Single Flavors You've Tried Recently

They've been doing this on other platforms and I'd rather share my thoughts about them here.
A lot of us make samples of the flavors we buy. Share your thoughts about them here. I've somtimes done this in the daily mixing thread. But the notes get buried pretty quick.
You don't have to get all specific (about your wire and testing rig) but if you'd like to that's great. I'll start, but I'm not that great at picking out subtleties, or even putting my thoughts to words sometimes. I'm not the most thorough but I'll try to give you an idea if what I'm tasting.

Hopefully the notes we post can help others make wiser or even better purchases. People getting the new releases can tell everyone if they did or didn't like them. People getting obscure flavors can let everyone know how it tastes.. you get the idea..

This isn't about full on "flavor reviews". If you could drop a couple of sentences, that's better than nothing.

I'm not going to repost my thoughts on flavors I've done in the past but you can feel free to do so.

When posting about a flavor, the BOLD font helps the reader. I like to post the abbreviation of the flavor company first. *If you're new, and don't know what the intials stand for, this link has all the abbreviations for flavor companies*-http://vapingunderground.com/threads/rps-master-list-of-diy-flavor-supplier-abbreviations.38743/
So in BOLD, company abbreviation, then the name of the flavor, and at what percentage I sampled it at. Examples below-

SC- Mango (from Bullcity) @2%
I've always heard about this as being a good one. Some people claim it fades and hint about alcohol. If it fades dramatically, I'll know...maybe lol. I tried it about an hour after mixing and it tastes really nice. I don't get kuch of the piney or spicy notes people talk about. It's just a really good tasting mango flavor at this point. It's plenty strong at 2%.

VT- Shisha Mango @2%
This is another good tasting mango flavor. The potency seems to be on par with the SC Mango. To tell you the truth I have a hard time telling the difference. SC Mango didn't seem dry, but in comparison it seems that way. This flavor might be a bit "juicer". A more refined palate might be able to tell you more. I like it is all I know.

INW- Purple Blush @2%
I was expecting a Forrest Fruit-esque flavor here. But smelling it, grape was the main aroma. It's a really good flavor. Grape lovers will enjoy this. It's that grape or "purple" flavor, but underneath it is a jammy mixed berry kind of thing going on. It gives the grape some body and complexity. I've had flat tasting grape flavors and thin ones too. This one isn't. It isn't dry either, like I said whatever is going on under the grape really makes it good.

I'm sorry to say, I haven't mixed INW-Grape solo. I'm going to have to now, Im curious how much they differ. I've only got that one mainly to mix grack juice.

INW- Dragon Fruit 2%
This is a really fruity flavor. I hadn't heard of dragon fruit until I started mixing. So I have no idea what they really taste like. Every time I take a drag it tastes really bright, like a fruity bubble gum flavor. I have no idea how to describe this other than bright and really fruity. By "fruity", I mean just random fruitiness. I can't compare it to anything really. I like it I guess. It could probably add some mystery to other fruits at low percentages.

FLV- Cranberry @ .6%
A nice cranberry flavor is there, but it's pretty light tasting at this percentage. I mean the vapor doesn't really taste like anything. But it leaves a cranberry flavor aftertaste. I'll wait a bit and re-try it. If it hasn't changed, I'll use more flavoring. I'll update this when I can taste it better.

WF- Creme Brulee Cookies @ 2%
This might be a bit too soon. I only mixed it yesterday. I had to try it though because of how good it smelled. It's a light fluffy pastry and it's very sweet.. like surprisingly sweet. It's got a nice vanilla flavors to it. I'll update this after it matures.

FA Hazelnut @ 1.6%
This is really nice. It's an actual nut flavor. That's all it is. TFA's is sweet and creamy with a little bit of hazel. FW is full on coffee creamer hazelnut. I used to eat these as a kid from a bush. This flavor reminds me more of the bar style filbert nuts they throw in drinks.

CAP Raspberry V2 @ 6%
I'm almost certain I've found the main flavor in my "White whale" e liquid. It's a floral raspberry flavor. The eliquid is supposed to be a slush but I never thought it tasted like one. When I started mixing I was on a mission to find what was in it. I always thought it was maybe a floral type flavor. Well here it is. I'm pretty sure nobody here has tried Propaganda Blue Slushee or even cares about it lol. But I've always liked it and might not ever buy it again. I can get this really close I'm sure.

My two all time favorites are the flv wild melon and Peach Gummy. I tried WF peach gummy but it doesn't come close to Flv taste. I mix a 2-3% depending on my mood and those two never disappoint. They are full of flavor. The WF peach gummy was lacking in flavor. My taste: it was flat and had a aftertaste of sucrolose.

I only got a 10ml of the FLV wild melon, wish I'd gotten a bigger one. I still have plenty, but I will need more eventually. I never tried the peach gummy, but I'm not a huge fan of peach just on it's own.

FW Butterbeer @ 6%
I had no idea what Butterbeer was when I ordered this, today I realized it had to do with Harry Potter. Info here https://harrypotter.fandom.com/wiki/Butterbeer ...
The only way I can describe it is a light creamy butterscotch. If you are old enough it reminds me of Reeds Butter Rum candy.
My grandpa always had a bowl of those by his chair.

I didn't know that. But I think Flovorah has a bread flavor that's on Lord of the Rings.

WF Banana Candy @2% In the eight years of my diy adventures I never wanted to try a banana flavoring..until recently. I mix 50/50 due to health issues with the VG. At 2% this flavor does taste similar to a banana runt. I think it could use a % hike to 3%. I plan on it next mix. It already has plenty of sucrolose in the flavor. No need to add. This would be slightly better if they toned down the sweetener a bit. However, its a fun flavor for me. I really enjoy tobacco and variants.

ALL NEW WONDER FLAVORS TESTED AT 3% (steeped 7 days)

WF Creme Brule Cookie @3% - I like this one. There is a cookie base there and I like it. It isn't quite as crunchy as FA cookie or as dry as INW biscuit. It's like a generic cookie. The creme brule note here is subtle, but definitely there. It isn't quite as tangy as your VT Creme Brule. Honestly I really like what they did because this doesn't taste like Creme Brule and cookies it tastes like an actual Creme Brule Cookie. I might push this one up to 4% if I want it to be the star and if I wanted just the cookie base I'd maybe go down to 2 or 2.5%

WF Lemon Square @3% - This might be my favorite one of the bunch. The lemon note is light on the inhale, but present, and comes through quite nicely on the exhale. It is bright, realistic, and not too sweet. The dough here is what I love about it. If you have ever had a good lemon square the dough is nice and moist and gooey. You get that sensation on this one. I made a mix with this and included a little FA graham crust to boost the dough and it is great. This could very easily be a one shot flavor at this %.

WF Gooey Marshmallow @3% - So I tested this one off the shake and was very disappointed. After 7 days it is definitely much better. It is quite sweet and I wasn't expecting that, but it does bring a nice density and actually has more than just sweetness. It has a nice marshmallow taste. It really reminds me of fluff. IDK if any of you non-new englanders will know what that is, but it is a marshmallow spread. There isn't any toasted notes here. It is straight up gooey, sticky, sweet marshmallow. Pretty good at this % but I might take it down to 1.5 or 2% to see if some of that sweetness goes away.

WF Strudel @3% - This one is a gem and is quite the opposite of the cobbler. This brings an excellent strudel pastry dough to the party and not much apple. The dough is perfect. Just like you would expect from a strudel. In the same vein as a good apple pie dough. not sweet, but there is a hint of cinnamon. What i really loved is the brown sugar note and texture. It is spot on. It brings a great depth to the dough. This will be extremely useful. It is good at this percentage, but I might hike it up to 5% and see if I can find that apple.

WF Cobbler @3% - A little disappointed here. I was hoping for a nice crunchy cobbler effect and it just isn't there. What is there is a delicious berry. This reminds me a lot of FLV Jammy Berry. It's a mixed berry, prominent on the raspberry, that has a nice jammy sweetness to it. The flavor that is there is excellent, just not what I hoped for. I will definitely bring this up to like 5% and see if that cobbler is hiding in there somewhere.

also, @Just Frank since you started this thread, you should add some "guidelines" to standardize the way people post their single flavor reviews. such as using FLV for Flavorah or WF for Wonder Flavors or RF, etc. However you want to do it, but it will be awesome when this thread grows to be able to do a find on the page and search for a specific brand or flavoring rather than having to scroll through all the posts to find it. This could be a great tool.

WF Brown Sugar Cookie @3% - I liked this one a lot too. It has the same cookie base as the Creme Brule Cookie and the brown sugar note is quite nice. It isn't overbearing or extremely sweet. I like this one a lot.

WF Sugar Cone @ 3% - I don't think this taste quite like a sugar cone. I don't really know how to put my finger on it. It is a good taste and it has a crunch sugary quality to it. I think it could benefit from a little waffle. Maybe some FW Waffle cone or something of that like. All in all a useful flavor for a few different things.

WF Cream Filling @3% - This is exactly as described. Sweet creamy filling. Like an oreo almost. It isn't buttercream or a milky cream. It is sugary creamy filling. Very tasty. Very useful. Put this in an oreo recipe I just came up with and am steeping.

WF Coffee Cake @3% - this is quite easily my favorite of the bunch. So I was hoping for a drakes style coffee cake and that is not at all what this is. It is coffee and cake and cream. It is delicious. The cake features nicely against a coffee that is not too overwhelming. It reminds me of fluffy white cake, Brazilian coffee, and some buttercream frosting all mixed together at just the right balance.

I will post it here too. Health cabin pound cake. 2-3%. Really dense, and buttery. Caramel type of sweetness. I can't taste lemon, and it is awesome on its own, but I used it to mix up a quick carrot cake as I am out of yellow cake. This is not like yellow cake. It's moist, and I think would have a lot of pitepoten in recipes. Is this too much like a review, or this what you mean?

FA Juicy Strawberry: delicious natural strawberry like you'd pick from the plant at peak ripeness. Mixed 3-5% this is my favorite strawberry flavoring, a perfect balance between the red outer with the white inner berry. If you love a ripe strawberry, you’ll love this.

JF Sweet Strawberry: this flavoring is a more generic synthetic strawberry flavor. It tastes just like strawberry Bubble Yum. I love mixing this with the FA Juicy Strawberry to end up with a nice balance of the natural and artificial strawberry flavor which adds depth to the mix. 3-5% this is my second favorite strawberry flavoring and both of these are great on their own or mixed with other fruits. This is similar to CAP sweet strawberry but better and lasts longer.

Really?!? I find that crazy. To me it taste exactly like strawberry jam. I don't get anything like bubble gum. It is crazy how we all taste such different things.

I just double checked to make sure it was JF sweet strawberry and it is. Maybe you are using it at a higher % maybe because that can effect flavor. I use it at 3-5% but yea I taste strawberry bubble yum to a T. Interesting it’s perceived so different from one person to another.

I've actually never used it over 2% and maybe that is why. Usually right at 2% is where I like it.

I really like this flavor and the new Mango Tango both are flavors I don't normally care for in vapes but both I could vape solo and enjoy.

I recently got these two and enjoy both. The mango tango is delightful paired with orange and dragon fruit. Also liking MB pink lady. One of my favorite new flavors is purple rain, lovely violet with vanilla. Wish bcf carried FA violet as well.

CAP Yellow Peach @ 4%
I was expecting something different. Their Juicy Peach was one of my first flavors. Yellow Peach is just a more mellow Juicy Peach. I've never tasted a peach that tastes like these flavors. It's as if the flavor creator is from another galaxy, and this is what their peaches taste like. I dunno, this might be more of a candle scent. They're not bad but not peach, or very strange tasting peaches to me. I've never tasted a candy like this either.

Capella Juicy Lemon @ 2%
It's a soft very mellow lemon flavor at this percentage.. a little strange tasting. I'll have to pump it up but feel like I already know what'll happen. I'm still going to revisit this though.

Capella Blueberry @ 6%
I get nothing. It's not strait VG but not blueberry either.

Capella Blueberry Cotton Candy @6%
I can barely taste this one too. Maybe a faint glimpse of blue razz on the tail end but not good tasting. I kinda knew this when I ordered it. I'm trying to clone something and just trying various Capella flavors. This is not worth getting to try solo.

CAP Dragon Fruit @ 4%
I've never eaten a dragon fruit before. To tell you the truth, I never heard of it until reading about them here. It's not like TFAs DF. It's more like INW but way less powerful, and it's softer. That might be better if you want it to be less intrusive.

VT Sugar Loaf @ 2%
It's pineapple and a good one. Some companies F this one up, VT didn't. I have their Pineapple Juice flavor too from a while back. You should skip that one because this is so much better. I'm horrible at flavor description but trust me. It's better than a lot I've tried. It's already been reported so probably nothing new here.

FA Blood Orange @ 2%
Pretty nice tasting orange flavor but I get a lot of the outside peel flavor. When I was a kid I'd bit into oranges without peeling them and that oil flavor is what I'm talking about. It's not really pleasant but strangely addicting to me. Not sure if that part steeps out yet but maybe.

WF Star Fruit @ 2%
There's no way I can describe this. It's a fruit I'm not familiar with. It doesn't have any major off notes or anything like that.

WF Fruit Salad @ 2%
It's random soft fruitiness at this %. I can taste a bit of strawberry but the rest is random. Not good but not bad.

WF Boysenberry/Raspberry @2%
I think that's what it's called, or maybe it's the other way around. It smells awesome. When I first tried it, it was the same way. My mom used to make raspberry jam. When it was on the stove it smelled up the whole house. This flavor tasted a lot like that. I flew right through 10ml. So I made 10 more with some sweetener. I tried it in another tank and the boysenberry was way more evident this time. So I'm guessing it can taste differently in different atty's. I'll keep trying to figure it out because this is a really good flavor.

TFA Sweet Strawberry @ 4%
It's good. It's not like their Strawberry Ripe. It's probably a bit more artificial but a bit riper or darker. It doesn't have that EM thing going on which is nice. The closest I can describe it is, it tastes like a sundae suyrup with dark strawberries in it. That's what it makes me think of anyways.

FA Blood Orange @ 2%
The flavor settles into a nicely balanced orange after a couple weeks. One I use often as an orange, I don't really get blood orange from it but a good orange with some zest after a steep. Try with a bare hint of mango and it really shines.I like FA blood orange 2, INW mango tango 0.5, INW shisha raspberry 1.3. If I want this profile a little more in your face CAP sweet tangerine 2, SC mango 1.5, FA berryl 1.3. Both are good with a pineapple added.

I almost forgot to order from Bullcity. But I did use the code this evening for a bunch of new flavors. I'll post my impressions after I've had a chance to try em out.

After I ordered I started mixing some stuff. I noticed a couple of key flavors I use are low. Checked my inventory and no spares either. Good greif I hate that. I never learn but I guess that's okay. It gives me an excuse to make another BCF order pretty soon lol.
