I made myself some finger-less gloves so I can type out of a pair of those stretchy things from dollar tree.
Just cut where I wanted and sealed the ends with a lighter. Perfecto! Otherwise, nothing really fits me right.

Is .16 ohms to hot for pulse x mod I'm using dual coils.
Its hard to build using fused Clapton 24,24,34n80. .16ohms is 8 wraps 3.5mm inner diameter. I'll probably have to end up using one coil. With 8 wraps and 3.5mm single its .33

Edit,
Ended up going with 7 wraps 3.5mm single at .31ohms. I'm starting to pick my hair out one strained at a time until I get this right, I'll be bald very soon.

Thank you both! It was a good day. Had the day after my birthday off and had a fun day with thefamily playing cards and just hanging out. I don't get to spend allot of time with my parents and sister and her family with my work schedule and all, so I really enjoyed being able to for my birthday

So sorry you are under the weather, especially with everyone else in the house feeling bad, too. Those are rough conditions for being sick.

Hope you all are feeling better soon. Hope it isn't the flu.

I get 5 paid sick days per year but if I take more than 3..... I get written up for number 4, suspended for number 5, and possibly fired for number 6.
That's some bull there....

That's absolutely bull crap. So you get 5 paid sick days but really aren't allowed to take but 3? Is that in writing anywhere? Sounds like a visit to a labor attorney could be in order.

Union job, no visit to attorney allowed. 1 absence is considered an occurance, you may not have more than 3 occurrences in a rolling 12 months period. If I take all 5 days at once it's still 1 occurrence.
So if I need a day I take 2 or 3....or I work sick....
I'm sick at least twice per year for 2 days and 3 days....they can suck it....I just have to watch the rolling 12 mos

THAT'S a union job? Wow! Is it not a strong union? Florida is right to work correct?

It is a right to work state. No phone company union is strong anymore. Bent over a barrel and somebody's yelling yippee, woo hoo, ride em cowboy...they even got the gimp out to watch...

G'day....:coffee2:

Took Tiki to vet for a follow-up appt. this morning, went pretty well. Better than before she was on meds for sure. She's a bit low weight at 8lbs, but is still strong and feisty anyways.

She got a booster shot and they drew blood to see how her thyroid levels are. Will find out tomorrow if we need to change her dosages or not. She's annoyed and hiding under the bed ATM...poor girl.

Now, just waiting on mailman for a wireless keyboard receiver. It's for the MS Wireless MultiMedia keyboard 1.1, Model 1014 I'd picked up for fifty cents in like new condition at thrift. A solid old KB it is, a classic. :D

eBay/USPS is awesome. They managed to fit a German Shepard into a 4"x4" box! :giggle:

J/K, it's the box my wireless keyboard's receiver came in. Kinda funny though when ppl reuse old boxes. :D

I can't like this. Texas it also right to work and I am a member of the stangehands union. WE are near as strong here as in other parts of the country.

Had a nap with Tiki...she was being anxious and yow-ly, so figged it'd be good for both of us. ;)

Then...

Got the new wireless receiver hooked up, put batteries into the keyboard and
plugged 'er all in. Had the thing search and they hooked up just fine like they were brand new.

It lives!

IMG_5131.jpg

Had to consolidate mods on the desk some cuz much bigger KB, no biggie. Wireless, so no cord to knock mods over with..haha..

Such nice big readable keys for these old eyes. built-in wrist rest, and I can program it as I like too.
One button to open browser, a URL, anything. Not bad for under $10 and built like a tank. :)

Even used, it still sells for like $35-50 on amz/ebay because it's a solid 'ol classic that just works..

yup my daughter brought it home from daycare.

Just wait until she goes to elementary school. The petri dish just gets exponentially bigger.

You probably really should be home. You'll recover faster, plus you won't be spreading the crud to everyone you come into contact with. Seems like employers would be grateful for sick people staying home, guess some of them just haven't figured it out yet.

Employers will always be dumb. We'll always be slaves to the grind. (ha skid row song \,,/ )

Co-worker in the office next to mine is sick as a dog as well.

I stayed home Monday, slept about 12 hours total and felt better Tuesday. Then only sleeping 6 hours the last couple nights, it came back worse than ever.

Sleep and warm liquids, especially good for sore throat. I should be a sore throat expert - have had strep probably 35 times in my life. Thankfully it's been a while - haven't had it but once since I started vaping nearly 8 years ago.

Go home. Feel better. Say, "Yes, Mom." :p

you just jinxed yourself. Better knock on wood.

Technically I could go home without any repercussions because i'm salary, but it still looks bad in the bosses eyes.
