The .84 sounds nice, would probably space coil slightly but hmmm, I really like this atty, amazing flavour and I haven't turned my new coil up yet, 8 watts on a 1.5 ohm kanthal clapton, I will run it at 12 to 15 watts but this rocks

Not bad for a 3+ year old atty huh ;)

I run mine purely loose DL... 1.5mm af at 14w .

Today for some odd reason I am trying coils again... not sure why, I normally like 28x40 2mm 5/6 wrap N80 Claptons @ .9Ω... but I made some 28g twisted... that actually wasn't all that bad... might try 30g twisted... right now rocking a 26g 5/6 wrap 2mm N80 at .5Ω at 14w and its a joy... probably step it down to the 1.2 af hole with this coil though... proving a tad looser than it was with a clapton, since its not occupying as much area.

Now with those new AF inserts... not sure anyone would notice .84 to the .8... or the 1.04 to the 1...etc. they are within a hundredth of what is already available... volume wise.

Will it cause a perceivable difference in draw... I can't see it doing so... I will concede though that it could focus air flow differently and have a change in flavor... have to try it myself I guess when they are available and when I order another Dvarw

Wow, absolutely zero attention on the Skyline via FB and I've got it posted in a couple groups.

I figured that sucker wouldn't last more than a couple hours.

Just a heads up for those looking for an authentic Dvarw MTL! Stratum (based out of Massachusetts) will have them in stock sometime tomorrow. I'm sure they'll go stupid fast, but you can sign up for notifications and create an account in advance so you can check out quickly.

Can't decide if I'm happy or sad I missed it....o_O
I'm sure they were gone in seconds. F5 wars... are you in the KHW FB group? I could always throw my name in on the next rando for you to increase your chances (x3 because I have three accounts )

No harm done, I'm perfectly happy with the Dvarws, Supersonics and Odis 16's. I'm still trying to figure out a nice, tight MTL pod-like thingamagig but I think in the end I'll just get a couple of Bantams. They and the BBs should keep me happy for a good while.

The Caliburn gets a good look for MTL. Not sure if it's as tight as you like though.

Since you have a MF bridge, try the EUC coil with the single hole delrin adapter. That's my preferred mtl draw, or the VA Cyclone pre-drilling out or the Chalice 2 or Chalice 3 almost closed down. If that Caliburn thing draws like that, I'm there, if not.....Bantam here I come.....well, not yet, I just bought a couple of puukkos from Finland.

Thanks, not 100% sure I want an authentic. I'll join in the group and give it some thought...

Only get an authentic if you are in no way stressed by paying authentic prices.

Otherwise save your cash for another Dvarw clone, ya know for spare parts etc.
No stress, I'm just tumbling down the BB hole ATM, my cash is trailing behind me...
Can't really see any light from the surface anymore.....
Going to work on my vapeshell build a bit today.

2mm plain jane wire 5-7 wrap...which ever af insert you like... 12-18w ;)
My usual is a slight space 2.5 SS 28/38 around .8 not really feeling it here...
I don't have the mtl inserts so I was jacking with that spinny wheel.....
Gonna try a SS 28 contact with the mtl plug from troydestroy.
Will make it a 2mm, thanks

Better but I need it tighter...need the mtl inserts, thinking about an authentic to go along with them.
My clone fits a little wonky, drives me crazy. Anyone have an authentic, how's the fit?

I've had both and the authentic is much better with regards to fit. The shell fits together with a satisfying click

Yeah that's part of the reason I decided to seek out the authentic. That drove me nuts and I had dry hits like crazy with it. No such issues with the real deal.

No dry hits, wicked like big head Todd and pushed the wick up just a smidge after juicing, plenty of bubbles. But the fit......will give me fits.
Gonna work with it a bit, make sure I like it.

Probably and Definitely
Gamblers term for that would be a push.

Hey guys I'm looking for an AIO option and the billet is what really piqued my interest. I mainly vape rdl/mtl with a kayfun, rose3 and pico by yellowkiss and as much as I love my mod + tanks i would love something more discreet. I also like the slow rampup of dna chips and thoroughly enjoyed a Orion dna go, but I gave that away to my brother. I would like something rebuildable that would hit like my pico v2 would the vapeshell work? So you recommend on getting an sxk version first and see if I like it? Also I vape using temp control, so I would feel gimped without escribe

The SXK DNA 60 is likely a better bet, as far as bridges go, I'm stuck on MF bridges (easier to find chicken's teeth now unfortunately) hopefully another of the usual culprits will chime in. I like a very restricted draw so all of the regular/common bridges were a bit too loose draws for me. This is your best get of finding one since even the SXK BB is getting scarce https://www.gascityvapes.com/produc...e-dna-60-with-usb-port?variant=15933157048392

Yeah man thanks a lot, for rebuildable options what should I be looking for? I'm from Asia and there's quite a bit of cloned billet boxes, but it's hard to find authentics (hard to find authentic bb boro tanks and bridges). I was interested in the vapeshell with reducers and hit up atmizoo if they ship to Indonesia but no reply just yet. Yes I will be getting a dna 60 sxk. does the sxk borro tank leak?

The ones I have do, I ended up ordering them from Billet Box Vapor along with two authentic BB. Other members here say they didn't have that problem, I guess it depends on how lucky you are? All I can tell you is that if you want to buy one, get it now since they are getting scarce and prices are going up. You might try the Insider MTL bridge, it is decent but too much air for me (like I told you I like a very tight MTL draw) but it will be fine for RDL draws.
EDIT: In my opinion, the SXK BB is a better value since it has the built in usb port, the authentics do not. I found very little difference between SXK and authentics, color, panels fit and thickness...operationally, the SXK is solid. Theone main difference is that the SXK doesn't have the little gasket in the chip compartment so if your liquid leaks, you'll end up with a fried chip.

Yeah probably gonna get that and if I like it get the internal battery with dna75c. The delro if I'm not mistaken. The steam tuners insider do look nice, also a bit loose for my liking. How about the crossbow?

Gate MTL arrived yesterday. Bitch was coated in machine oil. Ran it through my USC five times to get it clean.

Quick review:
Good flavor, easy build, quality fit and finish. Top fill, glass tank, flexible airflow due to control ring and both 0.8mm and 1.5mm airflow inserts. Nice alternative to the high end RTAs we all rave about. Dvarw killer? Hardly, but still a very good beater for $40.

If you could only buy one atty (yeah, right:huh:) and you had to choose between Dwarv clone and Gate, which one would you choose?

Dvarw all day. Simpler design which means less to go wrong, looks more elegant IMO, and it has a flat cap. I hate having to try and match the diameter of those damn raised drip tip nubs.
If my budget were more strict I would, however, be happy with the Gate.

Telling ya... for a 3 year old atty... the Dvarw is really good...authentic or clone...really can't go wrong with either.

I want other attys, but I know and also know better...the Dvarw just ticks every box (except availability now) for me.

Has the flexibility in draw, simplicity...flat top to use my own drip tips without looking silly.

I might order another from China+ another pico for back up to the back ups-back up lol

So the question is do I order an Atmizoo Tripod or try for another Dvarw?

Kafirs Illusia SX350J is where it will sit

As much as I like high end mods... nothing really beats the price point of a pico

Since you have the Evl ;)

My vote would be another Dvarw...but do you need a 3rd?

Technically I have 3 bc of the clone but they're all in use. Someone threw suggested a Taifun GTR but I'll have to do a little more research before that becomes a contender.

Very nice but I'm not sure about the insigo blade.....I'll just have to buy a cheap sheep's foot folder and see how I like the blade.....

To me the Insingo blade is the most utilitarian blade out there. Outside of the Tanto from CRK, it has more meat behind the tip.

I like Drop points also... really the only blade shape I don't care for is the Tanto lol

Was just a really decent price for a PJ Inkosi - I wrestled with purchasing it the past day.

So restrictor plate top fill caps for the dvarw... that drip tip seems nice, but I know for a fact its going to be a condensation catcher due to the internal taper you can see
