelled to buy ahead on VG

In my Amazon order history, I have historically purchased a gallon every nine months and have never run out

Started cleaning up my corona mail, I mean my first FT shipment. Already wiped stuff with clorox wipes when I took it out of the package in the mailbox. Wiped everything off again with clorox wipes. Took everything out of the packages, out of the boxes, took the atomizers apart, the spare glass, parts bags etc. Washed with soap and water, rinsed, put into a gallon ziplock bag with a healthy bleach solution. Soaked and agitated for 20min. So far so good, don't see any discoloration of the ultem parts from the expromizer v4. Rinsed the bleach off under running water, transferred to a new clean gallon bag and it's soaking in vodka.

At first I was feeling better about it, suggestions that soap and water wash it away, bleach kills it.. Then I read Joe Diffie died today at age 61 from the coronas. Looking at my baggie of vapemail.. and washy washy washy.. and washy washy washy.. Not sure how many are country music fans, he was pretty well known in the 90's. Sad loss.

We had a few limbs down from the storms last night so I took care of cutting all that up and loading it on the trailer to haul to the back of the property tomorrow once things dry out a bit. I had planned on working on cleaning out the flower beds and getting them ready for fresh mulch and seasonal flowers afterward but it was so nice outside, I decided to just sit on the front porch for a beer or 2 and puff for a bit while the wife went to town for groceries. :)

We had a cold front move through that brought temps down to 68F and mostly sunny. They were running between 80-85 and extremely humid for the last 3 days which is unseasonably warm for us. We're normally between 70-75 this time of year.

I just ordered one of these. Was going to get a cheap beater but its price went up, and so I was browsing, and then lost control.
I think I'll wait till it arrives to tell the misses, that should give me a week to come up with a good plausible excuse. :D

Most of my excuses are met with "Do you really think im that stupid?"
I learnt quickly not to answer that question.

Yeah, think you are right. I was thinking of getting one of them not long back until I ended up with an Aegis X. But not long after that the misses decided she really liked it and it was no longer mine. She aint getting this one.

who pays the bills ?
Both really.
She loves vaping but apart from falling in love with the Aegis X and taking ownership of it she has zero shinyitus gear wise. If it delivers her vape and nic hit then thats all that matters. She doesn't get the fascination with tanks I have and has been using a Scion 2 for what feels like 2 years now. That and a little Crios tank she uses out and about on a RX80 mini. Before the X she was using a Drag Mini that looks like its years older than it is, paint falling off it all over, cant get it out of curve mode but she didn't care at all.
Me, I like something new or different now and then.
New vape gear, her :wait:

Aegis X is an awesome, awesome mod. The more I use mine, the better I like it. I have to admit to myself that the Legend really is too bulky for me, although it's been a great mod and is an absolute workhorse. The X is just so much more comfortable to hold and use. So I agree with your missus! Although I have to admit, I'd put a Zeus sub-ohm tank on there....if I wasn't into rebuildables.... :)

I made the mistake in watching Youtube reviews. There's a single coil RTA most are raving about. It's the Hellvape Destiny. Supposed to have very good flavor. I just spend about a hundo yesterday but spent a bit more today.

I also selected a Blue Ijoy Avenger mod. I didn't know it had red accents. That's my jam, Red and Blue. I love Blue tanks with red rings and red tanks with blue o rings.

The covid code is still working at wet vapes.

I also read on Reddit rhat the PMTA or whatever deadline has been extended three months! The new date is supposedly 9/9/20. The virus being the reason.

Edit- I forgot to mention holy crap those Youtube guys dry burn TF out of their coils. Vic pulsed the crap out his single coil around 40W. Mike's poor coil was BLACK before he even used it. Do you guys do this too? I sure dont.

I use SS 316l and only pulse a new coil enough to get a dull red glow and burn off any impurities.

I dry burn mine, but since I vape at 10w, I usually dry burn at 9w. No, they're black when i start, and more or less metallic looking when I finish, rewick and refill.

Do you have one of the red and blue Armour Pro mods? Do you like small mods? 2x700? If so, you'd like the Armour Pro. I'm kinda crazy about mine, but it's green, but then, green is my thing, so...

Yeah, my N80 coils are pretty much black by the time I put everything together. SS, though, no.

That Avenger can actually do temp control. Don't know if you're into it or not, but just fyi.

I was recently looking at Destiny, a few times like I do anything I'm interested in. I opted for One RTA.
Also excellent flavor reviews, honeycomg AF has been good to me, and was looking for a color I don't have - gold. Cost was considerably less but I have a wait. I can see myself getting Destiny. Really want a GT IV.
I don't dry fire as much as we see some reviewers.

I also have a Puxos. Didn't like it when I first got it, but over time it's kinda grown on me. I got a different set of panels for it, and as silly as that sounds, I just like it better with these new panels. Obviously has nothing to do with function. :)

It's a little smaller and easier to hold, but is also considerably lighter, and also has a knockout color screen. I like the X a lot.

My most used single is an Inokkin Oceanus 20700. Simple easy run all day mod. Can't fault it. Dont know why Inokkin didn't make an upgraded replacement. Have an Aegis Solo but its limited a lot by being just an 18650. Wish Geek had made it 21700 or 20700 even with an 18650 sleeve. Beautiful little mod the Solo but let down by the 18650.
Love Oceanus.

Hi, whats Deeming for you guys there?
The deeming regs if they happen as planned is pretty much the end of vaping in the uS.
All vape products, mods, atomizers, juice, coils, etc not on the US market prior to February 2007 must get FDA approval to be sold in or imported into the USA. to date none are approved. And getting approval is neither cheap nor easy.
Enforcement is scheduled to start on May 12, although I saw a post about it being delayed until September? Due to the virus.
It gets more complicated but that is it in a nutshell.

I’m sorry I didn’t get one! I know Amber loves hers, though. I’m charging two batteries now to try in a Minikin that I got on sale months ago. It’s pretty light, but already it’s a fingerprint magnet. But it matches a blue Fire Luke Mesh tank I have perfectly. Hopefully the battery life will be worth it. The Legend wasn’t stellar for me with battery life considering it’s dual cell.

Thanks, told you my google Fu was not so good :)

I expect that the extension request will be granted due to what is going on.
But the US vape industry is likely to be pretty much hammered into the ground then by efforts to slow the spread of the virus anyway.

But yeah take what we can get at this point.
At least if granted suppliers may order vape stuff we can buy before Sept.
