Well, the World has been crazy for years, so - it's not just you.. However, I agree: more specificity ;-)

Several creepy as hell new members popping up just everywhere, couple of people who aren't newbs anymore but still can't seem to lift a single finger to do anything for themselves, people testy and just looking for reasons to get pissed off, just name it and it's out there.

That's just me at work. I swear, I try and behave when I'm here.

I've learned that some can't be helped, some truly don't want to be and would rather whine, some purposely want to get under your skin and others, well, they just don't act like I want them to.

I scroll past a lot of stuff because I don't like to angry post. Or, I use the "Say it Here" thread to post my angry response. We're not expected to make sense in that thread, so it's really nice to have a venting room.

So I can’t verbally attack you and then call you more names because you didn’t take the bait...c’mon where’s your sense of humor?? That’s my personal favorite.

I don't know if this is related or not, but I am about the worst thread hijacker in history. I'm not sure why and I don't mean to be, but there it is. I need to try harder not to be. The diversity of human personality being what it is, I'm sure it aggravates some people more than others.

I honestly wasn't sure at first who or what was being referred to, but I'm pretty sure I just stumbled over one of the culprits who inspired this post.

One of them was still knocking around here earlier this morning. He's gone quiet, though, think he knows we're fed up with his shit. Now he's just lurking.

I tend to get them in much more unpleasant locales. Not fun and not fun having the cut out.

@DonBaldy years ago my youngest daughter and I were on our way home from a town about 30 miles away, driving the back roads through the country. Turned a corner and needed to turn again right away, had to slow 'way down for one of yer kin who was standing very nearly in the road on the left-hand side. Gave me the hairy eyeball, he did.

Well I was still smoking cigs at the time so my window was down a bit, and when I stopped the car, said critter came sidling over to us and proceeded to try to stick his feathery/hairy/butt ugly head right INTO my car, at which time my daughter goes to screaming, "MOM THE WINDOW!!! ROLL THE WINDOW UP!!! MOM OH MY GOD!!!"

Yep, was not an ostrich, but yer first cousin Bubba Emu, escaped from his pen where about five others of his kind were raised by some area farmer with a quirky sense of humor. But he tried to eat us, I tell you, he was a vicious ugly boil-ridden monster!

Course, once I got the window up we were all brave again, and proceeded to collapse in fits of laughter and wonderment right there in the car, as much as one CAN collapse while sitting in the car's seat. It was a moment, if you will.

Never forget it as long as I live. Needed a klonopin right quick.

I won't name names. But ya some odd and kinda annoying people as of late.

Oh hell, I'll name names. Everybody knows that no good @MyMagicMist fella goes anywhere on here and deliberately annoys anyone. He is an absolute troll, I tell you. One of these days I'll get seven buddies and talk shit about him on here in text, on the Internet even. It's all good because I know right where he lives, know for sure he's not leaving WV to come to WV to kick my ass. I done got him pegged. He's a big coward behind his keyboard.

Talk shit? Did you say talk shit? Hey, let's all talk shit! It's my favorite thing! :D

Nah, if you're gonna be as obnoxious as all that, you gotta try harder. :p

Don't mind me. I had a bitch of a day today at work. I wanted to throw stuff a couple of times. Then I got a raise. Not much of one, but I suppose it's better than nothing.

I spent 6 hours hauling the SIL around to various stops...
had to put up with all the election day (primary) drivers that only usually come out once a month, etc.

And it was a beautiful day for working on my porch/handicapped ramp project...
Now supposed to be 90+ and stormy the rest of the week...
Yeah some days life sucks and then you don't die.

As long as you’re going to post some pics of the porch/ramp that’s all that matters.

Sent from the dark side of the moon.
Will post pics after I get the ramp done.
the roof will not be on it at that time though.
The last part will be the screening.
That will be in the fall after the PT wood dries out enough to paint.
And put traction paint on the ramp.

See what happens when you get aggravated enough? People start thinking, whispers flow "hey, think we ought to give THAT one more money so we don't die?"

No, don't think I can try any harder as far as obnoxious goes. I'm alright hanging around the "you asshole bastard" level, don't ever get to the "you prick" level, although some folks m---i---g--h--t pull that out of me.

Sounds like you need six more you running around in get 'er done gear. Nothing as ambitious as a ramp build here but keeping myself out of work with the housework. Tell you being cooped in and not yours to do, makes it rough. Had to have the handy man come in to do some spackle on the dry wall, we got a few dings moving some furniture.

It was nothing for any great concern, stuff happens. Me and wife both thought we'd do it, she bought us a tub of spackle. No, had to let the handy man do it. I recall fixing up plaster of paris walls as a boy. It's more difficult than spacking drywall by far. But no, "let the handy man do it". *smh* Talk about nutting a fella.

Hm, funny how that brings on a memory of helping my Pap and uncle one Summer. We dug out a squared hole by hand (with spades obviously), skried and leveled out the bottom of it. Laid in a two in coarse of fine gravel, then a medium grade gravel, bigger grade ... this helped draw the gravel together as solidified floor while still letting it drain, breathe.

Ran a coarse of cinder block around as wall base, mortared it with the deep red clay earth we'd dug out. We dropped in bits of rebar in places, giving it a puzzle pattern of interior support. Finally hung a door with some styro-foam on the inside, set up the shelves, ... went and got grandma. If I recall correctly we had 16 coarses of block.

"Pap, you boys out here building a bunker to stay safe from the bomb," she asked when she first saw it, He told her to go on in. We didn't hear the end of that for a month. She kept on about the nice root cellar we built for her. Put all her canned stuff in it, a bin of potatoes, some onions.

I need you to go to Nitro, WV, tell them idiots to let the fund company send her the ESOP pay out. Ifn' ya gotta shake a gun at 'em fine just don't load it. Don't want anybody shot or hurt, just a'feaered like so as to get busy. *chuckles*

You're in good company. Hey, I got an idea we'll create just that, a company of thread hijackers. Oh wait never mind we're already out of business. Some ass hat come along and annoyingly hijacked that thread of an idea. They call themselves Deep Blue by the little company named ibm.
