INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone and welcome to another review. This is Pizza Dave and today I will be going over the Evdilo kit by Uwell. This device slowly seems to be sneaking into the market, and I don’t know why it is sneaking. It is a DUAL 21700 box mod, but all put together in a super compact body. The finish jumps out at you with a big Piiiiiyow, and it feels great in hand. But let’s keep the spoilers aside for now and get right into it eh?

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I wasn’t expecting much when I got this one. Thought of it as just another cheap china mod, and it appeared in photos to look rather blah. Well, it is not overly flashy, but it makes up for it in size and feel in hand. The paint on my red one looks gorgeous, and it is the type that reminds me of an autobody finish. It is glossy, thick, and shimmery. It also isn’t a terrible fingerprint magnet due to the clear coating. In hand is where this did impress me. It is compact in size, and has a shape that feels very natural, and gets better the more it is used. So far, right out of the box, I dig it.

OPERATION
Alright, so let’s power this on. 1.2.3.4.5 clicks of the fire button and we are off (or fires up when new batteries are put in). The display is kind of meh and dated, but it is clear and it makes it very simple for a first timer with it. This does not have a menu, but rather highlights the mode with three clicks of the fire button. It has power mode and TCR (temp control) mode. Factory they claim that it is set to SS. Beyond these couple of things, there are some buttons combos. Fire and up locks the adjustment buttons. Fire and down locks out all operation.
Super simple and easy to pick up and start vaping.

VALYRIAN 2 TANK
I don’t want to stretch this segment out a lot, but the Valyrian 2 is an excellent tank. It is easily one of the best sub-ohm tanks I used this year and I will continue using this. Pairing this tank on this mod is a solid choice, as they match perfectly together, both in size, and power requirements. The single and dual mesh both offer a lot of flavor, but the dual is a hair bit more restricted. I started out with the single mesh and had to go buy more liquid to kill it. I went through a whopping 80mls of pecan pie flavored liquid before that coil was starting to get gross. I never experienced leaks at all and highly recommend it

HOW IT VAPES
I already gushed about the Valyrian, so that may come into play with the overall value of this kit. Dual 21700 mods are not something that is super common right now, so that’s where this fills a void in the market well. It is compact, and can fit these batteries, so it is a big win for Uwell in my opinion. It isn’t a super flashy mod, but it works well, and it did what I needed it to do. Wattage mode ramps up well and provides proper power by my feel so they did great there. I did a short test with TC and found that the factory TCR for stainless ran a bit cool, but other than that it did exactly what it is supposed to do. I felt the sustained warmth throughout my longer draws, and it tapered off as the cotton started to dry, preventing a dry hit scenario. Another well done by Uwell. I have one complaint with this mod, and it is the battery door sliding assembly and fitment. Golisi 21700s will not work in this, as they are a bit too fat. Samsung 30T or Ampking 21700s work just fine. When changing batteries, the mod has to be laid down as there isn’t enough base left to hold it upright. It isn’t a big deal, but I hated it every time I change the batteries. One decent aspect though, is that the batteries do stay in place on the mod side, so they are inserted, then the door slides on. The latch feels solid and the door slides up and down freely. Also, for added safety, Uwell added an insulating material to the door in case you are reckless with battery wraps. All in all, that small con about Golisis and a weird means of changing batteries are not deal breakers at all and I totally dig this mod. If you are hunting for a dual 21700 mod, which is compact, works well, and won’t break the bank. Get you one of these.

OVEN TEST – If this were to accidentally fall into the pizza oven, would I go out and get another? Yes. Best dual 21700 for its price and size. Real tough to beat in performance also.
