It's not a series deck but large enough for huge fatty coils perfect for a series Mod

What makes a series deck, a "series" deck as opposed to other decks?

I understand series and parallel, but what makes a particular build deck that can be used on either, series or parallel? Or is that just a way of saying what it's being for at the moment? Or that it's particularly suited for one or the other?

Most all decks are in a parallel deck circuit, the series deck is in a series circuit.

Series deck with two coil at.5 would be 1.0 ohms where a regular deck with two coils at .5 would be .25 ohms
Yes, parallel deck which are most the norm you 1/2 the resistance for dual coils, series you double.

Are you guys saying that there are certain decks with the polarity setup specifically for series batteries configurations?

Yes, Modfather has an optional series deck for the Modfather RTA, the Modfather 30mm RDA is a series deck. Also the old Uwell Rafael RDA is also a series deck.

No, a series deck basically has a "dummy post" that is not directly connected to the circuit, yet made of a conductive material. One coil runs from the positive post to the dummy post, and one runs from the dummy post to the negative post. The circuit is completed by the coils from the positive > dummy > negative, effectively doubling the resistance of the single coil value, rather than halving it like on a standard deck. The coils are run in series, and because of the doubling of the resistance they are also great for use on a series mech mod. You can use 2x 0.25Ω coils and they will end up around 0.50Ω when installed on a series deck.

I had the modfather 30mm and I'm pretty sure it's a dual post. And the build is .15 final for two aliens. So did some come with a series deck and some with velocity style posts

I'll have to find my Modfather RTA, but here's a pic of the Modfather RDA. You can see the negative post milled into the deck on the left, and the positive post milled into a plate on the right side of the pic. The center dummy post is separated from the positive plate with a peek insulator.

Why do people have to show me stuff like this? Now I'm gonna want one.
