Build a separate room? Seriously?

Vaping is now leprosy?

Unbelievable.

Remember the "back room" that most video tape rental stores had? :giggle:

This will push "flavored" products out of the gas station and c-store market. People will have to got to dedicated smoke/vape shops that simply don't admit minors at all. It's not exactly optimal, but it's not the end of the world either.

If your are of age, shouldn't be an issue. Now the push for total ban, well ya...glwt.

Who the hell buys vapes in a bodega anyways??

All of which is moot. Under-agers have been getting booze, drugs and etc since forever and I doubt e-cigs would be much different.
I have an iStick and Melo2 tank a buddy took off of his 12yo son....

Laws only matter if you give a shit about them. You can't legislate parenting.

The online sales ban which will surely be wrapped up in this is what would kill the vaping industry as we know it.

I haven't stepped foot into a vape shop in 2 years

I have seen some halfway decent vape store flea market stores pop up which will shouldn't be affected.
All they have to do is put a door on the front and pay someone to sit out there and check id's.

Florida gas some decent indoor flea markets that have entire stores built in them.

No matter where I go on the street a good deal on vape gear is at least 75% more than a bad deal on the the same gear online.

Plenty of people do or they wouldn't carry juice at all

I know someone who lost their blub when they went to 7/11 and couldn't get their mango Juul pods (voluntary sweet flavor ban)

I'd be okay with what they are proposing here, I've never once attempted to purchase vape products at a convenience store. However, I don't see what it is supposed to accomplish? Is there a huge wave of convenience stores selling flavored ecigs to teenagers? I find that hard to believe. More often than not they are probably just having their of age friends make the purchases. This will just add another stop on the agenda for their friends/relatives at the local vape shop. Keeping it away from their underage eyes isn't going to work when we have this new concept called the internet that we are all addicted too.

I don't even know how they could actually implement an online ban- people would get around that in many different ways. If someone wants the products, they will get it whether it's legal or not. Just more over regulation that won't accomplish what they are trying to do. Ultimately it will put many good people out of business leaving a black market of seedy underbelly illegal shops to rake in the cash.

It never stops there though. Give an inch, they take a mile.
