That's been the problem with it since day one, man. Vapes great, leaks like a sieve. It was really fun experimenting with that huge deck though. I got some of my best results with an SS quad coil build in it. They were 2mm ID with 28 or 30 gauge wire IIRC. You can squeeze some pretty crazy set-ups in there.
I basically never acknowledged the internal JFC. Seemed like a nearly useless gimmick to me. I just used it as a guide for wicking. Pics look great, great choice of mod for it. Smoant has made some tough, reliable, but still affordable, stuff.
