Ordered a couple clone tubes from flea bay. A fuhattan shiny metal tube, and some cheap little copper tube cuz it looked pretty. Now to wait until late next week for them to arrive.

Also threw a couple n80 aliens in my apocolypse and threw that on my drag while i charge a work days worth of batteries for my mech.

I've been messin with a buncha RBAs for my tanks. Set up a few today.
Today-
  • TFV12 RBA-T in a Cigpet ECO12
  • RBA in a TFV12 Prince
Yesterday-
  • TFV12 RBA in a Cigpet ECO12
  • RBA in a TFV8 Cloud Beast
  • RBA in a Big Baby Beast
The only one the leaked was the triple TFV12. I had the coils too short or leaned them too far to the center. My favorite is the velocity deck in the big Cigpet. It's pumping out huge clouds/great flavor with N80 staples. I want an RBA for my Mesh Pro (Shoulda just got the standard kit, mesh coils seperate. Didn't know.) But maybe I'll just get a Mage 2019. Looks just like the Mesh Pro but is a dedicated RTA. I'm just rambling now....lol

IN addition to buying the DR RTA and coils from Crazy Chef I cleaned coils and put fresh wicks in the Goon 25. Oh yeah at 3 am when I couldn't sleep I decided was a good time to polish the Vindicator, Apocalypse, and the contacts one one of the Hugo Squeezers I put back in the rotation.

how do you clean them ? I just rinse mine. idk if that is ok or wrong

I do it in phases because it never sucks any less. This is the current process.

1. Separate all the pieces
2. Drain the bottles. I have a bacon rack that these bottles thread into the squares almost perfectly. They will sit like this for a day or longer (length of time depends of dread and apathy).
3. Soak the bottles and caps in dish liquid and water.
4. Brush the bottles. I use a a boar bristle beaker brush. It has worked pretty well.
5. Rinse the bottles, tips and caps. The tips and caps just get rinsed well while placed in a strainer. The bottles get rinsed upside down with a purpose made tip. I have this piece of metal (believe it is a SS straw or some sort of steel tubing) and a rubber hose that is stepped up with joining pieces to fit over the faucet head. Shoot them a couple of times upside down to rinse the soap out. I us the last piece on the bottles only to save water.
6. Sit them upside down with a towel under them until they are dry.
7. Buy more bottles. (JK).

Its less work overall, less work at once and the weird nozzle thing I made allows me to get all of the soap out. These particular bottles (IMO) are a PITA to clean due to the small neck on them. I usually try to clean them every 10 bottles, this time it just got away from me.

  • Disassemble everything throwing each piece into a stack.

  • I dump out any leftovers. I fill the bottle half way up with warm water. Holding my finger over the opening, I shake it and then dump. I might do this twice sometimes.

  • The rinsed bottles get tossed into a plastic container with a lid. It's like a big jar. When all it bottles are in I add dish soap and hot water. I fill it up to emerse everything and cap it. I hold the bottles down with my hand to make sure they dont float (not getting the soap water inside). Now I twist the container back and forth for a short while and let it sit (Sometimes over night).

  • I rinse them all out separately. This might be overkill but first with warm. Then a second time in cold.

  • Then they are put to dry in a cake pan that was a bed of paper towels. Before I put them in there, I give the bottles a swing or trust. The inertia gets a lot of the water droplets out.

  • The caps and tips go through a similar process but they can be done much faster.

Would have continued putting it off but needed the bottles and refuse to buy more. Going to run the glass through the dishwasher.
Today is bottle cleaning day for me. I do have s***tons of bottles, but I can’t let the little bastards take over my desk. I’m up to 12 right now.....gotta thin the herd.

12? I figured you would have hundreds. Big boxes of them in the garage and attic like little gremlins that have been fed after midnight, just everywhere.

12 to wash. 100’s empty. I really do try to keep up. A weekly culling of the failures. Probably 3 dozen on my desk in various stages of testing. It feels like a lot, but maybe not?

And i washed 20 or so last week......trying to get a touch more organized. Ha. Ha.

I just sketched up a drawing of a pipe styled mechanical squonker. If I get ambitious enough, I'll model it in 3D and maybe try to build it?
This sounds intriguing......if you get ambitious enough, I would love to see it. I’ve always wanted a pipe style mod.

Me too! It'll take awhile to model it. Especially since I'm supposed to be working lol

I’ve seen some pretty sharp ones online. It just feels like it would look cool walking down the street with my pipe mod. Lol!

Yeah. Just finished washing them. I’ve learned from my own mistakes. Lol! And I need desk room. So.....yeah, discipline, I suppose. More that I know myself and that scenario you described could become a reality pretty quickly.

I spent some time hanging out and vaping with @DonBaldy. We fogged my house out ceiling to floor and had some good laughs, played with some vape stuff and he got to watch me fail epically on a Daedelus I had picked up. I really, really hate the Deadelus. All I managed to do was waste wire, prick my finger and end up with 3 inches on usable coil wire.

Got to hang out with jwill today. He hooked me up with some of his GOC and I think it will push me to DIY. Stuff is the best. Also came home with other more juice and an RDA. WE also vaped a shit ton and I got to play and drool over several mods and RTA's. It was a fantastic day.

Oh that sounds like fun! I don’t have any real life vape buddies. The ones in the shops are cloud bros that can’t stop talking about Smok. I went in One a few months ago to check it out. They had 3 relatively common RDAs and no one knew anything about them. And they were rather perplexed that a chick knew more than they did(granted, my knowledge in that department isn’t exactly extensive but I still knew waaaaaaay more than they did). A meh experience, at best.

It's been nice to hang out with him...I promise he has nothing that can be found in a normal vape shop..He has good stuff.
