So another sub has been discovered for INW Waffle.....Sasami Waffle Dough. It’s the closest to INW Waffle that I’ve found so far. I’m going to mix this with Sasami and see how it goes. It was good with LB, but I’m thinking it could be even better.....<3

Please let me know how this recipe turns out with that Sasami. I'll be in the market for a waffle flavoring soon, Was thinking LB, but after you'll have made this recipe with both, you'll be in the know on which one to get! Right now I'm vaping some of this I made in January. I still like this one a lot. :)

I've been looking for a great French toast.. going to give this a whirl soon.

What about subbing CAP Super Sweet for TFA Sweetener? Only asking because that's what I already have.

Thanks Howard! I'm placing an ingredients order this week so I'll get the TFA as your recipe calls for. Really looking forward to mixing this up. Thank you for sharing!
Let me know what you think of it! :D

Ingredients ordered! I had to sub CAP Golden Butter for FA butter, I also have TFA Butter on hand. Alsu subbed LB Belgian Waffle for INW Waffle.

Judging from everyone's comments here, this one is a winner, really looking forward to this. I recently bought some Crumbz Flakey French which knocked my socks off and have been looking for a quality DIY recipe.

I'd probably bump up the butter to 1% if I were using CAP Golden Butter. I have no experience with the LB BW, but I know @wildgypsy70 does & she was also going to mix it using the Sesami Waffle Dough too. I'm waiting to hear how that turns out. Once my INW is gone I'll have to move on to one of them!

I followed your sub suggestion with the Cap butter at 1% and it was spot on..... used LB waffle and it's a good mix, used all 100ml and was happy but will admit I may play with it some.... didn't seem to be enough waffle for me, but still good!

Edit: that was in an RDA@75W.

Let me know how much LB Waffle works for you, as down the road (when I run out of INW), I may resort to using it.

Will post back what works..... making about 4 different 20mls with only upping the waffle and see what works best for me.

I mixed up 250ml last night... was all I could manage to not drink it as I mixed... stuff smells AMAZING! If it tastes as good as it smells, this is a damn home run. I put it in a hot water bath and used my handheld milk frother to mix it (no bubbles or froth) and going to give it a week long steep. I'll post my thoughts when I try it.

At a week it should be ok, but after 2 weeks it should be even better!

Hello! I did finally mix it with the Sasami instead of INW. It works. It works better than LB. It’s damn good! Waffle dough is probably the closest to INW that’s out there, IMO. I picked it up from nomnomz in the UK. Go for it! LB is good, as well, but if you’re looking for the crispy iron taste that INW had, Sasami is what you’re looking for.:blowkiss:

I can send you a bit if you’d like to try it.

I loved that juice, too! This recipe finally scratched the itch. I’m thinking of adding some Cereal 27 to the next batch to get that cornflake thing going on.

Good to know, gypsy!

Has anyone tried the INW Wunder Waffle? I have not.

I am going to use it for a nutty additive. I think it has it's uses, just not as a waffle.
Yeah....I’m just getting a cardboardy taste from it. Maybe I’ll play with it some more and see if it can be tamed.

I didn't get a cardboard taste. I did get an overwhelmingly nutty presence at like 1% and I never used it over 2% IIRC.

Sounds almost similar to AP, which I always have plenty of.
Will be of no use to me then.

I don't think it's that similar to AP. It's not that kind of nutty. It is closer to FLV Peanut Butter than AP. I find an almost nondescript nut flavor there, no maple, and an ever so slight hint of waffle.

OK. I let this steep two weeks, and have been vaping it almost ADV-level for a week... This recipe is fantastic. I'm vaping it right now in fact. So good. The only thing I would maybe alter is dropping the cinnamon a bit for me, only because I vape on the warm side and the cinnamon can dominate in warmer vapes. I might experiment with that, or maybe not. Well done @Howard Hughes !!

I'm glad you liked it. I just finished up the last of a batch I made in January this morning & I gotta believe it was at it's best today! I know what ya mean with the cinnamon- it might be a bit much for some folks, I vape it at 60-70 watts & really like it, but I could see how someone might want a bit less of it. Today, after a 5-month steep though, the cinnamon was a little more tame & the butteriness(?) & sweetness had really come on.

5 months! Dude that's some patience & will power! I may have to mix a huge batch to let it sit that long!

I vape in TC and usually around 450F, the cinnamon is very present. Fortunately I like cinnamon!

Omg! This recipe! I’m gonna mix it today, in between cooking things. I might use MB Classic Belgian Waffle as a sub this time. It’s fabulous!

Let me know whichever waffle you use & what you thought of it. I will probably run out of INW next year & currently only have TFA & LB as possible replacements. Life is good on this Thanksgiving day, as I have 60 ml made up with about a 3-week steep. Happy turkey day to all! ?

I will! MB Classic Belgian really works well in other recipes I’ve done. I have high hopes!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I've been working with this recipe for well over a year & this is pretty much where it will end because I like it.
I made the mistake of letting a friend try it & now he won't leave me alone!

.25% TFA AP
.75% TFA Brown Sugar
.75 FA Butter
2.5% CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl
2% FA Custard
.75% FA Joy
2% TFA Maple Syrup
2% FA Metaphor
1% TFA Sweetener
2% TFA Vanilla Swirl
1.5% INW Waffle

Looks really great Howard. I will try to find a balance with MB Classic Belgian Waffle.
The FA Custard, is it the one with lemon taste?

Depending on how much you use, FA Custard can sometimes give off a little whisp of lemon zest. I like it in this one because it brings more of a dairy-type custard flavor to the table than CAP. They both (along with TFA & FLV) have their places though in certain recipes.
