For my MTL set up, I just removed the dry plug. We'll see if that stops the spitting.
In other news, I did a BB first. I used another xeta for DL. No inserts and no chimney. Using the same coils at the same wattage right now but with 6mg juice instead of 9mg.

I'm liking it so far. It's a little restricted. I'd say it's very close to the same vape as a 0.5 EUC but without the dryness you get from a premade coils.
I'm scared to up the wattage though in case of dry hits lol

I haven't set a BB up for dl in any way yet, might try it with the Xeta. I am getting a tad of over saturation in mtl with it as well, but just a tad. Think I will play with the jf screws a bit next go around
Setting up an RBA for the BB is a first for me. If I wanted a DL vape, I always used an EUC coil. Although it didn't get used much. I had the same coil in there for months.

Hey, @~Don~, in case you were wondering just how frigging sharp the VTOKU 2 you sent me (many, many thanks again) is, check this out:
I know you told me it is crazy sharp but this is way above and beyond crazy, more like unfrigging believable scary sharp. Double edge razors score below 100 and utility razor blades below 200. When I grow up, I want to sharpen all my blades like that.

you know the funny thing with that blade Brew... I did it by hand and only to 1000 grit, then stropped it.
If I could do it again with my KME and take it to .10 micron... my goodness
my KME goes 120, 300, 600, 1000, 1500... that was before I got the DLFs
Vtoku just gets scary sharp
I got the 2200 and 3000 WE diamond stones a month or so ago and I have the strops (but haven't used them yet) down to 1.0/0.5 microns on leather. I also have the DLFs (6.0, 3.0, 1.5, 1.0 and 0.1 microns) but only used the 6 .0 micron this far. I think I have a set of balsa wood stropping handles too, I have to look.

My test for "Don" sharp was always the hair on my arms against the grain... going in the direction of the hair can be obtained 600 grit and a little stropping... going against the hair needs to be sharp like 3 micron otherwise it rips the hairs.

But yeah... Vtoku is probably the sharpest steel I ever toyed with... mostly found outside of Spyderco in Japanese Kitchen knives... but Vtoku itself as I remember is rather brittle and like 64HRC, Spyderco clads it with that soft as shit Sus410... its why the action on that knife is junk... the 410 dished the blade at the pivot area...but one can still easily thumb it open.
I remember after I sharpened that knife, I set up a piece of printer paper and it push cut it easily when I stood it up... just dropped the blade over the folded area and whoosh right through the whole thing.

Ordered on the 17th, shipped on the 18th so 13 days total to NC. Mine came with black Boro instead of white. Also ordered 2 A-tanks around the same time but they fell into the usps ISC NY black hole on the 16th and no further updates even though it said "processed through facility" and scheduled delivery for yesterday.
Not holding out much hope for that one. Probably got chewed by the conveyor or something. Had the same thing happen about 2 years ago when I ordered a metal canister/filter for my HP air compressor that I fill my scuba tank with. Never received, ISC black hole but considering how much stuff I've ordered from China over the years, two incidents isn't really a bad record. Just strange the screw up is on the U.S. side, not China.

I haven't had a ton of time, but I have my SXK set up for DTL now. Wide open. So far flavor isn't as good as the Exocet, but the cotton is new and I don't think I have the right build in it for this. 6 wraps 28ga Ti1 3mm. When I get a chance I'm going to go down to 26. I AM getting clouds though.
when i first bought wraps, i didn't know squat. i ended up putting 18650 wraps on 2 21700. they were nearly not going on, i thought it normal, odd but normal. but really working them, i got them on. i found out later they were wrong. but they did work. just fyi.
Hmmm, I did try a 20700 on an 18650 (dedpool), and it did work, but I had creases everywhere. I figured it was just cuz diameter was bigger, but maybe I didn't heat it right? I have zero experience with 21700. The one thing I have been able to avoid, lol

use a heat gun. i started using my wifes hair dryer , wrinkles. and it took a while and burned my fingers.
the heat gun = BAM , "and" , believe it or not, it hardly heats your fingers. be advised, the heat gun shrinks em real fast.
sweet. gotta get a wrap in there. though, the frosted wouldn't show it well, but still.

its sweating cause its cold. i almost stole this. and i never did see the mail truck = almost always paarks in front of neighbors house. only reason i knew it was delivered = tracking. and i'm lucky = a trick or treating punk could have easily stole it.
