Brand new to vaping, having issues

Hello,

First sorry for my first post being about having a problem.

I am brand new to vaping. I bought an eLeaf "JustOne". The instructions said to charge the unit 2 1/2 hours, did that (closer to 3). I assembled the unit with the help of my sister who has experience with these. I took two draws from the unit no problem at all, nice flavor (blueberry muffin) and good draw. I set it down and about 5 minutes later pushed the button 5 times, held the button per the manual, no draw. Nothing.

All the unit does now is flash back 5 times when I push the power button 5 times. HELP!

You turned it off, press the fire button quickly 5 times to turn it back on.

A lot of people join to solve problems, so no worries

And welcome to VU

I appreciate everyone's input but it still won't work. I charged it for six hours, pressed the button five times and all it does it flash five times back at me. Maybe I just need to buy a better unit, these seem to have a myriad of issues.

Any suggestions on a more reliable unit?

Sorry your Eleaf 1 is having issues. Make sure you can see if you can return it.
Maybe eliquid leaked down into the battery? Maybe see if you can clean with paper towels .
My hubby likes the Joyetech Penguin in the SE edition- its not expensive, lightweight and an easy beginner set up.
very easy to use pod system and the Tanks and coils are not that expensive.
It vapes great and he likes the .5Ω coil.

This is an example- but check on line for the best prices. It comes with everything you need- but should buy and extra pack of coils, just in case or wait to see if you like the .25Ω or the .5Ω coil better, but you should order to make sure that you have them when you need them.
The coils last a few weeks for him
If you buy two kits- one could be charging while you use the other.

Sounds like the battery in the unit was pretty much dead to begin with. I'd return it and look into what Juicy Lucy said! She's awesome. The mod might have been on the shelf for awhile or simply had a defect. It happens! :)
