Recieved shipment of 250mg/ml freebase nic. It didnt seem right, vendor replaced it. Replacement shipment near identical to first. Is it bad? Oxidized? Am I paranoid?

it appears oxidized but it is 250 and not 100 so i'm unsure.

@Smoky Blue what do you think?

That's pretty dark, especially for having just received it, but I've seen darker. Bad? Hard to say. Me, I don't mind oxidized nic, since I like throat hit and really don't mind a slight pepper taste.

When I've gotten nic, it's pretty much clear as water, though. I've never purchased 250/ml, but I can't imagine it'd really be much different, if any.

First 250 for me, thats why I questioned it in the first place. Now that the replacement was the same I wonder.

I'd find a new vendor who knows how to store nic. I've ordered 500mg once, it had a very slight yellow tint. Everything else has been damn near clear.

Colors on one hand won't mean much, but you should not taste nicotine.
It can be light pink clear or a yllow tint.. but not that deep of a yellow tint as you are showing.

I avoid buying nic in the summer.
It gets very hot in the USPS trucks.

I was going to post the same thing and my vendor states on the Website that during the summer Nicotine can Oxidize when shipped because of the heat.

I have some 100mg per mil nic from Nude. It has gotten dark like yours but seems fine and vapes as it should. My freezer nic of the same batch is lighter in color. Can not taste a difference when vaped side by side.

And here I was worried a 3 year old bottle kept in the shipping container it came in had a little amber color~~! Made a mistake and bought a 125 ML bottle which was sitting for so long I didn't realize it was there until I needed 125 MLs of Nicotine and Oh here we go pre-measured~!

I have not tried it yet. Will have to mix a 30ml single flavor to try.
I don't think I've had Nic that dark but pretty darn close. like @Huckleberried said she likes a little TH I do as well so it probably wouldn't be that bad to me. I've yet to come across tasteless and orderless nicotine but it seems others do all the time lol

Nic will oxidize over time once exposed to air some happen faster at high nic levels. that is the color you see and if it still taste new in your juices there is nothing wrong with it

thats the thing. i just used down the og bottle. so there was ever increasing air in there. and then 70-90deg temps, but not in much light. considering, i guess that issn't "bad" looking.

Plastic lets air in and glass bottles have never changed color for me. I had a bottle of Yogurt Flavoring I never used much of that I came across before look a hell of a lot darker then I remember but any flavorings I have in the same storage box are still clear in the glass bottles. Do your own conclusion.

i now have a funnel to fill my bottles. i am going to take a little out of the freebase's i have not opened yet, to try them out.

bottles. idk why i didn't think of this = yesterday i was at the grocery. looked at a shelf, there was fruit juices in both 12 & 16 oz glass bottles.
$1 each. i see no reason why these could not be used for nic storage.
