that Danish oil, i didn't say to use it. i said to "look into it", based on what the block seller told me. i have not used it, so idk personally.

far as your new Primo being bad, idk, i can not see it. but, you had one that went bad, so you know first hand what a bad one feels and looks like. just look for those signs. though, by the time you see it, it about to late.

asmodus stab. from what little i have seen, i think its about the best out there. far as durability goes.

Jinx'd, yes Asmodus is good stuff. whoever said VA is better quality is just the perception in the namesake and cost. Like Nike shoes. Plus the Thor II is not exactly cheap for them and does not go on sale ever. A 1/1 Thor II is a very fine Mod to behold. You can feel the quality. It is not a top custom but neither is a VA for that matter. I would say they are pretty equal with the Asmodus being more robust. I beat some Asmodus and they took every bit of it. You say a little juice and that VA crumbled. Asmodus either uses better wood or cures it better. Or both. Asian wood is some of the best.

yesterday i fitted a small plastic internal piece. nexxt i have to afix the bottom plate, so that i know exacctly where to put the battery hole. boring this hole is going to be very difficult, because of the size of my machine and the tooling i have for the job = on a bigger machine it would be a piece of cake.

I just have a feeling this is going to be a $3,000 Mod. I had mentioned that already and knowing jinx'd I am not at all doubting it. For one thing it is going to be a lot nicer than it was when it was a POS VA. Yeah I talk shit about them because they talked shit right to me! I did nothing to deserve that from them either.

When I said trump was a bastard I meant exactly what you said. He has to be tough against these assholes. It is honestly the dems that start all the shit bitch and whine. Sorry I’m just seeing this post. I kinda said why on our private mail. I knew immediately that you were the same person from ECF too. I couldn’t imagine too many people with the same unique member ID!!

There are a few others here from ECF that I know of because they use the same ID and their information is the same. I usually just ask. There maybe others that use different names though.

YouTube use to be able to carry more of the Classic films but I think something about copyright issues came up etc.... now you can see bits n pieces but rarely the entire film. I’m so happy that I have TCM. I don’t know what I’d do all day lol!! Watch soap operas I guess lol!!!!

So I have tried the Danish Oil. Not entirely sure about it. I think the synthetic spray wax is indeed 100% waterproof as it says. keeps old cars from rusting. that is what is made for. The reason the Mod feels greasy to me is because the juice cannot rub in. It is just smearing around. Like you were smearing it on a piece of plastic now. There is obviously no way the juice can get inside it. Plus it is completely sealed between the plates too now. It ws a very good idea though. nothing lost there. I will probably finish some furniture with it sometime. no problem there. I appreciate the recommendation nonetheless. It appears short of Poly, spray wax is where it is at. Plus this coating should last years without reapplication on this too. Just to be safe I will reapply now and then but I do not want to get a build up film and turn the damn thing white color either. You use this stuff sparingly. It is highly potent. What it is, is Teflon which if you know is 100% waterproof. It should have also made the wood even harder. The mod was not "growing" again. It was just a shorter battery I had. I put back the other battery and had to screw the terminal back in luckily. It is good if you do not want to take the time for Poly and/or want a matt gloss. I see some high end Mods with a "hand rubbed finish" too.

this one is only going to be a little more custom than a stock primo. i don't seee that making it worth $1000 more.
sides, its not for sale. now, everything has its price, ain't no one pay'n my price.

if you feel better with the wax, stay with it. and did you wax the top of the mod, where the tank goes ? you should. put it on kinda thick, rub it in, then wipe off all that you can see. then after that, is the buttons, can't really do much with the buttons. unless you want to put a rubber on it ! then you would have a "boner mod" ! :giggle::facepalm:

i got the batt hole mostly done. i found a way that was way easier than i thought. only problem, i fucked it up. long story short = i made the hole to deep (not with the machine boring tool). and i had to make a wood washer and glue it inside, will be fine.

neither have i, but i only just started using it much. the coils, at least the way i am with them, could last years.

thats not resin, i thought it was to, but no. its a rubbery material.

made what so fast ? not that block. i am only about 1/2 way through, if that.

The one in the machine. It looks like it’s going pretty good. I just ordered an Asmodus Colossal since it was on sale, and it looked like a great mod.
It’s not stab, but I’m sure it’s made well. I am really done buying now...

I am afraid if I wax the buttons or 510 they are going to stick? In fact I am pretty darn sure they will. I just blow them out with the air compressor at 400PSI once a day. That is a shitlot of pressure. Enough to rip open your skin in fact. It goes up to 1800PSI but I never had any need for such a thing.

Thank you for the compliment jinx'd. That is very nice of you. I like you a lot too. I like everyone on here but you and Manny are my closest friends. I am glad you are happy with the Primo. I thought you were going to be very disappointed but I would have refunded you(and let you keep it). :)

Thank you. I just ordered a blue knife. It does not say the blade length? It was a steal regardless. Even for made in China. A custom knife like that might cost $5500.00 I did not get a 1/1 Thor II. I did not like what they had and as usual it is not on sale. I have 5 of them. That is enough. Plus I have 6 Thor's you cannot even get anymore. I like them both. I am excited about the knife though. I wish they offered expedited shipping but I cannot complain about free!

No, they are coming from the USA. If you are in the USA you should have it by Thursday at the latest depending where you are. I should get mine Tuesday or Wednesday. I just meant that all of their products are made in China but they are stocked in the USA. Have no fear about China in this instance. The Asmodus products are of absolutely superb quality. I will be elated to have this knife in my collection for $20.95. That is an insane price for the quality that it most likely is. That is, if it is anything like their Mods which it looks to be. In fact it is even real Damascus and not "laminated". So, at the absolute lowest even from china this is a $150 knife. If it were a custom, think thousands of dollars. Most likely, knowing them it is almost indistinguishable from a custom in fact.

It actually is in fact a laminated blade but the Damascus goes through the Tang so it is very high quality lamination. It is fine. William Henry Studio(Google it) sells knives with laminated blades for $250,000.....so. Trust me I am sure it is worth $21. Put it that way. Normally I would not touch a $21 knife but this actually looks like a several hundred dollar knife from McCusta(Google that too). then you learn about knives. Hint: do not join blade forums! they are complete assholes over there. Unless someone already belongs and gets along, fine but they threw me out. You guys are way more tolerant of me. I guess you did not even sleep "R"? Neither did I! Going to McDonald's now. I just get fruit. My nurse eats the disgusting shit.
