Build Stands: Where Do You Get 'Em?

I see the pro reviewers using build stands when they review RDAs, RTAs and RDTAs, but I've never actually seen them sold anywhere. Even went looking on a couple of my favourite vape retailers several days ago. Nada. So whence do you acquire these things?

The ones that look the most useful look to be made from perhaps aircraft grade aluminium?

I heard @The Cromwell makes them from wood, a few other people do too - you might post in the Accessories trading post here on VU and ask around

i saw a guy somewhere that was making very nice expencive ones.

i use a mod or the ohm reader.

I've seen some on fb floating around, people making really pretty rounded ones from stabwood and all polished up nicely. Some made out of acrylic. There's a ton of various ones on fasttech.

I made one in 3 hours. Bought some pine wood, cut it, sanded it, drilled some holes, screwed it together and stained it. It holds 20 attys, 8 mods and 18-20 bottle of juice. Works like a champ.

I'm thinkin' maybe I'll just acquire a hunk of aluminium off eBay, drill and tap it, myself. Thanks for the suggestions, all!

I used to just build on a pen mod but since buying this it's my goto build stand now, and $13.93 is a steal!
No faffing about swapping it around.

It's a bit random, anything between 2 to 4 weeks depending on the carrier, I tend to just order and forget about it as watching the tracking process is frustrating.
