Reuleaux RX Gen3 dual half dead

Hi!
I have a huge problem with my Gen3 dual. It started some days ago when i saw the little battery icons changed to the little charging icon on the screen, but the mod was not connected to any power source. Overnight, the mod "died", and I cannot turn it on.

I checked the batteries and they are in good conditions.
When trying to debug the device I connected it to my PC and it recognized it, so I flashed Arctic fox firmware to it and started monitoring the device.

The motherboard seems alright, but the battery voltage is off. It measures around 4.6 - 5.2 volts instead of 7 - 8.
Sometimes it turns on for a few seconds if I insert the batteries to alert me to check the batteries and turns off again.

Anyone had this problem? Is there any solution?

On the battery door, next to the hinge and battery contacts, there are two tiny screws. Carefully tighten them and don't overtighten.

I tried this already, also cleared all the contacts and measured voltage, every measurment is the same as on a working mod. (One of my friends has the same mod)

I had this happen on my rx 2/3 the wire on the battery sled inside the mod started to wear had to open it up trim the wire back and solder the new connection. Fixed it for me. Hope this helps.

The battery connectors are directly soldered to the motherboard on this mod.

I take it you already checked the solder job on those connections then... and you've probably already tried a few different sets of batteries as well. How do the terminal connectors for the batteries look?

These are the connectors in the mod. The soldering seems a bit messy but it's fully and nicely connected to the motherboard. Also, the board and the connectors got cleaned, but it was not helpful. (the brownish stain around the terminal is the reflection caused by the flash)

The terminal on the right looks a bit farther out. Could just be the angle on the photo but you could try bending them in slightly for a snug connection. Everything looks good there otherwise so it may be a board problem.

Sorry for the weird perspective, they are aligned. I tried to tinker with the connection, gained only +0.2 volts, so this could really be a board problem... That's sad. Anyways, thanks for helping, appreciate it!

The battery connectors have 2 connections each. One is soldered, one is crimped. Solder the crimped connections.

Did not check if the crimped one is connected, just soldered it, but the problem still persists.
Was worth a shot. Hope you get it sorted. Had a similar problem with a different mod. Took it apart, everything looked good, put it back together and it magically worked fine. Crazy stuff.
