Yeah man you have to keep your nic in the freezer. Next time you order, buy some 30ml glass bottles and pit your nicotine in them. Throw them all in the freezer. Keep one 30ml out for mixing. Then if you need more, you just pull out another bottle and throw a dripper cap on it after it's to room temp.

I don’t keep my Nic by itself though, does that make a difference when freezing? I keep a big bottle that already has my 80/20 mix along with the nicotine in it...that way I just have to combine the flavors I want in the bottle and I don’t have to worrying about adding my vg/pg or Nic, since I have a base liquid already premixed.

I would still disperse the pre made mix into smaller bottles. Idk exactly what you're doing but if you have a big bottle of premix and you unthaw it and open it every time you mix, you're adding moisture and air to the mix and it could be oxidizing your nic.

I’m mixing this in something that could be considered a big ass ketchup/mustard bottle
3b1bbc709c63c55c3a981320907ee9c8.jpg

That way I just combine my flavors in a 30ml bottle and use ELR to know how much base to use...like in this recipe
1a15edebee4e19e35ba0734375439802.jpg

I put all the flavors in the 30ml bottle and then I know I need to add 32.16 of my premixed base, rather than adding the vg and pg and Nic separately

I do that but not with my vg/pg/ nic .. I have been lucky, ,1recipe all day every day 2+/- years

I put 500 mls of recipe flavors = 1stainless steel water bottle (A)

When it's time mix a batch: ( roughly 2 minutes Max)
Fill my 500 ml measuring cup to 250 with vg
Add 50 ml of flavor mix concentrate (shot glass has markings)
Top off with pg(200 ml)
Hit with handheld blender for about 30seconds.=pour into stainless steel bottle "B"
Ejuice for 2+weeks at 30ml/day

Note: I don't use much nic,, and daily nic needs vary... So I never use nic in the recipes until I am actually going to use them.

The advantage of making such a big flavor batch,,, if I have to bug out /hit the road fast I know that I can take the 500ml flavor bottle (A) and be set for months,, several months. + bottle B already mixed

Fwiw ,, FA apricot blends well with INW lemon cake...(it's part of my lemon cake recipe) So then I took it another step... I took 60% my adv sugar Bean cookie added 20% of my lemon cake recipe added 4% FA Fresh Cream and topped the whole batch off with vg.. Not bad at all. I need to create a finished recipe , but this Frankenstein is working :)
I just got inw lemon cake. How much apricot do you use? I have hit a block lately with ideas.

I took my first run at a Carrot Cake flavor blind (not looking up other recipes to “borrow” from). It tastes good, but it doesn’t taste like carrot cake...it almost has a citrus flavor to it. The cloud and ambient air after exhaling has a very pungent pepper smell to it that you don’t taste when taking a hit.
e7168d0f0d733df2398a8a321186de1c.jpg

I’ve heard rumors of certain Nicotine’s having the peppery smell, so, does anyone know if this Nic is one of those that has that issue or is it one of the flavorings, maybe?

I have not found a good carrot cake flavor. They all lack on the density. The best flavor that closely resembles carrot cake is banana nut bread. I don't use it, because I can't cover up the banana taste.

@ScReWbALL I did the whiff test on my 100mg nic today then put a piece of saran wrap over the top before placing it back into the freezer. I OCD like that. Lol. It passed with flying colors. Not sure why yours is throwing off a smell like that. Then again mine is about a month old purchased and maybe an extra week from being mixed, per Nic River.
I hope yours wasn't a bad batch that you didn't know about until now. That would be a bummer. I live in the south and have read about getting nic orders during the winter since during the summer months in shipping there could be issues with heat. Makes me think heat might be a factor with yours, maybe. **Again, I'm new at this! :)

I think I’m going to go for the purnic brand @Mykreign suggested rather than this Chem Novatic brand.
Went ahead and bought a bunch of smaller glass bottles to keep a stockpile frozen.
I’m going to do like someone suggested earlier and have my 80/20 premixed and ready to go and add the nicotine separate along with the flavors.
I’m still new to this too (to the point that I throw away more juice than I vape, still). But it’s a learning process and I can’t thank this thread enough for the help I get and advice I kick myself in the ass for ignoring and end up doing it anyway.
So, I’ve got a fresh batch of nicotine (500ml jug or two of 100mg VG-based) from Nic River on the way and a new big ass liter bottle of VG and a 500ml bottle of PG coming from Bull City Flavors, along with the glass containers along with another 30 plastic 30ml bottles and 30 plastic 60ml bottles (I hate cleaning bottles and have taken to just chunking them, which I need to stop doing).
Speaking of cleaning, what’s some ways to do it that you pro’s use? I use hot water and empty them out the best I can and then put liquid soap in and shake it up (sometimes two or three times) and then keep filling and shaking until no more soap bubbles appear and leave them out to dry but STILL can smell the essence of the last juice used in them (I’m cleaning squeeze tips and caps with same ocd process). Is the previous juices smell going to hang out a bit and just not affect the next time I use that bottle or should they be free from any and all smell after cleaning?

Sounds like a good plan. I had asked Nic Rivers about which nic to purchase. They were quick to tell me they were both fine. I had seen many people prefer both, so I went with the Chem stuff. Lol. To be honest, I'm sure either one is pretty much close if they carry it, since their name rides on quality. I've had nothing but good communication with them on my three orders and now going on my fourth. Taste bud thing that we all are different. Ha!

Yes, this forum is really great. I wished I could throw out a huge virtual hug to everyone on their help! Gives us hope that humanity is still around, indeed. :)

On the bottle cleaning thing. No pro here but I've been soaking mine in the sink with my Dawn liquid, starting out with the hottest water from the faucet. I'll add a touch of lemon or lime juice in the water also to pull any smells, excess whatever out. I do the same with my cooking utensils here, like say my pressure cooker gaskets, etc. Then rinse and air dry. I have an autoclave here since I acquired one for doing nails etc in my free time in which I could use, but I don't care to pull it out just for bottles that I'll use. That's overthinking things too much there. I know if we can remember the days in which we cleaned prebuilt coils with grain alcohol to rid the smells, I'm sure that will take care of the strongest of flavors if we run into that. I haven't yet though. Everclear was what I used many moons ago, I'm sure a soak in that plus a rinse would cut through the juice. Lol :) I'm going to wait on the responses on this one as well. Great point that I just took upon myself here and had good results with....:)

Did you get caps for the glass bottles? If not, you want these.

As for cleaning bottles, I just run super hot water threw mine a few times and shake the water out. The smell will not effect the taste of another juice.

Do those work alright?

With freezing the Nic in glass bottles do I need to worry about leaving some empty space in the bottle for expansion or does it pretty well keep the same volume? I don’t want to open a freezer to a bunch of busted bottles.

We should remove all hazard warnings and let Darwinism take over...if you don’t know it’s a bad idea to blow dry your hair in the in the bathtub, you should be removed from the gene pool

I love the wind in my hair when showering. I thought that is what blowdryers were for. Also love some tunes with that as well, so I keep a vintage tube radio on the edge of the tub at all times for when I feel like singing Celine Dion at full throat.

You’re not drinking water are you? You realize that’s an ingredient in antifreeze!

lil' bit of mixing today. All of these are two flavor recipes I have been toying with. I think I might have the Black Unicorn "Mango Milk Box" nailed. Will know in 3 or four days and once verified will share.

Also felt like childish today. My labels reflect that.

Got lazy, so, just hopped on ELR and spun the wheel of “What can I make?” and I ran across someone who cloned something from our very own @Huckleberried
582c174fe6eabdd6d340bcd587d34e35.jpg

And after adapting it to the pg/vg/Nic levels I was accustomed to, I ended up with this
77e0f2af754b555b6025ddd074816079.jpg

Excellent recipe and hit just the mark I was looking for...not overly sweet, yet not blande-ish...it walks the tightrope between the two perfectly for what I was wanting. And this is just at the Shake and Vape stage...I’m betting a few days in, this will get even better (if I don’t manage to use it all before that time hits).

@SteveS45 got me thinking about Tiramisu, so since I don't have the JF flavor, I took a stab at making one from what I do have. S&V it tastes like spiced coffee with cream and sugar. Will see if the chocolate and cake wake up soon. Good, though. First tolerable use I've found for WF Brazilian Coffee.

I think you will be surprised after 4-5 days of infusion but IMO there is no such thing as a shake and vape. If I can shake the bottle and see separate bases it is not infused. If I use a mixer and heat to just under 150°F I can have an e-Liquid ready to vape in 4-5 hour but the flavors do not bloom for a couple of days at least.

Made a clone of a juice @ScReWbALL sent me called strawmalone. I'm 95% sure I nailed it.

I know for a fact it uses tfa strawberry. So I went with a watermelon of the same brand. I tried two different watermelons by TFA and came up with this.

6% tfa strawberry
6% tfa watermelon candy
2% tfa sweetener

@ScReWbALL mix this up if you can and let me know what you think.
