Hi everyone, does anyone know a close recipe or even the actual recipe for the following eliquids gracies custard and strawberry pie shake by pie shake vape? Some people didn’t like the strawberry pie shake but I actually really liked it and ever since doing diy I always wanted to try make this or something close maybe something even better and every custard I bought so far taste nothing like gracies custard I can’t seem to find anything like it what so ever any help would be appreciated

Wish I could help but not familiar with those flavors. My best suggestion is try with a 10-15 ML Tester and experiment. Maybe some of the other DIY Chefs will be able to help like @wildgypsy70 or @Smoky Blue ? Good Luck~!

Howdy! I’m not familiar with either of those liquids. Any insight about what you taste?

There are plenty of custard recipes out there.....so, so many. It would depend on what you want in a custard. Creamy? Strong/light vanilla? Eggy? Caramel(like a creme brûlée)?

I’m confident that I could come up with something, but it probably won’t be exactly like what you’re looking for. Clones are challenging, to say the least!

To be honest I haven’t vaped either for a few years since I started diy so not bought eliquid for quite some time however i think I will buy it just to see if I can find what I think is in it well the strawberry I can’t remember but I can tell you now the vanilla was like vanilla swirl not a bean ice cream and the pie crust just taste like inawera biscuit or some sort of biscuit to me from what I can remember

as for the Gracie custard I really can’t even describe it because before I started diy most custards here in the uk taste the same or similar so again I think I should probably buy these liquids just to see if I can get anything from them

IMHO if you want to clone something you need to have it to compare to. Honestly you can't go by what you think it tasted like you need to have a real knowledge of it. Good Luck~!

Thanks for your input @wildgypsy70

this is exactly right...

I can say what the description is for the strawberry pie milkshake... but I mix with one flavor company and I havent a clue as to what you have tried..

perhaps post up what you have done.. def have the juice you are cloning to compare.
Even realize you might come close, but a clone or a copy is just that and will never be an exact.

Strawberry Pie Milkshake:

What is a pie shake? Imagine grandma just pulled a freshly baked strawberry pie out of the oven. Steam rising from the glazed strawberries picked fresh from her garden, nestled in a bed of heavenly golden brown pie crust. Well we’ve taken that slice of heaven, thrown it in the blender with the richest and creamiest vanilla bean ice-cream, and voila! A pie shake you can vape!

------

As far as your gracies custard .. I am sorry I don't have the time to do a deep search and what little I see, is nothing named that name.. :(

You might take a look at this recipe as a possibility for your custard replacement:

http://tjek.nu/r/tYdW

There was some discussion over in the Daily Mixing Thread about the Molinberry Legendary Custard being very similar to an English tinned custard - perhaps that is more what you have in mind instead of the Capella custard. Said discussion also indicated that this is a very good custard recipe - the mixer who developed it is very experienced and well regarded.

I haven't mixed this, and am not familiar with Gracie's custard, but it's something for you to consider.
