They've been tough to find lately, and rarely if ever on sale, but it looks like some new stock is about to hit the Vaperz Cloud site. The red 25mm shows both "in stock" and "coming soon" but it looks like they may be back on the market soon.

Something has been telling me that the Asgard will be a keeper. Don't know why. Do you like yours? Guess you must, if you're recommending it.

Dumb question, sorry. Still would like to hear what you have to say about it.

Yeah, I kinda like 'em. I've got 3 minis (25mm) and 1 30mm. I probably use them as much as the Kali V2. They're primarily a dual coil; you could build one as a single but never tried it. They have top airflow, highly adjustable. It has an innovative squonk pin; the built in 510 is a squonk pin and you can plug it using one of two grub screws stored in the bottom of the deck so you never have to go digging the box out to change. They have one of the lowest voltage drops of the RDAs @~Don~ or I have tested. But the best part for me is the flavor.

I wish they made a 24 though if a good enough deal presents itself, I want a mini. Or I have 2 mint condition authentic SS Goon 1.5s, one of which I would be willing to trade.

I like the Asgard, for the reasons Marter lists... but it does has some faults as any RDA has.

To me the faults are minor and easily addressed.

Needs a taller drip tip... the two provided are short... and the position of the coils screams taller (caveat coming) plus how the conical is done on them, there is always a puddle on the inner side of the drip tip, as you can see with Marters pic.

And if you run hotter builds, it will condensate a little at the AF... gives it a wet look if that makes sense. Could be totally just me, San Diego weather...ambient temps.

Caveat time: I normally will run anything that is .10-.13Ω, that is borderline uncomfortable with how the coil placement is... even running the coils only .5mm off the deck... running 3mm coils or larger will be a hot potato of a vape... so I run 2.5mm and slightly higher than I normally like .14Ω and it pretty much eliminates the hot, just choke the AF a little to get the right ratio and draw.

If you drip on this RDA... you can over saturate and get nothing but hot slurry of juice in your pie hole lol... just have to be more aware than some other deep well RDAs

I was fortunate that Marter had a spare he was willing to let go... and I do truly enjoy it.

On a regulated I bet this thing works a treat... you can just dial in a wattage you enjoy with any coil. Probably really nice on a squonker

Now if they made a brushed Stainless version... I'd grab one... that polished version to me... meh.

I've never seen a sale on them and really don't expect to. They do show up on the used market once in a while, and may be more prevalent once VC satisfies the current demand.

Edit: For that matter, I'm not aware of a clone either.

@~Don~ makes some good points. And he's right about the little bit of juice on my tips in the pic. Doesn't bother me but it's there. I don't get much if any condensation at the air flow though. But I don't live near the ocean either.

I use the taller of the provided tips, and like them. I usually run anywhere from 0.10 to 0.12 for the pair (2x26g36g Ni90 with a mass of 3.20mg/coil) with 3mm diameter, 7mm legs and I don't feel that much heat. As the pic shows, most of my usage is on squonker with single 30T so that may make the difference. Put in on the Arcless stack with two 30Ts and it's a different story in terms of heat (think vaping the Sun with a wick) so my use is probably the determining factor on why I like them so much.

YMMV.

Probably my big ass sensitive lips... I can’t drink freshly made coffee either...to damn hot 1 minute later and a few degrees cooler and I can drink the whole cup straight

But yeah... Asgard with .12 a lil on the hot side for me at 3mm compared to another rda where the coils are slightly outside a direct shot straight out where I feel .12 isn’t enough.

Still a great performing RDA and thank you again for it.

For anyone else who orders from VapeNW:

Looks like they have already moved to KY. I have a package from them out for delivery today. The package originated in Louisville.
Yes, I was going to tell you mine shipped from Kentucky. My package was supposed to arrive Friday but came 2 days early!

  • 3x Nunchaku Mesh coils
  • 2x Prince Triple Mesh coils
  • 1x TF BF Mesh Coils
  • 1x Blitz Intrepid RTA
0108201501-1.jpg

I don't think I've ever heard of the Intrepid until recently. What attracted me was the different airflow blocks. It's got one of those Cleito/Fireluke styled slip on drip tip. But they give you 3 so that's good on them. I haven't compared the size to any of my other tanks of that style yet.. Here's the deck-
0108201509-1.jpg

My singular airflow ceramic thingy got dinged somehow before it got to me. I don't think it will effect anything so whatever.
0108201510b-1.jpg

I'm going to throw a coil in this right now. I'll try dual coils later. VapeNW was pretty quick getting this out. I think I only did the cheapest shipping option so that's cool it came so quick.

I'm using a .4Ω wire coil in my Nunchaku tank right now. I'm so glad the mesh ones arrived. The wire coils seem to burn liquid a lot faster than the mesh ones. They must be more efficient somehow. The Mesh ones stay good for longer too. It's been one of my favorite tanks recently at 50W.

just brush some, kinda thick, on a hard surfaace. let it dry and see if you like the color. that mod, it is brass, correct ?
No, it's that black one. But I'm just doing the black rings. Maybe, the package from AR is supposed to be here Friday and who knows, maybe he found a set of the old rings. We will see.

I really like the Tauren Solo. Lots of airflow, and I get awesome flavor out of it. Hope you like yours. Setting it up was a little challenging until I watched a video.

So far so good. Airflow is a bit on the loud side. Not whistling or turbulent, but a little loud. Flavor is good. Not the greatest but on par with most everything else I own.
