Zeus x rtA

Hey there ppl )
Im pretty new to all the diy and rta stuff, so I need your help guys )
Not long ago i got my zeus x rta and i have some issue with it.
I cannot say that it spitsback, because i allready figured out that it was a too thin wick that made those spits, so i rewicked with a thicker wick and its gone. But, when I inhale I still can feel liquids coming up to my mouth... it feels like overflooding or something, i dont know. When im finishing inhaling theres too much flavor in my mouth. Its like the vapor is not dry. Its extremly wet and full with liquids..
Any ideas please?

I run the zeus x with a coilology 0.22 ohm clapton coil on an about 55-65w. With an ijoy 100 capo. Standart 70/30 liquids.

Any suggestions will help. Thx in advance.

are you experiencing leaking?

but then it’s top airflow so that’s harder to diagnose with leaking ...does it gurgle then or if you blow out there is juice spitting out of the airflow ...that’s a sure sign of wicking problems still

other than that top cap is not done up properly,

you could try adjust wattage

coils are positioned too high

cotton in threads, or a seal issue somewhere on the deck

Thx for the reply.
Few more questions then please.
How much is not too high for the coils? As i know they should not touch the deck, am i right? How high above they should be? 1-2mm?

When i adjust wattage its help but only for time. For examp, i start on 65, fells still wet, goes to 55, its helps, but after a short time its come back again...

When i blow in, theres juice on the airflow holes, but its a veeerrryyy little amount, i mean tiny drops are gettiong out. Tiny.

Ill chech later the cotton on threads issue, but the last time i rewicked, didnt saw any cotton on the threads when i closed the chimney...

I haven’t actually got this tank to break it down ...Vic normally does a good job of wicking demonstrations skip ahead to 10:36

Briefly watching this I suspect there is a pressure effect when refilling ...problem with the dam method is it’s very easy to dislodge cotton causing a gap which will cause over-saturation

It’s really important you don’t have any cotton in the threads...reverse screw the chamber first before doing it up

Could try trailing a little bit of cotton into the juice well as well rather than just damming in top

Try not refilling the whole way up and Make sure that top cap is done up fully see if this helps, you might find after first filling it spits for the first few hits ...this should wear off

dual fused Clapton’s you should be good about 60w-70w

I got a mouthful of juice just yesterday from my original Zeus. I had overfilled it.

The other thing that can happen that I don't think has been mentioned is that it is possible to have airflow too restricted. If you draw hard on the tank then, you can pull a great deal of juice up into the chimney.
