in the past, I've purchased some vape items from aliexpress as well as DHGate..not all the time, but sometimes, the prices are a little less & I'm sure we all like to save a few pennies here and there....

tonight, I logged into my account to see if there was anything new out that peaks my interest, but I continually got the "we're sorry, that page does not exist" error.

I finally got through to customer service & their statement to me was,
"I apologize to tell you that US government new law banning all imports related to vape and other vape related products to US."

are they mistaken? or am I just in the dark with respect to this supposed regulation?

if this IS true, I can see the end to vaping as we know it & we'll all be back experimenting with mom's coffee press & a car battery

Yep. No more aliexpress, alibaba, and a few others. I noticed some us companies have restrictions listed on the main page for states they won't ship juice to.

Yeah, aliexpress and that other one recently announced no more selling to the US, but you might try fasttech, or my favorite 3fvape - fasttech is sometimes referred to as slowtech, but 3fvape has always been good to me on shipping times

I've never bought from aliexpress or dhgate because they looked too fishy for me, like tooooo cheap, so that doesn't bother me at all - and might be good for the other businesses out of china

just for clarity it was there choice after the flavor gate not a true ban yet on import they just want to save face before it could happen my bet is that it is more likely due to Juul influencing those sellers

seeing as out asshat of a governor jsut put a ban on flavored eliquids, I was concerned about the availability of flavored juice in WA...BUT!
I contacted a foreign manufacturer of juice that is fairly local to me (I only live about 90 miles from the canadian border) and was told that they would continue to fulfil any and all orders for flavored juice. they further stated that the ban did not apply to manufacturers that were out of the country (at least that was what their understanding was). I've always been extremely please with the flavors from the company and the prices are extremely reasonable as well.

DHGate is ok Meg,
I've used them about 5 or 6 times and never had a problem.
They have some hard to find items.
They use DHL and then it transfers to the USPS.
Shipping time was around a week.
The only bad thing is they didn't accept PayPal.

What with the recent flavor bans and the Deeming regs kicking in next May...
Per the Deeming regs it has never been legal to sell any vape product in the US that was not on the US market prior to 8-8-2016.
They have kind of declined to enforce this though, but have been ordered by a cou=rt to have their enforcement in place by next May 12.
At that time all vape poroducts sold in the USA will either have to have FDA approval or be in the process of obtaining it.
NO vape product is currently FDA approved for sale in the USA.
And I do not know of any pending approvals either.

Imports of non approved vape stuff is also forbidden. the manufacturers of the vape products are responsible for obtaining approval.
