Searched and didn't see a thread for this rta so I thought I'd make one. :)

I usually don't like dual coil rtas but recently found a dual coil I actually enjoy so I've been looking around to see what else is out there that might peak my interest. Been watching some reviews and despite the negative feedback on the looks of the rta, I like it a lot. It is rather bland in appearance but I'd hit that shit, lol.

I started out looking at the Kylin v2 but after reading through that thread I'll take a hard pass on that one. I like my mods too much to allow the Kylin to bathe my mods in e juice. So I figured I'd look into this one some more.

Anyone have interest in this?

Hmm, honestly, I haven't looked much into the mage 2019 rta. I wasn't impressed with the Mage v1 at all, but this one might surprise me. I've been looking for a good rta, I only have rdta's and rda's as of now, but I REALLY want a regular tank and just don't have one or the money to get one atm.

I hear you man. I'm a bit on the broke side right now unless I sell the small box of attys I have set aside. But that requires me to get off my lazy ass and conquer Mount Procrastination which has not yet happened...for some reason. :teehee:

Gonna have to do something soon because I'm tired of internet window shopping! My debit card is getting dusty!

Oh wow you are over due man. Nothing against the ijoy rdta, I hear they are fun. Have you entered any of the contest giveaways? I for lucky a few times and scored new attys that way.

That's how I got theCombo LOL. Great tank, but want a regular tank. I do have a baby beast that came with a T-Priv, but need the rba deck. Thought about seeing if anyone had one here.

I'm in a couple of contests, but haven't seen any for any rta's sadly

That's cool dude at least you won something.

You could post in the pay it forward forum and see if anyone has the rba deck and willing to donate.

Hmm. Never thought of that, Thank you. Maybe in the wtb in atomizers too. Two places, will pay if needed, will just have to be cheap :)

Do you have a specific kind of rta in mind? Single/dual, deck type etc?

I'm not being crazy picky. I have never used a postless deck, but will be willing to try for a good vape. I would like a single coil, but would do a dual coil if needed.

I put a post into PIF as well as a wtb in the sales thread. That way I cover all bases in trying to find this rba head.

I'll check it out. I seriously want to get some tanks. Been rocking rdta's for forever and really want regular tanks since they have comer so far in the past year or so. I can't wait to see what comes out this year.

The V2 is really good.
Yeah I've heard that too. As far as I recall the only knock on it was the post screws aren't in the right spot so the coil legs need to be twisted 90° so the coil doesn't distort when tightening the screws. Wouldn't bother me because I got used to doing that anyway with velocity posts.

I'll check both of them out. Don't think I've heard of the Lotus, but I do know Hugsvape. Thanks for the info
Glad you mentioned the Lotus. I knew someone had but didn't remember who. I'm going to check out some videos about the Lotus.
I can't imagine any dual coil RTA lover not loving the Lotus. Put whatever 2.5 or 3mm build you like in it (3.5 will work, but pretty tight) and away you go. Imho it is every bit the performer as the Kylin V2 (which is also awesome), but easier to wick and never leaks. Don't Listen to Rip Trippers. It does not leak unless you REALLY wick it wrong. It functions like an RDTA with the well in the bottom too. It hasn't left my VK530 since the day I got it a few months ago.

That is a thing with the Mage V2, but unless you go with really wide builds it's not bad. It is also sensitive to coil placement somewhat and will mute if you don't get them in the right place, but it's fabulous when you do.

I think I could build and wick my Lotus blindfolded and it would still vape great.

Ha ha no worries I won't listen to Rip because I don't watch him anyway. Dude is way too amped up for me, lol.

I've got the Xbox going right now watching YouTube reviews. Checking out Vic's review of the dawg rta so I'll watch his Lotus review next. :)

I'm not far behind you. I'll be checking out Vic's Lotus review in just a bit myself. Looks like a pretty sweet tank.

While muted, on occation I'll thumb through his vid for a close up of something since his camera work is excellent, and the best part of his reviews.

I think Vic compares Dawg and Voluna V2 in the V2 review. Not side by side per se' but comments on the differences in both. Something about wicking V2. Suggest watch that one too.

I haven't watched a rip video in ages but I love how Vic does his reviews now. He's got one camera set up for a top view and another set up with a side view so when he does the build he's got a split screen showing the build. Vic gets some really good closeups now with the two cameras.

I've seen the voluna video and I do not like the build deck at all. Same with the dawg. If I'm going for a dual coil rta it has to be postless or I know I won't like it based on previous dual cool decks I've tried. All that metal between the coils makes the heat build up in the chamber too quickly and mutes the flavor for me. I gave away the Crius 2 dual coil because all that metal killed the flavor after the first few tugs. Once that chunk of metal heated up the chamber it took forever to cool down.

I know I know, I'm a picky lil bastard. :D

Ya, I just finished Vic's review of it. Looks like a pretty wicked little tank. I think I could give some love to this one. Best part is, no little wholes for wicking channels, just drop and stuff into place.

Yep I'll be keeping my eye on this and the Mage 2019. Keeping the reload rta in the back of my mind as well.

Can't wait to see what else comes out this year. Thinking of heading to the local vape/tobacco shop tomorrow and talk to one of the guys that works there. I worked with him about three years ago and he's just gotten into vaping so I'm hoping he might have some interest in some attys I'd like to sell. As of now he's just got a dead rabbit rda to vape on. I've been wanting to make him a few coils for it but my back won't let me sit down in front of the drill long enough to have a proper build day.

I like Vic's reviews too. He's had that dual view for a while. I don't care for Dawg or Voluna 2 either. Manta has very similar posts to Voluna 2. Good tank/flavor but didn't like building it.
I have 6 attys that I use regularly. 3 RDA's and 3 RTA's. 2 RDA's have posts and the other 4 do not. Fatality is 1 of them and has posts but mounts like postless so I consider it postless.

I knew someone had the fatality but couldn't remember who. Glad you mentioned it. What do you think of it? Looks like it flows a ton of air, especially through the center of the deck. Those are some really nice aliens you have on that deck.

Remember it has dual AF control. One ring controls bottom and one for the sides. It can be turned down to really restricted if that's what you want. With those fraliens I got from @zephyr I have the bottom and side both at about 1/3 open.

The only thing about it is that you need to get some juice on the wicks before setting them in the channels like you saw, but its' no big deal at all. The juice makes your wicks stick to the back of the channel making it even easier. I do tend to trim mine just a hair longer than most of the reviews I've seen.

Another interesting thing about the Lotus is because of the well underneath the deck, when it looks like you're empty you still have another 10 or 12 hits in there. You just turn it upside down and it wicks the rest of the juice. If changing flavors it's good to keep that in mind too. Once your juice goes out of view, there's still more in the well.

For me anyway, that rta has been just a joy to have.

Even Rip, after complaining about some minor leaking, which I have not gotten a single drop, ever, had to acknowledge the great flavor from this tank.

I may have to get my hands on this tank. I really dig that build deck. It's easy to build on and that chimney is conical as all get out. That's where all that flavoris coming from. A familiar, yet innovative tank design. Hugsvape did a good job on this one.
