What am I mixing today, do you ask? Or even if you don’t ask.....lol

I’ve been working with the new WF. Cookie butter......omg, is it good. It’s not spicy(like gingery or like HIC’s Speculoos recipe). It’s butter made out of cookies. Lush. I can def see this as a bakery enhancer, buttery and cookie- ish, but not dry. Smelling it is heavenly. The Strawberry Cheesecake is definitely their Strawberry Gummy Candy mixed with cheesecake. You can smell it out of the gate. Takes a bit of steeping to get the cheesecake out, but worth the week wait.

That’s all so far. The custards and Bavarian are mixed and steeping. I have high hopes!
On my list too! Cookie & butter yum! Your description butter made out of cookies = drool!

@wildgypsy70 is this available in smaller quantities? I'm seeing it on Wonder Flavours' website but the smallest is 16oz at $39.99. Come up with any recipes yet?

BCF has all the new Wonder Flavors! They have a package deal(I think? They did a few weeks ago....all 10 or so for $25). And they have them individually.

I’ve been working like crazy the last week or so, but I’m finally getting some time off. I only got as far as mixing a few of them as SFT. But I have some ideas.....maybe a cookie butter stuffed French toast? Maybe a cookie type of thing with cookie butter cream? I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Vanilla Custard, Lemon Custard.....I’ve got so many half baked ideas right now, but I’m planning on fleshing out a few by the weekend.

I still don't see the WF Cookie Butter on BCF. I'll keep my eye out for recipes and look then. Looking forward to what you come up with.

Edit: It's in stock at diy-ejuice.com in my sizes.

Very encouraging to hear this about the Cookie Butter. Companies have tried, and failed. I love the stuff from Trader Joe's. Highly addictive, to the point I had to stop buying it.

I'll go put this on my list right now!

Does this mean that I have wasted the money I spent buying Flavor West's Cookie Butter? Just got it a few weeks ago and haven't used it yet.

I wonder if anyone has recipes in which they've successfully used FW Cookie Butter? Anybody?

I tried. Nothing worked. I had better luck with JF Cookie butter. I’m thinking a combo of JF and WF might be the magic bullet.

I just read the ELR notes on this flavor. It contains both sugar and salt. I'd have had no idea.

Also would not have assumed that "cookie butter" would mean a dry gingersnap type flavor with salted caramel notes. Have to give all that some thought. Maybe Cap Cake Batter would be a good pairing, along with a citrus mix and FA custard.

ETA: Well then there is also the coil-gunking properties of this flavor. More and more I am beginning to think that I just don't want to use it. Would far rather waste a buck fifty than to be constantly having to clean coils and rewick.

Maybe? It seems to me like a dark molasses/dk brown sugar cookie flavor.....probably better used as a bakery enhancer, not as a main note. Which does have its uses! Maybe even pairing it with the WF cookie butter?

Biscoff spread(a version of cookie butter) does have a light spice note. We use it at the restaurant and pair it with a ginger caramel sauce. Works really well.

Now I'm thinking about something different. Biscotti and coffee. The FW cookie butter might fit in here in very small amounts, to keep coil gunking and dryness down. Might give a thought or two to that.

That would be amazing with the Biscoff cookies! Omg!

Now I'm thinking about something different. Biscotti and...

I have some Flv Biscotti (single flavor) Good stuff!

For my personal preference I like wllmc's...
Biscochitos
recipe better...

1.5% FA Anise
0.8% FA Cinnamon Ceylon
1.5% FA Cookie
0.5% FA meringue
0.5% FA orange
0.3% FA Red Wine

(I don't have FA's Red Wine and substituted FLV Sangria)

Maybe it's because @wllmc creation reminds me more of Giada's real thing recipes?

Hmmmm....

I've never tasted cookie butter in my life. I never even heard of it until seeing the artificial flavor. Maybe I'd seen it on a Ben & Jerries? I dunno.. I just googled it and am not familiar.
Omg......it is the thing i miss the most going gluten free. It’s the consistency of peanut butter but.......it’s cookies. Like a biscuit, pulverized and some sort of fat added. It’s lush. Do yourself a favor and get some....totally worth every penny.

Trader Joe's in your area? They sell it. Kroger? They have the Kroger brand in the peanut butter aisle. Then, there's always the Bischoff brand, sometimes in the bakery area, or the Peanut Butter aisle. They're very very close. I used to sometimes melt a little in the microwave and pour it over ice cream. But, if all you have is a spoon, that works more better than good, too. Hell, @wllmc bought some, sat in his truck, stuck his finger in the jar and started eating it. And that's a totally acceptable way of eating it. Where cookie butter is involved, we don't judge.

I will never judge how someone consumes cookie butter. Ever.

You have strawberries, peaches, whipped cream, mint.
Is that vanilla pudding in there?
If so, i have everything except the mint.
I'll give it a try today.

Well, here it is Gypsy.
It should be ok. I didn't have any pudding so i used some Vanilla Custard, Bavarian Cream, and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream to sub.
And used 3 different strawberries. On the sniff, it has more of a peach smell. But the taste is very good. Really peachy though.
Maybe if it sits for a while the strawberry will come out. If not I'll add more. 100 VG with 0 nic.mixing challenge 001.JPG

S&P Trifle

WF Angel Cake 3%
VT Glazed Strawberries 2.5%
JF Honey Peach 2%
FLV Smooth Vanilla 0.2%
Cap Sugar Cookie 2%
FLV Vanilla Pudding 1.5%
TFA Whipped Cream 1.5%

Off the shake, it’s peachy forward. Creamy with a bit of vanilla cake on the exhale. I like it! Hoping the strawberries make an appearance! If not, I’ll sub the glazed for another strawberry.
