And on Chargers...
I am still using a Trustfire 2 cell charger that I got on clearance for $7 3.5+ years ago.
I also have a couple of i2 chargers but like the Trustfire better.
The slides are smoother.

I will. Expected delivery is Friday. Of course my local usps distribution center is notorious for holding and or misrouting packages so cross my fingers. So will have to wait till then to test. Thanks for all your help everyone. I'm trying to learn and be safe at the same time. I've really done a lot of research into these things but it helps having real people to ask questions. Google doesn't know everything. Heh!

Mechs and regulated are different.
How you calculate current, etc.
But as a general rule a good 20A rated 18650 is good for about 75W per cell.
However they last longer at lower wattages.
The Mah of a cell will vary a lot from a 10A draw to a 25A draw.
The higher the current the less mah a cell will produce.
Just the nature of most batteries Li types included.
I agree with your statement , but operating batteries at or above it's max cont. rating (if that rating is not overstated) will damage or shorten it's life. I prefer firecrackers to batteries on the 4th of July...:giggle:

The harder any battery is pushed the shorter it's lifespan.
Same thing with charging a battery will last longer if charged at 1 amp vs 2 amp.
Most good batteries can be pushed above their CDR rating for brief times. But I prefer not to do it.
Unless I am using a Widowmaker atty on top of a Detonator mod of course :D

I just prefer reg TC mods. I'd rather dial in my coil than build for the mod. More power to those that want mech mods. (pun intended):giggle:

I build my coils so I can vape on a mech or a regulated with the same build.
I love my Pico Squeezes.
Not pure mech but close enuf and I have about 10 true mechs in my vapapoclypse stash.

mostly do temp control and lower wattage except for mesh sub ohm. I like to experiment with the builds. The wife say's I just like to tinker with everything, maybe she's right...

Have some TC capable mods, tried it and decided not for me.
Already went thru my tinker phase in vaping both with hardware and flavoring chasing in DIY.
Pretty much found what I like and vape it :)

I kinda got tired of trying multiple builds and such in an atty and still not liking it.

If you do not have an external charger because of lack of finances I will give you one. I have a trusted Efest luc 4 that I will give you, but you need to pay shipping. It even holds 20700's. Be safe, charging in that mod will have issues. PM me to work out details.

Ok so I been researching a lot and wonder if this is normal. On a regulated mod ohms really doesn't matter. I recently upgraded from an ego to the Vaporesso Revenger X. I'm using a Smok TFV12 big baby price tank. It uses the V8 baby coils. I have been using the T8 octupple coil. I have 2 LG Hg2 3000mah 20a batteries. Purchased from Element Vape. Its my understanding that regulated mods are mainly wired in series. So double volts but same amp same mah? Im only getting about 120 six second puffs at 75 watts. Is this normal? Or should I be ecpecting more? I guess I expected 2 3000mah batteries to provide 6000mah. With my Evod II twist 1600mah and single 1.8 ohm kanger ssocc coil I could easily get 300 or more 8 second puffs. I never counted but I know it was waaay over 120. Am I expecting to much or is this normal for a sub ohm device especially using an octuple coil. Did I get the right batteries? Or should I get a different kind? If it's normal then thats fine. Fully charged on nitecore i2 before first use. Just need to know if device or batteries are malfunctioning.
Yes, it's normal. I have the same mod and batteries.. 2 or below 9 get between 110 and 130 puffs per battery. I like to stay at . 4 because the battery life is better. Usually around 200 - 225 puffs per charge.

Ah. Thanks. Makes sense. Probably should use the quad 0.4 ohm coils run at 45 watts if thats what you mean? Instead of using the octupple 0.15 ohms that require more watts (I use 75 watts).

Got the Sony (Murato branded) VTC6s. Run at 70 watts hard ramp up. Took 7.5ish second puffs (intentionally) and got 93 puffs full charge. Batteries say 3120mah? Not 3000? Bought from illumn. They do charge and discharge at same rate. The LGs had a slightly (15 min) charging time extra for 1 of the batteries and battery meter showed one less notch for about 5 puffs each time. The LGs i ran 75 watts 6 second puffs got 120. I assume the less puffs with the vtc6s was due to 93 puffs of 1.5 seconds longer. Doesn't seem like much but probably is. Still semi-new to regulated external battery mods. Upgraded from ego pens with 1600mah and 2.2 ohm single kanger coils run at 7.5 watts (estimated using the formula conversion, because Ego pens were VV not VW) that lasted 6 hours hitting the fire button about every 40 seconds never counted "puffs" of 8 seconds (max cut off point) and bet I got 400 or 500 puffs. So I guess you'd consider me a HEAVY vaper. People say "this last me two days between charges!" Probably because they aren't hitting the fire button every 40 seconds every waking minute. That's probably why I was expecting more. But I bet if I ran the kanger coils at 7.5 watts on the Vaporesso I'd get 2 or 3 days. Haha. Just experimenting at this point. But learning a lot to. And not smoking. So. All a plus I'd say. Thanks all!!! Probably just increase nic level maybe I wont need to hit fire every 40 seconds. Used 6mg on the 0.15 octupple coils. Use 24mg on the kanger single 2.2 ohms. Maybe try 12mg on the sub ohm would satisfy my nic craving better.

More nic sounds like a plan if your hitting it that often.

Not sure if that post was meant for me but I do have a Nitecore i2 charger. I definitely appreciate the offer though. Maybe someone else can use it? Really appreciate it though. Thanks!
