I am sorry for you too jinx'd. Our kitty's name actually was "Angel". Now she is a real Angel. However her breed normally lives about 23 years(large exotic cat). She lived 38! So I did not feel so terrible. Well I was in pieces personally but I knew she had a splendid life at least gave me some solace. I do not understand why everyone's animal friends are passing away right now. I personally know 5 people in the last 2 months but then again I know a lot of people. It is never an easy thing. Funny thing wee are not hoarders. We are a licensed animal welfare refuge containing over 13,000 animals. Our residence has but one animal, a kitty. The residence is so large that he must wear a GPS so we can locate him!
I just thought of something funny even though the mood is somber right now.
If they put Bernie Sanders on the Ballet they might as well just include Col. Sanders to boot! Even though I am a vegan I would actually be more inclined to vote for the latter! At least Col. Sanders only ever fucked over chickens! It's personal Man!. Oh, yes it is. Don't even go there!

you and @jinx'd There are no magic words to make the pain any less.......That pretty girl in my picture was my Kuvasz, Lightning. She lived to 13 ( which is rare for that breed) she passed 6 months after my beautiful Shepherd, Thunder left us...........It has been 10 years and I still miss them terribly. I have 2 little sheps now that are 8 and I do love them dearly, but, Thunder and Lightning were my best friends and protectors. Samson and Lilah are also though and they are great dogs. here is Lilah playing mommy to a little kittie ( Meko ) hubby found out on the street driving to work one day and samson looking on from afar. He wasn't too sure about this little ball of fluff at first

Jinx'd, you have some decent equipment. At least what you need to get the job done. It may take longer but hey it works. If you start seling them for $1,500+ you can invest in some serious stuff.
So I went nuts on the Post Master in Illinois on the phone. I guess I really scared him LOL. He offered to drive up here himself and bring it to me! First, I guess he did not understand how far it is, then he got lost by another 140 miles anyways HAHA. So anyways I got the knife. It is of extremely high quality. It is not a multi thousand dollar custom knife simply because it is too thick/wide and too heavy. Otherwise the fit and finish is superb. The Stabwood meets the frame perfectly, no overhang whatsoever. The blade is even perfectly centered. If you are not aware, a centered blade is one of the hallmarks of a quality folding knife. However, it could easily pass for a $850 knife such as a Benchmade Gold class. Who said everything from China is junk? Not everything. Most everything you would find at Walmart but not from companies such as Asmodus and countless other niche American/ UK/Germany ETC. companies doing manufacturing in China at the high end. As I had stated earlier those ISO 9001/2 factories over there you could just as wel eat off the floor. Plus they have the finest machinery in the world at this point and highly skilled labor at that. The knife was like taking candy from a baby for under $21 delivered. Quite impressed/pleased with it. It will not be my EDC due to the thickness and weight but it is a very nice safe queen indeed. It also indeed is a genuine composite Damascus blade but I am not aware of what the base metal is. I can se if they know but I doubt it. I hope it is stainless steel at least. It is also not canned Damascus as I had feared. Even though you can find plenty expensive knives of canned Damascus out there. I think it is about time to order another Mod! Perhaps find something at Asmodus other than the only 1/1 Thor II they currently have which I do not much care for, It is very plain looking wood IMO.

The Asvape Gabriel is a PWM..... you need more power you turn a wheel......
And the gold coating scratches easily and it begins deteriorating on day one.....
But it's a well price Stabwood mod to begin with.......

Not at $230 from Stabwood UK it is not! He is the only one that has stock anymore. They went out of business. That company was short lived. Although I most certainly have no complaints about Phil himself. Quite the contrary. Nothing but praise for him from me. PWM does indeed suck. Apparently VOtech, the chip manufacturer that is in it went belly up to. I figure it was worth $50 for one sealed in the package. The lowest I have ever seen it was $120. That is still a far cry from $230 however.

Mine fell apart rapidly specially the plastic fire button...... It had a plastic red Ruby, but a fake one that fell off and she slowly got scratched and one day wouldn't fire.....
But a cheap one for $50 bucks it's cool......

Manny, you sure you had a Gabriel? It does not have a plastic ruby fire button. All the buttons are aluminum. t is also readily apparent to me hat it is hand carved. You can see he mistakes CNC would never make. Not even standard power tools. This is doable because Chinese labor is for nothing. In fact much cheaper than a company investing in those machines. No wonder that company was so short lived. They were in business all of 3 years.
Speaking of which I did not realize how old your Solar Storm was. It is on early pages of this thread. I am very grateful I got the 75C for what you hooked me up with. That is about a $900 Mod. Plus the waiting game. I seem to notice that the Java is actually quite large. Is it about the size of, or larger than say a reuleaux? I actually prefer the 1x 18650 Mods for my puny hands but they last me about 15 minutes chain vaping. Although these 21700's are not fairing much better. I just had the opportunity to charge an AA NIMH in the Folomov. Worked great as expected. Some of the Energizer AA's are in fact Eneloop Pro's. Very good batteries. The give away is "made in Japan". Plus I was lucky to pay $8 for a 4 pack. Going rate is $25. One thing that pisses me of is Chinese counterfeit shit. All manner of stuff. They are experts at that. They make Rolexes so good all but the most seasoned jewelers cannot even tell. Total crap. Always buy anything of value from an authorized dealer of said product.

That's the wood one correct? The Gabe has a rubberized finish to it. I got it in a trade and while it has a few quirks and I actually tossed it against the baseboard once ( which I think in fact fixed it ) It's pretty and I enjoy it.
