we have 1500 photos between the 4 of us so, I won't continue to post them, but all in all, some of the best days I have spent in my life.

Those are amazing, thank you! Seems to me that a trip like that could change your whole life perspective, if you'd never traveled widely before. What an experience for you!

I have traveled quite a bit, but mostly with family outside of the country. Mostly with friends inside the country. This was something else entirely. The food was amazing, the destinations just as great, but the company was the best part for sure. It was unbelievable. From driving on some of the most insane roads possible (Amalfi Coast), locking ourselves inside of an airbnb apartment building with a train to catch in 30 minutes (I got us out of that one and made the train with 1 minute to spare), the girls accidentally locking us out of another airbnb apartment building at 1am (my friend got us out of that one), almost falling off the side of the mountains at Path of the Gods Positano (5,000 ft elevation) the path gave out under my foot and I just slid and grabbed on for dear life. I almost gave one of the girls a heart attack and I definitely would have died. To the beautiful scenery, and the moments spent bonding with amazing people, meeting strangers from all over the world, drinking the best coffee possible, every moment was perfect even when death was imminent. hahahah

Here's one I mixed earlier in the week that has turned out to be really good.

Pecan Pie

Butter Pecan (FW) 2%
Cinnamon Spice (TPA) 0.5%
Custard (Crema Pasticcera) (FA) 1.5%
Honeycomb (VTA) 1.5%
Marshmallow (FW) 1.5% (reduce to 1% if using FA)
Molasses (TPA) 0.5%
Pecan (TPA) 1.25%
Pie Crust (FW) 1.5%
Shortbread (INAWERA) 2%
Sweetener (Sucralose) (VW) 1% (or Cap Super Sweet or FW Sweetener, etc.)

Total 15.25%

That looks really good, but I would need to get VTA Honeycomb, TPA Pecan & INW Shortbread.
Now on my "one of these days" list!

just to shed some perspective. This is a couple feet away from where I almost fell off the mountain. Hahahahaha.
Wow! Glad you are safe! Sounds like a fun adventure!

Sent the family some Cinn toast crunch and cupcake/frosting. They love it. Simple and easy to mix. I need to buckle down and mix more of @Smoky Blue recipes. My SIL likes a simple one. It was on her FLV page (FB). It was a simple butterscotch pudding but it pleased her palette. All good for me. Easy breezy mixing. Thanks Smoky! I do appreciate your ideas/recipes.

Has anybody ordered from Vaperstek recently? I was going to order some nic and noticed they have a free shipping option. The next option is Priority. Guessing from that, is it safe to assume they still air mail packages? It's been around 100° in OK and wouldn't want my box out in that heat traveling down the highway the whole journey.

I have to buy a few flavors for that recipe. Popcorn/caramel. Someday, I might collect all the flavors. :) It does sound good.

Surprised me, and think I am slap addicted to it now.. Check out the apple butter and the toast too Artemis... turned out beautiful! :)
I'm waiting for a labor day diy sale. Sadly, I suppose I should order direct from flavorah because every time I have a list..the vendors are always out of that "one" I want. :) P.S. Apple butter sounds like something I would love.

I do have a question on your Cream base. After mixing the Smoky Blue's cream base I can use it at 1.2% or 0.6%-2% right? Just checking! Thank you!

Continuing a conversation from the "what flavor are you vaping now?" thread, my part of which was brought to my head by @VAPEROXX 's mention of Earl Grey Tea. I had put together a recipe a couple of months ago but never mixed it. With his advice about the level of EGT, I edited my mix and thus (below is a copy of what I posted in the other thread):

Here's what I actually mixed, and now will move this to the Daily Mixing Thread.

Brown Sugar (TPA) 1%
Earl Grey Tea (TPA) 2.6%
Ginger Ale (TPA) 3%
Holiday Spice (TPA) 0.25%
Golden Syrup (VTA) 1%
Lemongrass (Flavors Express) 2%

If it's palatable, it'll be named 'Tis Anne! Silly, but a play on the word "tisane," an herbal tea.

Going to make Naturally Extracted Basil Flavoring because it just smells and tastes so good~! My Mint was amazing so going with a Spice next round. Thinking if I should try a Tomato extract. Any thoughts?

Oh, why the hell not? Tomato is a fruit. The thing that might present a problem is that tomatoes are so acidic. But I am far from a chemist so I only say that as something for you to consider, since acids (even citric acid) have been known to do odd things to nicotine.

I can think of tomato going well with lemon, or a tart cream like Vienna, and your basil. Hell yeah, there you have the basics of a tomato basil soup, which is like the most delicious thing in the civilized world! :)

I have learned that I can vape some odd stuff, and tomato basil would probably ring my chimes just fine!

Maybe it will turn the Nicotine into DIY Salts? LMAO~!

All joking aside though that is something to consider. Since it is easy to extract from leaves I might need to grind up or dry some Tomato for it to actually work. Another issue to consider is that Tomato will go bad or rot eventually if not refrigerated.

@VAPEROXX if you like herbal tea flavors, this might be worth a try. I like it, although I do have to agree with you - I'm getting a little bit of that anise note, but I don't mind that. Hell, I vaped Hangsen Fennel juice for months and months before I began DIY. Once again, subjective.

Well I do make a black licorice juice; and I like it. I like black licorice! But not in my Earl Grey Tea... I will save your recipe and give it a go, maybe lighten up the Earl Grey a tad more, but if my taster doesn't agree with it, I'll continue the search for quality tea flavors.

Ok y'all have talked about Caramel Waffle Cappuccino until you made me curious, so I've taken a stab at it. Think I might be glad I did. This stuff is amazing.

Once again, I have never tasted the original, so this isn't supposed to be a clone. It's just my take.

CWC

Belgian Waffle (LB) 3.3%
Brazilian Coffee (WF) 1%
Butterscotch, Natural (FW) 1.2%
Caramel (FA) 0.8%
French Vanilla Deluxe (TFA) 3.3%
Maple Pecan (FW) 1.2%
Marshmallow (FA) 2%
Vanilla Whipped Cream (Cap) 2.5%

Total 15.3%

You can use it starting from .2%.. the highest I have taken it was at that time 2%.. I put it in as a simple mix with that 1.5% Strawberry Mash and Cream base at 3% and it's just too much for me.. it's a milky cream, light but tasty, not too thin, but it isn't thick cream.. play around with it :)

I was not fully awake when I wrote this! :p

Between the 2 do you have a preference? Or are they different animals? I've been wanting to try FA Premium but haven't gotten around to an order yet.

Sorry, I missed this a few weeks ago. I will definitely be using up all the Premium, unquestionably yummy, but it's surprisingly really a lot like Capella. So, both are good, but Molinberry's Legendary brings something a little more unusual. I think I already said--it's smoother, somehow. I mean, they're all three smooth, but I think of Cap vc (and similarly FA Custard P) as more of a "scratchy smooth", if that means anything at all. If you've tried Flavorah Custard, MB Legendary is like a more interesting version of that. Or maybe it's like caps mixed with flv custard. OMG, I'm so bad at this. Lol!

Tomatoes that are nor refrigerated go bad in a couple of days.

I have many years of experience growing and cooking them. Why is the produce department cold?

Do you live in a warmer climate? I'm in a temperate region and also grow tomatoes. Mine do fine in a relatively cool and dry spot out of sunlight for as long as ten days. Also, you can't crowd them and it helps to turn them occasionally so they get air all over. Most of the tomatoes at my grocery are not actually in the cool sections, but in the middle where the onions and potatoes and other stuff that doesn't need refrigeration are.

Man, your basil concentrate sounds really appealing. I never tire of the aroma! I'm going through a massive pesto phase, filling up the freezer so I can continue to grow fat on pasta in the coming months. :)

Long Island here and this Summer started off with lots of rain and then brutal heat so a few of the tomato plants didn't do well and some are loaded. The Roma Tomatoes have at least 40 per bush and I am making a nice Tomato Sauce right now~!

@SteveS45 -- I wish I could see your photos, but they're coming through as a white dash within a gray circle :(

My tomato chicken with garlic and basil didn't get the same great reception yours did, but I'm choosing to blame that on my brother and SIL's complacency rather than my cooking. :)

Oh, they ate it. Scarfed it down, in fact. I cook a lot and it gets taken for granted a little.

It came out great! I mean, how could fresh garlic, fresh tomato and fresh basil butter sauce over grilled chicken with angel hair pasta be anything but delicious?

Clear your cache is all I can say~! VU doesn't show me pics sometimes for an hour.

It's weird what happens with your pics. The other day when you posted them, I was on this laptop and could see them fine. A couple hours later I was on my tablet and could only see the dash inside the gray circle. This morning I am back on the same laptop and can only see the dash inside the gray circle.

I'm not trying to give you a hard time about it, just telling you what I see.

I think you'd have to mix it well and let it steep at least a few days. Just my opinion.

Since both were steeped then combined imo not you don’t have to steep more unless you want to for whatever reason.
