Long time purchase

Ok so long story short my girlfriend letting me do a big purchase on vape related gear but it will be the last vape for 3-4 years. I am unsure what to get and have looked everywhere and can't decided what to do.
I posted in here maybe so what ideas what people would get if they got 500 to spend on vape related stuff at once.
I'm interested in hearing everybody thoughts and opinions from Regulated to mechs, from coil building to diy eliquid, even from 22mm kayfun lite to a Valhalla on a HoG. I have 500 to spend and would like helping deciding on what to get and see what other people feel about things. Please help I've been browsing everything non stop for well over 2 weeks. I get to make the purchase at the end of the month.

Laying everything on me
Thanks again all.

Why does it all have to be purchased at once? I'm not sure $500 would last 3-4yrs if it's meant to pay for mods, batteries, juice and the whole shebang. If it's just the mod that needs to last that long, most likely a mech. Not saying regulated wouldn't but chances seem slim. Even mechs will need some help, cleaning, may need spare magnets or something for the switch. I only use regulated personally, even high dollar $100-200+ regulated mods I wouldn't expect to last that long. They may but it can be a crap shoot. May last 6mo, a year, 3 years, 3mo before it decides to no longer work.

Things like batteries typically don't last 3yrs, more like 1-2yrs maybe. Not a good idea to stock up ahead of time, batteries don't last forever even without being used. Better off buying fresh new ones when needed rather than buy like 12 batteries, using 2 or 4 at a time and leaving the others to sit for 2-3 years. Same with juice, it has a shelf life. Buying 3 gallons of juice now, it likely won't be good in 2-3yrs even if stored someplace dark and really cool like the fridge. Nicotine oxidizes. Holds true for diy supplies as well, people usually advise against buying a big bulk of concentrated nic. Instead preferably to buy smaller amounts that will be used up within a few months and buy fresh.

Diy ejuice is definitely cheaper. It has it's ups and downs, can be a little tricky sorting it out. I've had a mostly good experience the past few months I've been doing diy but I have realistic expectations. I haven't had to throw any out for being too nasty but not all are winners. Meaning if you're used to oreo cookies but have never made cookies before, don't expect to just buy some flour, sugar and chocolate powder and presto, something just like an oreo. Doubt it would even come out as polished as a store brand sandwich cookie (oreo knockoff).

Far as the mods themselves go, I've had mods that have all lasted me a year of steady use. The most expensive was $42, the others were like $26-30 each found good sales on them. So it's possible at that rate to get a few inexpensive or on sale regulated mods, enough to last 3-4 years with that $500 and have some money left over for batteries, juice, cotton and wire etc. A quality mech you're looking more around the $180-250 range for one mod.

It would be helpful to know what your vape style is and what kind of vaping you like to do. Moreover, it would be good to know what kind of knowledge you have on vaping and rebuildables. I know exactly which setup I would buy for +/- $500 and it get used daily for the next 3-5 years but probably wouldn't recommend it to someone else.

Ya sorry probly wasent very clear I was pretty tired last night it's not my last purchase as it is more my last big purchase. New battery's here and there are fine as is getting a eliquid here or there. She did put her foot down though on buying any more mods, and atomizer as well as any large purchases at once.

I did not include my vape style because I want to be open minded to what people posted and see what everyone prefers.
As for vaping experience im good I've got quite a bit of knowledge in various things so if your worried on posting let's say a deathwish Baphoment you don't need to be.

Comp Lyfe Pirahna, copper with a Raw Titaium Alpha cap in 21700 and a BD24 deck with silver posts and screws. Then grab a trinity cap just for giggles.

Hmm maybe I'm thinking about seeing if I can find a 22mm mech tube though to pair with a kayfun 22 lite 2019 and look into maybe starting diy eliquids instead

I mean I'm not going to rain on anyone's parade. There are some beautiful mods out there, one of a kind hand crafted stabwood etc. Can I see me paying $300+ for one? Hell no lol. For one it's out of my budget, for another.. idk I just can't see doing it. It won't vape any better. Some come out here and there that interest me but nothing I've 'gotta have'. I'm not into collecting or showcasing my stuff, just needs to be functional.

I'd prefer to buy something middle of the road or even discounted and save the rest for a rainy day. Like my last mod, the eclipse. I'd seen it when it first came out, was like $80-90. It's been on sale again since but a few months ago I snagged it for like $26 shipped. Needed some wire, waited until lightning vapes was running a father's day sale and picked up $60 of wire for $40 with their 30% off. Spreading out my purchases and not 'needing' anything I can usually take advantage of sales. Those two sales alone saved me around $85. Just my thoughts on it, not trying to tell you what to buy or how to spend your cash.

In the 3 yrs or so I've been vaping I've ended up with one iffy backup mod (known issue of the fire button breaking), 3 other working mods. A few rda's, an rdta, a few tanks. Batteries aside, things like orings, spare glass, wire and other incidentals, just the main bits of mods and atty's I think I've spent $250 total. Just not all in one shot. None of my stuff is fancy or 'high end' in the least, but I get good flavor off my vape. My mods perform well with pretty much all the features besides dna's 'replay'. Accurate temp control, wattage curves, temp curves, bypass. Juice was already cheaper than smoking and now that I'm getting into diy it's no contest. Even smoking cheap cigs, 2pk a day - that was $150 a month easy. Making coils and using cotton pads, wick and coils run me around $1.20/mo, juice costs around $1/30ml to make.

God mod overlord. With a jwill custom finish. You'd have a one of a kind tube mech. He does beautiful work. Or maybe something stabwood. Depends on if you're comfortable enough to carry it out of the house. Some of my higher end mods are home use only

I'd buy mostly mechanical squonkers (preferably ones that can hold at least a 20700, but also a couple of Ram Stentorian boxes, metal Coppervape squonkers, and Vandy Vape Pulse mechanicals) and single-coil clone RDAs from FastTech. Radius V2, O-Atty, Pocket RDA, 5a's Basic 1.1, Reload S, Entheon.

Then a couple of Asmodus C4 and Wotofo Elder Dragon RDAs. Possibly a couple of Wasp Nanos.. A couple of Intake and Zeus and OBS Engine RTAs. An Aegis Legend or two. A Squid Detonator or two.

Wire and cotton and mixing supplies, decent coil-building tools. Good batteries with some extras. A 4-bay intelligent charger and maybe a backup..

I own all these pieces except the Entheon and would buy them again without hesitation. Nothing fancy here, but if you're trying to make $500 last for years for gear, you're going to have to be smart in what you choose and how much you pay for every piece of it.
