CV is the legendary CopperVape squonker

I resigned from moderating

You can curse away on VU - even at a mod, lol

On the bag of Dicks, on the side, it says something about credit cards and Dick’s. Lol

I think Mist has a few Copper Vapes.

You resigned? You’re a great mod! But I’m glad you’re hanging out!

Humble-strawberry waffle-which didn't do much for me . surpisingly-so I added some chocolate & strawberry concentrates ahh-much better.

Had no idea dicks was real---naaa--not going there-don't want to offend anyone-but I'm chuckling.

Dicks had just started taking credit cards at the time after being one of the last bastions of cash in Seattle

It almost looked like they had a Dick’s credit card of their own.

A few months ago I went to the bank to deposit some checks, and usually they credit me immediately, but I didn’t know the new tellers. Anyway, I left without being able to get any cash.
I went across the street to a small Chinese grocery place to get water, and the lady wanted cash only! (GFY in Chinese.)

I did some online window shopping. Put some things in a shopping cart to return to later. Bumped a sale thread or two in hopes to offload the things I do not use, to aid in the purchase of something I will use.

What’re you trying to offload?

Oh right, I saw that Drag mod. Much loved and all.

I’ve been wanting to try a mech, but my building skills are negligible at the moment.

So later really only meant about an hour. My wife came home. Said she spent some silly amount of money on Pampered Chef stuff. Figured that gives me ammo. So I discussed with her the details of her purchase, and she gave me the ok to spend a few bucks.
Ordered a new mod. Decided on the Dovpo M VV 2. I love my first version of the M VV. The new version handles a little lower resistance. Handles a larger rda as well. Only draw back is the designs. They are a bit tacky. But if it performs as good or better than my first version, then I can deal with a design that's a bit tacky.

Right now I’m outside on my back porch vaping like a fiend scared to death of my husband and I’s first marriage counseling session. He said this is it or were done.

Those burns from the other night are "developing"... yeah, like old timey Polaroid pics. :teehee:

BURNS-2dayslater.jpg

That yellow circle is the only really major blister that developed. A couple of the other spots looked a little puffy yesterday, and the big one in the middle was REALLY puffed yesterday... but the small, minor ones are mostly being reabsorbed, and even the real blister looks better today, in the process of being reabsorbed though not as far along in that process as the others. I guess that explains why that was the most painful of all the spots, it was the only *truly* 2nd degree burn... but the aloe did what it's supposed to do, and I think ultimately they won't even leave a scar.

The ones toward the top of my arm look a little darker, but I think only because the skin is darker there, as well as more sun-weathered; those ones really didn't hurt that much.

It sounds a lot like he already knows how he wants it to go, and if it doesn't go that way, he'll just "take his ball and go home," in terms that a child would understand -- going into couple's counseling with that kind of attitude is really unfair, and nearly guaranteed to fail. It sounds like he wants to control you, and is trying to enlist the assistance of the therapist in gaining that control. Therapy just doesn't work that way.

Well I’m hoping and praying for the best... he’s the stepfather to my oldest son and father to my youngest. We have a family together and I don’t want it ruined

Tonight?! Andria is right about this, though!
We just finished. Had to answer some serious questions and were really not on the same page. Have to go through a marriage packet to answer more serious questions and give the packets back when we’re done to see what the major issues are

what ? they wear out or something ?
I broke 1 changing it out. They are pretty fragile.
new wasps come with the non squonk pin installed and I was setting them up for use. I only keep one wasp with non squonk pin for testing new mixes and such.
I do not drip as a rule. Too much hassle when one can squonk.
I keep about 6 wasps ready to go in my atty stand. So a quick swap out and go.

All I can offer is my own experience. I went to couple's therapy with my first husband, mainly because I was a drunk and drug addict, and he had NO idea what to do about that. She said I had to go to rehab, so I did, then came home and went to AA meetings everyday. So for that, I thank her, because I met my 2nd husband at those meetings. When I finally came to my senses and realized I was never going to be the person my 1st husband wanted me to be, I asked for a divorce; he said no. I asked for a separation, he said no. So I said the hell with him, and did what I wanted, figuring that eventually he'd get fed up and divorce me, and I was right, because he STILL had no clue what to do with a drunk drug addict -- he THOUGHT he was divorcing me because the therapist said that if I didn't do everything exactly right, he should divorce me, instead of realizing that he was divorcing me because I was tired of trying to be someone I was not and didn't want to be with him anymore. So about 6 months afgter the divorce was final, I married my 2nd husband, with whom I'd already been living since before the divorce was final.

With my 2nd husband, we also went to couple's therapy, because I was so depressed I was about a millimeter from committing suicide, but didn't want to do that to my son, who was 15 at the time. It was also putting a hell of a stress on the marriage, because my husband was as clueless about depression as my 1st husband was about substance abuse -- but the big difference was, neither of us wanted to control the other -- we just wanted to keep our marriage intact because WE LOVE EACH OTHER MORE THAN LIFE, but we both knew that we needed help. And fortunately we got it, and I finally got some antidepressant meds, we worked on our marriage, and things finally got better -- but it wasn't quick nor easy; the couple's therapy took about 6 months, the depression treatment took a couple of years. Now we've been happily married for 32 yrs, but it's not all hearts and flowers -- sometimes we scream and yell at each other because we are REAL PEOPLE who get infuriated with the person we love most in the world -- that's real life. But you don't get a divorce because you get mad at each other. You get a divorce ONLY if there is simply nothing else that can be done. Sorta like when my mom divorced my drunken and abusive dad.

Looking back on how much less gear i have this year as opposed to Halloween last year. Although I do have a bix full of stuff not in use also. But damn it feels naked.

But don't you have that feeling you have to get more gear to fill the empty spots?
I used to feel that way. Now i just put everything in footlockers where i don't see any of it.

But do you really like the gear that you do have? Having more stuff doesn’t always mean you’ll love it more.

True that. I have a couple fo 60W I think Smok mods that have the battery door held on by screws in my last resort vape stash box.
They were too cheap to pass up on :)

I have a bunch of stuff, mostly juice, that I bought during ban sales before I started mixing. I realized that I don’t like most of it, or can’t vape a lot of it. It’s in boxes taking up space.

I like and use most of my gear though. But I won’t get caught up in ban craziness anymore.
