That’s a pretty deep rabbit hole you’re flirting with, watch out. I’ve never bought premade and packaged coils...I’ve made all mine by hand (and drill, of course)..not so much as a Clapton has made its way into any of my RDA’s that I didn’t make. It can be frustrating at first, but once you find your “Ah ha!” moment when everything clicks and syncs together when making your own, you’ll never go back...consider yourself warned, but if you fall in, no worries, there’s a thread here with just as many people offering advice and help in the “Post Your Build” thread that there are here for DIY stuff.
If you do fall in, welcome to the dark side

As for mixing, I kept it simple and straight forward...didn’t feel like mixing something new and run the chance of it not working out, so, just made a Time Bomb Clone from TNT

You’re not drinking water are you? You realize that’s an ingredient in antifreeze!
Not sure if I want to get a station going or not. People in videos make it look so easy when I know it's not. Do you know of any good videos for starters about what is needed and a proper way to get set up?

I've had the same coil in my Drop Solo since early January. I've used it more than anything I have. The juice in my squonker has .5% cap super sweet. When I go to clean it is looks like hell. It comes clean tho and the flavor is still awesome. I've never used a really nice hand made coil before this. It makes me want to learn how to make my own.
Dude coil making is as time consuming as making your own recipes and juices. I make my own coils and I am finally after 50+ tries getting aliens down. I will say, fused claptons, claptons, framed staples, are all pretty simple. Aliens are tough, but the good ones I have finally made in SS316L are really awesome on flavor. I've got one in my recurve on the therion, one in my intake on an older dna250, 2 in my reload rta on my dna250c and the difference in flavor is actually quite noticeable to me. I am still not good enough to make them right every single time. But I keep going. It's frustrating as all hell.

I think I'm going to wash out bottles. I have a lot that need it. I just counted them and I have exactly a hundred 10ml bottles that need cleaning. Plus there's about fifty others of various sizes. It sucks ripping off tape (labels) and popping off tips but I'm gunna do it.
I was thinking about that conversation from the other thread Friday. I bought a dozen glass bottles from Glass Bottle Outlet on Amazon. They are awesome. No more throwing bottles out (save the trees!, the turtles!, the whole planet!) I will only use the plastics for my recipe testers and my SFT, I am thinking of having the people who buy juice from me just buy a dozen glass bottles and I'll refill them when they want juice. I feel like they are more likely to give them back to me if they have invested in them rather than me buying them hahaha.

All you need is a drill, some wire, and some swivels. Wire snips and some flat pliers that you would get in a tool kit are also must haves. It's really easy to get going, once you start to figure stuff out then you will figure out what else you might want.

Mixed up Chefsflavours Tarte Au Citron (it’s a one shot) at the suggested 20% as a reviewer used as a SnV I tried some & it’s delicious! It’s a bright lemon with a bit of pastry. It definitely taste like a commercial juice as it is sweet but very tasty. I’m enjoying it.

Good to know! I have almost given up on a lemon desert. No recipes mine or others have scratched my desire so far. I get bored to quick these days.

I have been stunned at how bad the fading is with lemon flavors. I had a perfectly acceptable lemon tart going, but when I took a break from it for a few days and then went back to it, the lemon was very nearly non-existent. I mean in like three days this happened.

Am planning to get Flavor Express lemon, as per the Gypsy's advice for a non-fading lemon, but frankly don't hold a lot of hope for it.

I have the flavor express lemon. It is non fading but I'm lacking the rest. I have a few other flavors I'm going to try with it. Like the WF Flapper pie. I have to much to do lately so it will have to wait.

You should try Nick Evans Lemon Meringue Pie recipe, it uses Flapper Pie & is very very good.
I think I get off my arse and order the chefs flavor instead. The diyvaporsupply vendor has too much stuff. It's like going to the grocery store for a loaf of bread and coming out with 10 bags of stuff. :)

I think I have all the ingredients. IDK if I gave away my remaining VT LMT.
I do have some ideas for a mix though.

That actually looks really good and I am only missing VTA English Toffee. Anyone know if this is worth getting? @wildgypsy70
It is definitely worth getting(yummy buttery toffee!)but it’s not in this recipe. Did you mean a different VT flavor?

I hear a lot about lemon flavors fading out on people. One of the things I have noticed even with strawberry that fades, etc, they do fade, but after a long steep I have noticed they come back and the flavors balance out again. Granted the flavor is not as strong, but it is not absent either. I think it is a common misconception that all fruits are S&V (personally I don't S&V anything I think it taste like crap). I feel like they go through the same process that we see with desserts and creams, the way we perceive the taste during these changes are just different. We are using the same ingredients as commercial juice makers and you don't buy a strawberry juice from the store where you crack it open and then a couple days later the strawberry is gone. Same goes for lemon.

I am just wondering if there is something that we are doing differently as DIYers or if anyone else has noticed the same as me that the lemon might fade after a few days, but after a couple weeks it comes back again, because I've noticed this on a few occasions.

No clue where the inspiration for this came from (probably because I’d yet to open my Citron Meringue (Solub)).
89ff1c67669201c821799575e36c62fd.jpg

As a simple shake and vape it does well, but I’m thinking a good steep would bring out the flavors better...we shall see, I’m running it on my Carnage RDA and Suicide King mod because for some reason, lately, a lot of my recipes have done well with mechs but not so much on an RTA or RDTA. So, I’m back to dripping for the time being.

Did y'all see an e-mail today from ecigexpress for 30% off nicotine bases? Code is NICOTINE30.

Don't think I've bought nic from them, but if you have, give a shout out and let us know how it is. Please! :)

Code is good through the end of the day today.

I bought nic years ago from ecx. It was acceptable years ago. Now, I have no idea. I rarely order from them. In fact, its been a few years. I'm waiting to order some nic salts (just to try a sample) from Wizard. However, they are out of marshmallow vanilla (Flv) and I refuse to place more than one order right now.

Edited 4/12: Fair warning. This mix has steeped overnight. I hope it isn't finished changing, because today it's pretty awful. There's a taste in it that I can't identify. If anyone planned to mix this, please don't, at least not yet.

Mixed another new one, inspired by recent TV commercial for the Orange Vanilla Coke that's recently come on the market:

Hola Co-Cola

Blood Orange (FW) 1.5%
Cola Syrup (TFA) 3.5%
Cream Soda (FW) 3%
Custard (FA) 2%
Ethyl Vanillin (TFA) 1.5%
Koolada 10% (TFA) 0.4%
Marshmallow (FA) 1.5%
Orange Mandarin (TFA) 2.1%
Sicilian Mix (FA) 2%

Total flavors 17.5%

At first taste it may need a touch more Koolada, and the Cola Syrup I think needs some time to mellow a little, but it's good! At this point, it isn't overly sweet, although granted you'd think it would be, looking at the ingredients.

This is the first time I've used the FA Sicilian Mix, and I think it must be quite tart standalone. Think it's working well here, at least for now.

Ripped a Cream Pie recipe off ELR to try out.

I’m not big on coconut, but I think it might have a place in this recipe..will try that next go-around.

When I tasted the Artery Clogging Waffles recipe @Mykreign makes, I made sure to keep a bottle of the Waffles on hand...you wouldn’t think it’s all that versatile of a flavor, but it works well with more than a few good recipes.

Mine came out to be 165ml for $14. Still good. Found TFA French Vanilla Deluxe, which BCF didn't have last time I checked. Notes on BCF's site led me to believe that FVD had been reformulated into French Vanilla Creme.

Like that NicRiver's smallest bottles are mostly 15ml instead of 10ml.

I bought mostly PUR and TFA stuff because I have all the RF, HS, FLV, stuff that I want at the moment. Except for the Jammy Berry, but they didn't have it

30ml PUR Watermelon 15ml RF Blue Raz
30ml PUR Super Sweet 15ml TFA Cantaloupoe, Honeydew 2, Dragonfruit
30ml PUR Cotton Candy 15ml HS Caramel Toffee

I also calculated wrong and did the 2x15ml as 2x30 ml in my head so really it was 165ml just like you

There seems to be a conspiracy against me ordering FA Gin or WF Flapper Pie. Dunno what it is.

Had a cart ready to check out at BCF day before yesterday that had both those flavors in it, but checkout kept telling me that "one of my flavors cannot be shipped to my location." First time I've ever seen that. I figured it was the Gin, but no. I removed several flavors and kept getting that message, which pissed me off, so I just closed the window and stewed about it for a while.

Today I got (all 15ml) Cap Funnel Cake, TFA Pomegranate Deluxe, TFA Cranberry, FW Grape Soda, NR Paradiso (coconut macaroon), NR Fuji Apple, NR Condensed Milk, and a 2 oz bottle of TFA French Vanilla Deluxe.

No FA Gin or WF Flapper Pie. Still.

Well, 17 more flavors on the way, care of Nic River. I definitely did not need them, but, what the hell. Can’t pass up a good sale!

Now, to mixing!!! Woot!

DO we know if any of those Nic River concentrates are any good? Also, I am trying to find this CAP Cinnamon Sugar flavoring I keep seeing a couple places, not at BCF or NR
