Apple CinnaBomb Custard v1

4.50% Vanilla Custard v2 (CAP)
3.75% Apple Pie v2 (CAP)
1.00% Butterscotch (FA)
3.75% French Vanilla Creme (TPA)
3.75% Vienna Cream (FA)
0.25% Cinnamon Red Hot (TPA)

Surprisingly enjoyable classic with a cinnamon burst.
  • Vanilla Custard v2 (CAP) - self-explanatory
  • Apple Pie v2 (CAP) - self-explanatory
  • Butterscotch (FA) - 'buttery' sweetness
  • French Vanilla Creme (TPA) - creamy vanilla
  • Vienna Cream (FA) - more cream
  • Cinnamon Red Hot (TPA) - !!!
Good after one week steep; best after two weeks. Insufficient steeping will not tame the cinnamon flavor (which tends to dominate). Comments and feedback welcome.

I dilute Cinnamon Red Hot (TPA) in PG 1:10 for better control. One drop can exceed the 0.25% spec and can ruin the recipe.

* Does not contain diacetyl, acetoin, acetylpropionyl, furfuryl alcohol, sulphites, sugars or sucralose. Per disclosures by flavor manufacturers' FAQ and/ or published test results.

Thanks for sharing this, it looks really good and along the lines of the vein I am in presently. Do you think Cinnamon Ceylon would be suitable for those looking for a more subdued cinnamon? Or maybe even a couple of drops of cinnamon danish?

Never tried those ingredients. My first experiments with Cinnamon have been disasters. I have since learned to dilute Cinnamon ingredients to 10% (1:10 PG). Start with 0.05% and work your way up. In this case, steeping does fade Cinnamon Red Hot after a week ... or my senses have been dulled by experimentation o_O

Will scoop up some red hot and have a go. The Ceylon is awesome when you need a cinnamon'ish element without it being overwhelming. The danish has cinnamon elements but gives an added buttery danish element. Good for rounding off harsh edges of some flavors and taming citrus.

this might be something I can finally use osdiy cinnamon smoothie in (small amounts). I did a SF test of the osdiy at like 12% and was afraid to ever use it any recipe but it could work here at 2 or 3% with all my RF SC subs for the main part of the recipe. if not I will sub some cinnamon roll or cinnamon toast, thanks for sharing.

No need to get new ingredients ... Cinnamon Ceylon probably has a black tea element that could be interesting. Cinnamon Danish should play well with Apple Pie (Cap). I chose Cinnamon Red Hot (TPA) since it has a candy like vibe to it.

RF SC ingredients, on average, are 400% more concentrated than TPA ... good stuff :p

1.00% Sweet Cream (CAP)

1.50% Cotton Candy (10% EM/Ethyl Maltol) (TPA)

Complex custard with an edge.
  • Vanilla Custard v2 (Cap) - base
  • Apple Pie v2 (Cap) - base
  • Butterscotch (FA) - 'buttery' sweetness
  • French Vanilla Creme (TPA) - creamy vanilla
  • Vienna Cream (FA) - more cream
  • Sweet Cream (Cap) - smooth medium cream
  • Cotton Candy (10% EM/Ethyl Maltol) (TPA) - sweetness, smoother
  • Cinnamon Red Hot (TPA) - !!! (2-3 drops max)
Vape-able after 1-hr bath + 1-hr shake + 12 hours steep. Good after one week steep; great after two weeks. This new formulation needs less steeping and seamlessly blends the rogue cinnamon ingredient into the creams. Comments and feedback welcome.
