Ahhh! The 510 is in the wrong place on that mod! ;) lol

No idea on DTs... my tiny FT ones work perfectly

You never said if you enjoyed the coffee? :D
OMG Don that coffee was great! IIRC, it was very rich and earthy. Dark chocolate and almost a bit of a red wine note. Awesome!

That reminds me that I need to roast tomorrow and get some of mine out to you. I have a few orders to fill too

Yeah, I am a sucker for coffee...but yellow honey process Pacamara is my absolute favorite.

Have some red honey Icatu and it’s friggn awesome...came in today and I think I drank at least 4 cups (16oz)

Trying to find some Black Honey process, but I think that stuff is super rare since not many like to have the beans sit for so long to have the Mucilage ferment.

But it adds so much depth with the added sugars

Thinking of brewing another cup, but afraid I’m already going to be up til 2am

I haven't made a vape related purchase in a week. Yes, I'm just as shocked as everyone else.

Although I'm waiting on a FT order and the Taifun GTR to be delivered...
And I have a bunch offlavors in my cart at Nic River...
And a cart full at FT...
And I want to get in on a waffle for a NRC Titan...

Honestly if I had to pick coffee or beer, it's coffee all day.

Honey process is the best of both worlds, IMO. It had those roasty, chocolatey notes while still having a good fruit note to balance. Most well rounded coffee processing technique I think. Problem is that it's not typically offered much from my supplier.

And where on God's green earth are you getting this coffee from? My unsophisticated taste buds are perfectly happy with the Blue mountain mix, medium roast from Costco. Considering I start my day with a 32 oz cup and go thru three (usually) cups a day, I buy three bags a month but I think I need to get more since my better half discovered she likes it too - two regular size cups a day for her.

It’s expensive brew; when I purchase coffee it’s normally in bulk, but not like Costco bulk, but many bags at once

The current coffee is from Klatch Coffee in LA...think the closest one to you is in Upland... $14 a bag (12oz)

The stuff I sent to Jim was also from Klatch, but was yellow honey process Pacamara. ($15/12oz)

My all time favorite is out of season at the moment, it’s from Bird Rock roasters here in San Diego...

https://www.birdrockcoffee.com/coll...ts/franciscos-pacamara?variant=15929410879531

Then this from them also

https://www.birdrockcoffee.com/coll.../yellow-honey-pacamara?variant=16211531366443

I bought 5lbs of both

Wife and I were at little Italy and went to BR one day after eating Crack Shack (Chicken Joint) and Bird Rock was across the Street, I went in and ordered a cup...left with 10lbs of coffee

Since the Francisco Reserve, I’ve been hunting down all Honey Process I can get my hands on, but it’s running out...

Going to be a sad sad day when I have to go back to what I used to drink which is still a 97 ranked coffee

They just came out with a few new sets. 1500/2200, 2200/3000 and 3000/glass face. I ordered the 2200/3000, planning on replacing the glass on my 1500 with the 2200 and putting the glass (6 micron DLF) on the 3000 handle. My progression would be 1500/2200, 3000/6 micron dlf, 3 micron/1.5 micron dlf, 1 micron/0.1 micron dlf and then stropping .....which I haven't gotten to yet but I have the set and no time to play with.

Nice!

I go to 1500 sometimes which is about 4-5 Micron and strop with DMT 3, 1, .5 on separate strops.

I would like to get the diamond films that do 1800-100k grit progressions... but I can get sharp enough for my needs with the DMT 1500 stone and strops.

As I recall the 1000 WE stone is about 6 micron and their 1500 is 4 micron already... I would think going to 2200 would be about 2-3 Micron and 3000 being near 1-2 micron... you still need that strop progression? Seems like extra work?

I'm not keen on WE's grit/micron ratings... just going off what I remember when I was thinking about grabbing it over the KME

Most probably I don't really need it but it becomes a cathartic experience and it relieves stress....unless you muck it up and have to step back a few grits. I haven't done any stropping even though I have the sets, I waited for the stone covers first and then I got really busy with work so they'll have to wait for now. I will eventually have a day off and get to play. I will say that even with my low skill level, the knives are sharper than they have ever been.

I do enjoy sitting there sharpening... its relaxing.

I might pick up the DLFs for the KME... its $135 and takes it from 9 Micron down to .125 Micron. It would eliminate me having to do anything but a single pass with the Balsa Strop, rather than my 3 strop hand progression now

Just not sure if I want to succumb to the "Mirror Finish" bug... I just need sharp ;)

I only open boxes and mail... not sure I "Need" .1 Micron mirror finish for that LOL

Yeah... still has the same shitty mosfet that squeels when used with anything .5Ω or below.

But since its marketed now as a MTL device, his shitty mosfet should perform fine...since the voltage loss was nominal above .7Ω.

Mrs. Seismograph felt it first, me....not so much! If it ain't shakin' the house, I'm fine with it. I'd rather have a bunch of little ones than one bigun!

@~Don~, is anyone having a sale on M390 type blades for the 4th? I haven't seen anything besides Lamnia.

Haven’t looked, doubt it though. Still putting pennies away for my next knife

There is the Spyderco Delica in M390

So has anyone else seen that nifty coin holder that Todd uses for his BB Boro nut?
I want something similar that I can put on my keychain. Any suggestions?

William Grey beard on FB is making some but he only really makes them at his leisure. I'm looking for something cheaper haha!
It's made by MM Vapors but they don't have them listed on their website. It's also made of juma and I don't need/want anything that fancy.
