Wow!That is pretty cool for the Phoenix metro area when it is not even December/January/ And lots of rain too...

I'm hoping our moderate (50s) stuff holds out for at least another week.
About a month early, so be it....I'm tired of the heat.

Curiosity: Is UPS cheaper or easier for you than USPS?

Oh oh oh... another old memory... a year or so ago, you mentioned something about having some old protanks and atomizers that you'd be willing to get rid of. You still have those? If so, figure a reasonable price and maybe I can take them off your hands.

Golden State Medical Supply, Inc. Issues a Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Ranitidine Hydrochloride 150mg and 300mg Capsules (Manufactured by Novitium Pharma LLC) Due to an Elevated Amount of Unexpected Impurity, N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA)

November 15, 2019 -- Golden State Medical Supply, Incorporated (GSMS, Inc) based upon a manufacturer’s recall by Novitium Pharma LLC (Novitium), is voluntarily instituting a recall of all quantities and lots, within expiry, of Ranitidine HCl 150mg and 300mg Capsules to the consumer level because of potential presence of N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) above levels established by the FDA.

Seems a lot of these lately have the same N-Nitrosodimethylamine impurities...

Mostly what I found way back in time when I had a metal detector was the bottle caps the litterbugs dropped on the beach. :)

Have a good sleep, don't work too hard, and if you find time later, check to see if you still have any old protanks and atomizers. Nitey nite.

When I was in Faith this morning, I'd guess their winds were 15-20 mph. Here at home, 30 with gusts to 45. Our high temp was 34 ºF with some light rain. No precip at the moment, but the temp has dropped to 25 ºF ("feels like" = 5 ºF). I hope everyone outside is staying in the barns or garage.

I put all the vape shit I don't use in boxes, like a lot of boxes....a few years back when they were claiming the fda was going to stop the sale I kinda hoarded a LOT of shit. When I get a chance, I'll dig through the boxes to see what I have.

I was close, only off by 5 mph....closer than the guess.

And they might still try to pull that one off. I noticed a few states that are putting on a 75% tax on vape gear and/or allowing tobacco-flavored juice only (sound like they want us all to stay on cigarettes - gee, I wonder who is paying for that legislation).

I am most interested in tanks that hold between 3 and 5 or 6 mL of juice with factory atomizers (i.e., not home made coils and wicks). I know I can still get all that stuff (for awhile anyway) on the Chinese websites, but if any of my friends want to unload any of their old stuff, I'd rather pay them than China.

It rained like hell most of the day....it's pouring now. I had to drive back to the same building three times due to rain, when there was a break, I ran back....what a nightmare. Thank god it only rains about 10 days a year....I'm so accustomed to it I don't think I could take rain every week, or for an entire week......:teehee:

This past year, it has rained so much here that I felt like we were still living in the Porkland, Orygun area. But more than rain, I hate the wind here, and like you "average" rain days, we probably only have 10 days a year when it is calm... and those are usually the days the temp is over 100 ºF. We did not hit that temp even once this whole year.

It was relatively cooler here than normal this year, which didn't bother me a bit.....last year was brutal.

Thank god for the global cooling...!

Well I need to get the hell out of here, long drive in the morning.....when it rains people freak out, I saw about 10 collisions on the freeway today, some laying on their top, others over the jersey barrier, several rear enders....really incredible.

Have a good one tomorrow

They obviously have no clue how to drive on slippery surfaces.

Have a good sleep. Yak more tomorrow.
Rained like a SOB last night and all day.....but it stopped just so I could get on a roof to see the A/C units....my job is done.....:)

Thor's Day: Beautiful blue sky and light wind (10-15 mph) and a high of only 32 ºF. OK, OK, technically, the high was 35 ºF, but I'm not counting that because over the course of 10 minutes, you could watch the thermometer go from 32, to 33, to 34, to 34.6, to 34, to 33, and back to 32. I think a sunbeam reflected off something and hit the sensor for a few minutes. The temp right at this moment (10:30 PM MST) is 21 ºF.

Wish my body was still in condition to do that. The pic you sent of you standing next to Rio Verde looked very inviting. I really miss the trekking adventures...
I love that shit...finding anything is just a bonus....kinda like fishing.

My hiking companions have always been Sarah and Dippy (read that as serendipity) ... I might claim I went for X-reason, but that has always been an extra. In reality, it was never more than to breathe fresh air, enjoy the scenery (take a few pictures) and see something I haven't seen before. I think most of my dirt biking on mountain trails had the same goal in mind. Who cares if I win the race? I'm only here to have fun...

Ground is bare at the moment. We had no snow yesterday when it was in the forecast. I think they are claiming we'll have some Monday or Tuesday and I hope they are wrong on that one too. Matter of fact, I'd be real happy to never see any more white shit in this lifetime.

It's really amazing what you stumble upon in the desert, abandoned mines, indian artifacts, petroglyphs in rock, never know what's on the other side of a mountain.

That's why I used to climb them: to stand at the top and look beyond.

Nope. We're running three little electric heaters this year. Gonna make my electric bill outrageous, but... whatever...

I need to get the hell out of here...need to stop at my mother's house in the morning and move a sofa out of the house, she has a new one coming between 8-12...kinda like the mailmans schedule.

Well, they are 1500W. so using the old P=IE formula, at 120 VAC, that would come out to 12.5 Amps at max setting (they have three ranges, with 1500W being highest).

I need to get the hell out of here
OK, sleep well and don't screw your back up moving that sofa tomorrow (would make for painful hiking).

Damn people shitting in the fields again....!
Yeah, and the House just passed legislation to let all the illegal Ag workers stay here indefinitely and have a path to citizenship, even if they are guilty of crimes. I hope the Senate stops that bill.
