I mean the decks with the two posts with 2 terminals per post. Like rabbit ears when looking from the side.
So, when putting one coil in and placing I can easily clip the leads off, but as many people know when putting in the second one I can clip one lead with my wire clippers but the second one (the one on the bottom terminal underneath where the first coil is placed), is impossible to clip due to the deck and the above said coil being in the way.
Is there some trick I'm missing? I really would prefer not to take the first one out to clip it or clip either of them beforehand.
Also, would it be bad or cause a short if I just clipped it as best I could and left whatever left over hanging there or bent out of the way; sure not to touch any metal? Seems like a bad idea to me.
