DIY recipes changing vg/pg ratio

Hey
I'm very New to vaping and DIY. I'm making my own juice (Following recipes). Just wondering if (or can I) change the pg/vg ratio? Say the recipe was done at 20pg/80vg if I change it to 50/50 does this affect the juice? if so how... taste? worse or better? Would I need to increase or decrease the ingredients? Also I would only be vaping juice at about 20-22 watts. Does this affect the taste of the eliquid? I'm just trying to stay off the smokes - using Aspire Zelos (nautilus tank).
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers,
Slick.

I change the VG/pg ratio all the time. I vape MTL up to 80w. Some will say more pg means more flavor but I've never noticed that.

Changing wattage will definitely change how the juice tastes. At 20w, I would try the recipe as written. If you cant taste it very well, then raise the flavor percentages.

There are a number of ejuice calculators it there. I personally use one called ejuice lab on the Google Play Store. You could put the recipe into the app, the vg/pg percentage and the nic level and it will tell you exactly how much of each ingredient to use. Awesome little app and I bought the full version. I think it was like $5. Have been using it for at least 2 years and haven't ever needed another one since
