YES, I had the same problem with two Bonza RDAs - I even tried a tiny bit of 'Loc-Tite' (blue) to the lil screw that is suppose to hold the negative post in place - DO NOT USE 'Loc-Tite', it will hold, BUT it is not conductive and will make the ohms reading of the coil crazy (also I am sure the coil will not receive the full wattage). I had a heck of a time getting all the 'Loc-Tite' out of the screw hole of the negative post!

I just took a larger handled screw driver (with a bit that fit the lil screw tight) and tightened the lil screw much as possible, while holding the top of the negative post with some small channel locks (DO NOT hold the deck! The negative post will torque in the hole on the deck and make things even worse!) - the post still moves a bit when installing a coil, but it works fine. You may have to install the new 'O-ring' from the goodies pack. Always tighten the lil screw that holds the negative post before installing new coils - and leave it tight once you have it tight, no loosening it!

The square hole, that is machined on the deck, to accept the negative post, does NOT fit the negative post snug at all - and that is the problem.

ALL RDAs should be milled, so that the negative post is actually part of the metal of the deck (one piece) - but we live in a day where companies cut the cost of making a product, just to make a buck - Vandy Vape seems to be no different. :(

Also beware - if you tighten down the screws on the clamps too much (while installing a coil), you will bend the clamps.

thank you very much for your reply bro
i did the same except the lock-tight ... at last i found the same the square hole is a hair bigger than the post leg
so tightened the screw and now it only move when i tighten the coils

You are certainly welcome, Brother. You had already figured out the problem and the fix, good deal - I do like the Bonza RDA - they are great - and with a lil tweaking from the factory they would be near perfect - but then we would have to fix the Bogan, that would take some doing - LOL!

Take care and have a goodun!

yep, mine is on the side lines because of that and the fact that I prefer post-less decks now for better single coil builds/vapes. VV screwed the pooch for bogan on this one IMO.

SEND IT TO ME, SEND IT TO ME, S...E...N... LOL! Only joking fozzy71 - but I certainly know how you feel - it is a real let down to get a product that is broken before one even gets to use it! But beside the two problems I mentioned above, it is a good RDA - I like the way the airflow works, it is rather nifty looking (especially if you like pirates, LOL!), and the drip-tips are way cool!

Anyhow, I share your disappointment, Vandy Vape should "rechew their cabbage" on this one, and Bogan should lay off so much beer, not to mention his other nasty habits, LOLx1,000!

Vandy Vape could careless about their customers. They have popular people to name a product after for sales. Their customer service is worse than horrible. Sorry to hear there is what sounds like serious problems.

I am certain that we could find many people who would say the same about any company we could name - you may very well be right about Vandy Vape, however I have no personal experience with that company (never been turned away on a warranty claim, etc.) - but we should all know that WE are partly to be blamed for "junk on the store shelf" - WE all look for a "deal" rather than quality in our purchases - I used to be a TV technician (back when Zenith made a tube driven television that would out live most people, if were serviced regularly) but today we buy "throw away products" - Note: WE buy, no product is forced upon us - I would gladly have spent another $10.00-15.00 if Vandy Vape had made sure of the fit between the negative post and the deck, and had milled a lug to hold the barrel and deck in alignment - but I may be only one in a thousand that would.

It is possible that Vandy Vape does not give a flip about any of us - but it is also a fact that we buy inferior products just because they are inexpensive. Also one more point - cheating the public out of their hard earned money is not considered a bad thing any more by many business men, it is the norm - even "Made in America" might better be read as; "Buyer Beware" - greed of the maker and seller of products today landed us in the "care less" situation, but didn't our search for a "bargain" also add to that??!

Don29palms, I do not disagree with you, I just don't know about Vandy Vape - but if the likes of Bogan could bolster sales of any product, then our society truly is to blamed far more for buying "junk" than I mentioned above LOL!

Have a good day, and maybe tell us more about your bad experiences with Vandy Vape, so we may better understand.

Exactly. Vandy new what they were doing when they collaborated with popular reviewers because it would be very easy to get VV products out to the masses and sell like hot cakes. Smart marketing on their part but a shame they were obviously more concerned with pumping out volume before making sure the products were ready for market.

I'm just happy I haven't spent money on any VV products and highly doubtful I ever do.

I'm a fan of Bogan and he's probably #2 or #3 of my favorites to watch because he thorough and entertaining in his reviews. It's a shame his name is attached to an atty that is defective from the factory.
