Started with an Ego and Stardust @18mg Strawberry Banana from ALT Smoke 8yrs ago, to becoming an Avid Vaper and owning and trading some of the Rarest Mods and Devices to now Owning a Shop here in Maui. Still rock my Provari in 18350 with my Kayfun, and run my Russian 91%, AC9, or AL1 on my NEMESIS, or Paragon.
(Silica and Mesh wick for lyfe!) Lol, nah but yeah!
Came off chewing some Copenhagen for 13yrs, from 13-26yrs old.
But really I'm here for help!! Down below, please read! MAHALO!

Just wanted to throw this out in the Deep Blue Sea for everyone to know, and maybe get some help from this community here in Vapor Joes.

Here in Hawai'i, we are facing a crisis with Flavor Ban, since the other day it has passed committee, but now it has to pass House. And the odds do not look good for our industry we love here.
Hearing is on the 21st of Feb. And the Scrap is now! If anyone wants to help out, and submit an opposal and Testimonial, it be a Blessing!

Totally sympathetic...maybe it's time to dive into DIY as the only way to vape!

Pardon me for telling people 'I told you so'. It doesn't make much sense to sell yourself into slavery (aka electing a socialist-style government), and then turn around and ask for your rights back. The ruling class will simply take your stuff and kick you back down into your hole.

When they raised the age to drink and smoke I was already passed the limit so it never affected me, but I remember having customers who were old enough but then not and their parents were buying them Beer and Smokes. Like the dipshit NYC Mayor and his 25MPH Speed limit which was supposed to save lives. More deaths the past year then the one before. But it is generating lots and lots of money from the Speed cameras.

I've been in the game along time, this Shizz is silly amongst us Vape Community. We just gotta Hui(gather) and Pu'le(pray) for our rights to choose thee safer alternative as we choose our flavors and pick our own Destiny! Hey so be it, if it kills me! At least I was choosing what I wanted,how I wanted and the flavor I wanted. These legislators and anti vape groups call themselves Americans..pfft...Breaking 1 of the Constitutions....repaste, repost, get as much to follow as possible to KILL THE BILL.
I'm from a little island, and when there's a scrap for other states I help and oppose for their rights about vaping.
As far as our Bill's, I'm really getting No Love or Feedback from Vapers, est. 9 million Vapers, and 2 Reposts, with 26 likes. If my post had boobs and booty?, thousands of likes and reposts!
Ah well, at the least I'm trying my hardest!!

I currently been making my own juice for about 7-8 years now, I'm really not worried for myself, but I recently opened a shop, and now this! "Let me crash and burn,then shoot me!"

Lol, Right! But we'd all be dead anyway, that bill if passed would be, every so many years Smoking Age would climb a few years until the statue of limitations occur which is 100years of age. So Dumb!!

I have been Brainstorming ALOT, figured a LoopHole if its does PASS, hopefully not!

But I will sell unflavored in there Nic level liquid, and gift them the Flavor the add,and aiding them the process of adding it in!?

This is a Positive Loophole!

My suggestion is to just SMASH THIS FACEBOOK PAGE WITH OPPOSALS AND TESTIMONIALS....

I live in a nanny state as well, but you can smoke certain other plants, go figure... States are addicted to the money they get from the tobacco companies. While they say they want you to quit, they lose the taxes and settlement money. With vaping they just get sales taxes and no tobacco money.

Damn, that's what they wanna do to us Hawai'i (NANNY) well dont move here because it's not looking good....SB1009 has 1 more hearing before it goes house. Then if it passes, well...a lot of people going get homeless with all the shop closing, filing bankruptcy, out of transportation, everyone that signed new leases for 3-5 year, going to violate the terms and contracts.

But FLAVORED ALCOHOL, Chew, candy, sodas and all other youth appealing products will remain on shelves.

We as adults would like to choose our fate, if flavored vapor kills us then so be it, at least we liked doing it to extend our lives a bit longer and kept us away from traditional OF CIGARETTES !

Companies are already selling what they call Flavor shots. It isn't an e-Liquid it is just the flavors. Or companies that sell the flavors but not mixed for vaping, but it is the flavor combination. Sure it is intended to be mixed by the end user but they are not selling an e-Liquid. Many different variations of the same tactic so to speak.

Hmmm...Fricken awesome! I mean I'm not going to open another shop because the cost or rent in so high..but gives me comfort that I'm not in the boat alone..Mahalo
