Try to use a can of Air spray to clean out the port/charger port. It may help or may not help, worth the try ;)

I wear those kind of rocker shoes. They have saved my back and helped keep the heel spurs at bay. I don't know what I'd be like if it weren't for those kind of shoes.

I have a pair of dansko's but not sure if I like them. I'm looking at sketchers or fila work shoes. My feet/back is still hurting from Friday. Before then "nothing". Then wam-bam with pain. It's the shoes. I was wearing a old pair of avia. They look brand new but obviously worn out.

Oh no ! :( Sorry, your back and feet are still hurting. Hopefully, the new pair will ease the pain and will keep the pangs away. It's miserable having to work/live with back and feet pain. Hope you feel better soon :hug:

I have Danskos too. One pair is great, the other pair makes my calf muscles hurt like crazy if I walk a bit. They’re the same exact style except for the leather pattern, so wth?

It could be, but basically I think it’s the cord. So being lazy, I moved it to a different room to charge. But I like having stuff playing in the background (not TV) so I’m using the phone.

Speaking of shoe talk, I was looking for a slip-on shoe that was truly slip-on with no need to fuss with back getting caught on my heel. A shoe I could step into while walking and I’d be wearing them. I had a pair like that but they were old and worn so I bought a few different kinds and was disappointed by all. If they slipped on without problems they’d be too loose and cause blisters from rubbing otherwise they’d be tighter but then I’d have to use a shoe horn or dig the back out from under my heel.
Well that was long winded but now I’ll get to the point. I found these shoes called Kizik’s which were exactly what I wanted. They hug my foot firmly, are comfortable and most importantly slip on with ease. They have a titanium strap in the back that makes it pop up after your foot passes it instead of getting caught under heel. It’s a brilliant design and the have men’s and women’s with three different models for each. They actually look pretty good but they do cost quite a bit. I’m willing to pay it because it’s exactly what I wanted, looks good, is comfortable, and seems well built and should last a long time. So anyway if you want a shoe that truly slips on because like me you are putting them on and taking them off quite a bit, or have a bad back which I also have, check out these shoes. Good shoes will cost big bucks. I had my dansko's for 2 months and only wore them for about a hour. They are pricey as well. I don't like the heel height. I will eventually wear them but not until I get use to the new job.





Kizik’s shoes looks nice. I assume you are referring to a slip on athletic shoe. I bought a pair of slip on sketchers once and ended up with blisters on the ankle.

It was a great day, thank you for asking! We couldn’t go to the pumpkin patch because it was raining so we went to Walmart and got pumpkins. Had my youngest paint his and most of my nieces and nephews painted theirs. We had a lot of family over. Ate good pizza! It was a good time! I’m drained now though.

Just hanging out watching movies, not much going on. The weather is pretty cool now, so we just lazed out the whole weekend.
I think there’s a storm or something passing through the Tri State area. It’s been pretty windy and gray here. Pizza sounds good!
I saw your painting in another thread, I liked it a lot!

Yea I got the Kizik–New York model, I was looking at some Dansko’s also. The Victor. Good looking shoe but my shoe had to slip on easily and the danskos may have but these kiziks were designed specifically for easy slip on. I’m just happy I finally found a shoe that does it. As long as they don’t go outta business I’ll know where to get great slipons for now on.

Yeah, I saw you posted that it was probably the cord. I had remembered that my mom had trouble charging her phone and that's what I told her to use to clean out her port and surprisingly it worked. . Thought I'd pass on the info just in-case ;) . I have a boom box that is bluetooth and play music from my phone for background tunes, cuz I'm too lazy to get up and plug in my phone to the stereo, lol.

Well good, refined sugar is poison:eek: glad you're not eating it my friend. Jean, my wifey, always uses honey in place of :eek:sugar:eek: in all her cooking and baking, I don't get any of the baked stuff cause I won't eat anything made with flour/wheat:( but everyone says you can't tell it was honey in place of sugar:D. I am doing pretty good, healing more each day, thank you for asking my friend:hug:. How are you and hubby doin?

I learned a long time ago the importance of a really good pair of shoes, it's better to pay the price now;) than later:eek:. I really wouldn't mind the high price so much if they were just made in America:facepalm:

Sadly, the pair I bought yesterday was made in Indonesia. Most New Balance are made in the U.S. The dansko is made in the U.S. or so they say.

Sadly, the pair I bought yesterday was made in Indonesia. Most New Balance are made in the U.S. The dansko is made in the U.S. or so they say.
