New to vaping, started 2 weeks ago. Smoked cigs and moved on to primetime cigars to get away from cigs, and now vaping. Been 2 weeks since I last smoked, doesn't seem like much, but if you're a smoker, it's certainly an accomplishment. I got a Cascade One Plus Vape Pen and just finished a 120 ml bottle of a peach & apple flavored juice. It's a bit early, but I must say that I'm amazed that I haven't craved a primetime. I'll be vaping from now on. So much to learn and really look forward to it.

Hello and congratulations! Buy a backup kit soon and enjoy the journey.

A backup kit is a great idea.

What I would suggest is you look for a device that you think you'd like even better than the one you have.

That way if it works out you have something you like more but even if it doesn't you still have it as a backup.

Most of us have backups that we thought were going to be our primary devices when we ordered them.:)

Greetings and congrats!! woot_sign0200.gif

Yeah, always have a backup. If that thing dies, you don't want to be left vape-less. Particularly when starting out.

Lotta sales on mods, mod/atomizer kits, and etc online. Much cheaper than an actual vape store too.

Once you are vaping for a while you will have so many MOD's and setups in rotation you will be saying "Oh time to use this one for a while before the battery takes a shit". Or time to use this one because it is feeling neglected.

Thanks for the tips about having a backup device. I'm going on a bike run next month and ordered some extra coils and forgot to order a replacement glass. The local vape store has the glass but I am looking for it online to order first. The place that I ordered the gt mesh coils from has it and I will order a few from them ( I can get 3 replacements for the cost of 1 from the local shop ). Regarding the backup device, I'm looking at upgrading to the Vaporesso Polar kit and the Armour Pro kit both of which have more capabilities than my vape pen, not to mention, I don't know anything about how to use all the functions on them. I'll probably order one of them down the road as I learn more about those types of devices. I'm actually diggin this vape pen, as it's simple, push button 5 times and hit it. Being a truck driver, I'm a big fan of simplicity.

Hey boogie, welcome to VU!

It's fine to stay with what you know you like, too, you just don't want to be without a device. Don't give yourself a reason to pick up a smoke. Those first few months, well, I'm sure you know. Unforeseen things can happen, though, and usually happen at 2 am when everything is closed except the mini-mart that carries Marlboros.

Congrats on your first two weeks!
