So right outta the gate, I smell Caps VCV1(and/or Cake Batter?). And the concentrate is also pink/red tinged. I’m also gonna guess TFA Strawberry Ripe, Strawberry or Caps Sweet Strawberry....a combo probably. I’m also gonna guess Caps and/or TFA Sweet Cream and TFA CGC. Or just GC clear.

It’s mixed and steeping. I’ll report in later.....
Damn Columbo over here. What a sense of smell and taste. Lol

Thanks. I'm looking for bottles to pour eJuice in, sort of like the btlS from eJuice vendors but plastic..skinny long spout..soft plastic , and it wouldn't hurt if they were marked with measurements. Id need to be able to see thru them. Preferring from Amazon Prime /or 3rd party free shipping.

-did u see my private messages?

Um no, I don't have any PMs from you.

I didn't expect to like the Rafale as much as I do. I liked it before I found the flavor hack. After I poped the anti spit twirl out, I liked it even more. I've always wanted an RBA head styled like factory coils. The Rafale is the first I've ever seen. I look forward to trying it but these Uwell coils have been so great. I don't know when I'm going to get to it :p.

I currently am vaping on the same coil from last month. Crazy longevity out of the coil. :vino:

Yesterday I was going to fill my Rafale. So I turned the fill port open. I got distracted and came back to it. I decided to try bottom fill it instead. I squeezed my bottle pretty hard and it went right through all over my hand . I had to run to the sink saying "Duh!" lol.

I never tried bottom filling it to be honest but I have enough spills forgetting to close the fucking screw top~! While lying down watching TV you don't realize your dripping on your shirt.

Can anyone recommend any bottles from Amazon that are either clear or are marked with the ML on the outside and see through, preferably have a cap to go over the tip, and have a very long skinny tip for filling small pin tanks with DIY juice? Preferably bottles that are not too hard to squeeze to get the juice out. I don't know if the ones I had posted that I looked at woodwork. I am needing for and or 8 oz bottles. I do not want any that you need pliers to get the cap off of like the ones the FDA has people using what the bottles I've been getting from Mom and Pop's Vapor Shop. Please help! You can post links here , Thanks! Dez

I use only glass bottles, with either the cone-insert caps or droppers. No clue what other bottles Amazon may have.

I ordered some bullet bottles from nicotine river that were suggested and have a Twist top so that you can twist one way to open the flow and twist it closed I believe it's how it works. They were like $0.50 each, so I was able to get some of each size. It worked out better being able to get some of each size plus shipping.. for the same price that I would have paid for a six-pack of the bottles that would have been bigger than what I really needed at Amazon.

There is a juice from a small shop that is my absolute favorite juice, but they aren't popular enough to have people all over trying to duplicate it. Suuucks. Price is similar to the OP's situation. I think 120 is around 60 with shipping. I once asked someone here, it might've been headinclouds, and offered $50 plus sending the juice to him at my cost, all for a best attempt at duplicating it. He turned me down. :p

I've been turned down too. I got someone to make mine but it's from concentrate and I'll still have to buy/add a tiny bit of concentrate to perfect it. Does yours sell a concentrate?

You should just get into DIY and perfect one of your own. For what you will spend to get one bottle, a Liquid Barn Starter kit will cost the same for 1,400 ML's. Then after you get the hang of mixing and experimenting you find the flavors from other vendors to make something that will make you forget the commercial e-Liquid you used to love.

It's called a strawberry margarita. PM me if you're interested in knowing what it is called...I kinda don't want them to know I am interested in duping it. the problem is that it doesn't taste just like a strawberry margarita or daiquiri or whatever. It's obviously got strawberry and a margarita feel somewhat, but it's this unidentifiable (to me) mix of citrus, light strawberry and misc. I did detect, once, some Tutti Fruitti because the box it came mailed to me in had a whiff of Juicy Fruit gum, so I have a feeling that's in it.

I do DIY, but I just cant nail the recipe. Perhaps one of these days I will try again.

There are many ways to make a strawberry margarita!
Depends on how you want your filler for the the flavor...

but when you are ready, you will jump in.. the flavors are just fine! :D

I just have absolutely no room for the product kit because our apartment has only a bedroom closet.
no bathroom closet, no laundry room closet, only cabinets in the kitchen or underneath the sink which are full , Etc. You get the picture.
The only reason I am even getting by right now with all of my skincare organized is because I bought over-the-door hanging shoe organizers to put that stuff in, and have two hanging over the bathroom door & one hanging over the closet door in the bedroom.
I also have a couple of baskets that hang over the cabinet under the sink doors In the bathroom.

You don't need major space to store DIY supplies. I keep mine in a cardboard box in the basement and my flavors which are kind of getting out of control in 3 small tool boxes. So you would need room for a few liter bottles and some small flavorings. I am sure you can find 1 square foot to keep a box.

Yeah, I guess. Where would be the best cheapest place to order from? The flavor comes in a concentrate so I would just need VG and PG and I have a few bottles I bought it nicotine River and I don't need nicotine. I may get some if I can remember where someone told me I could buy a sample though.

I mainly order from Bull City Flavors. I have ordered from DIYFS, OSDIY, Nic River and Chef’s Flavors(in the UK). But 90% of the time, BCF.

Where is the best place to get an inexpensive yet complete starter kit? Is the one at liquid Barn the best 1 Under $85?

Liquid Barn is a great DIY starter kit because there is no getting some here and some there. Good Value and free shipping when you spend just enough.

I went the freestyle way when I started. @SteveS45 is probably right about the Liquid Barn kit, but I have no personal experience with it. The LB flavors are pretty damn good, though. I have the majority of them and I really like them(especially the Belgian Waffle, Vanilla Ice Cream, White Chocolate Peppermint).

Cheapest PG/VG is from amazon, because of the shipping -- they're heavy --but the smallest quantity is a quart.

I did a Google search on "do-it-yourself starter kits for vaporizer Ejuice", and came up on a kit from - liquid nicotine wholesalers website, & that comes out to be about the same price after I pick more flavors than I could with the kit from liquid Barn.. but the liquid Barn kit came with everything including some flavors, and this kit does not have any speakers. But it does come with nicotine, but that's not a big difference to me since I don't plan on needing much nicotine.

I don't understand the abbreviations beside the flavors that they list though? This kit comes with different sized syringes with blunt needles.. and 1030 ml empty bottles along with VG and PG in the same amount as liquid Barn, but it comes with a sizable bottle of nicotine and it's pretty cheap at about $25, but does not come with anything to mix in or any beekers or anything, but it does show some bottles that I guess the flavor may go in that are glass, but you pay for your flavors at $2.59/ each though, and after I did that it was the same price as the one that gives you 10 flavors at liquid Barn.
But, I am still unsure of what all I would need to mix things into, like beakers and glassware , and neither of these have a scale- not sure that I need 1 since they come with syringes.
Help?

Edit- Bull City flavors does not have any nicotine, much less any nicotine samples, that I can see to purchase.

Where did one of you say that you had bought nicotine samples at? Someplace in the United States I hope?

I have Prime shipping, so it's usually not a problem from Amazon. (Even if they don't make a free 2-day delivery.. they usually still ship it free if it's marked Prime, even if it takes a week or so for liquids.

I really need a whole kit though, and still unsure where to order a sample of nicotine from.

I am unsure if I need a scale, and I am unsure as to where to get the best kit under $70-$85.00.

I also don't understand the flavor abbreviations, and don't know how I would mix 20% of the flavor concentrate into a vg/pg juice- unless the syringe helps you figure out that amount instead of using a scale- if you are making a 60 or 120ml bottle, and have something to measure it in.
I am unsure of the best kit to get and if I need a skill and syringes or if I only need one or the other. If I need a scale, do I need syringes? And if I need syringes do I need to have glassware to measure it in? Thank you everyone!

Can't offer anything about a kit, I've never bought one; I just figured out what I needed, and bought it from the most cost-effective places. Amazon does offer PG/VG on Prime, which is why it's the cheapest way to get it -- those liquids are very heavy, but with Prime, they cost nothing to ship.

You don't need a scale; all you really NEED are 1) syringes, diff sizes: 1ml, 3ml, and 10ml;(I've bought them from both Amazon and from https://wizardlabs.us/) and 2) a good ejuice calculator, such as https://ecigvape.com/e-liquid-calculator-allows-flavors-with-nicotine-plus-pgvg-adjusting -- this one is good because it allows the most freedom with whatever way one mixes -- you can mix pre-made ejuice, or you can add to pre-made ejuice, or you can make ejuice totally from scratch.

I've never used a scale, because ejuice is LIQUID -- I don't buy 8 lbs of milk or a gallon of bacon, so why would I measure liquids with a scale? I guess if one is making tankers of ejuice, it might be a good idea to use a scale, but for small vaping quantities, it's just silly to make things so complicated -- you're measuring liquids, so use liquid measures.

A kit ASSUMES that it knows what things you will need, which is just dumb. All you need is PG/VG and some syringes and that calculator linked above. No need to make it more complicated than that.

Andria

ETA: I said nothing about nicotine because you said you didn't need it? I don't know if anyplace offers samples; I buy all my nicotine from vaperstek.org -- great prices, quantities from 120ml to full liters, in all the usual concentrations.

Check NicRiver for the starter kit. I haven't ordered one but looked at it and it seemed good. Free shipping over $50. You can pick a certain amount of flavors from many flavor companies. I'm sure LB is great too. If I were you I'd look at what they offer vs the price they charge wherever you go.

I recommend the LB DIY Starter Kit because I had every ass hat and his butt buddy on that other forum telling me to order from multiple places. But apparently none of them are any good at math and it would have cost considerably more. Since I started years ago I have never needed to buy anything more for mixing except VG/PG/Nicotine and some bottles. Of course some more flavorings to expand on my horizons.

1 of the kits I mentioned had the same flavor concentrate from several different brands. Are they really different?- like is strawberry concentral the same across different brands?
Thanks @wildgypsy70 for explaining the abbreviations for flavors?

Every flavor manufacture is different and they will require different amounts.
I never went for a kit, it's just too small for me, not economical.
I also buy direct from manufacture, but I might be in the minority.. however, it saves shipping, time and hassle.

I ordered flavor concentrate to add to something I had made for me but my dumb boyfriend left it in the mailbox all night while he was at work and didn't check it before he went to work so it said out there in the cold all night and I hope the flavor concentrate didn't get messed up.

I know some mixers store their concentrates in refrigerator, so your's should be okay.

Oh good I was worried because whenever I microwave /freezer steep my juices it really changes the flavor.

You shouldn't microwave juice ever - but freezing it is nothing. I would suggest the steeping time changes the flavor from being in the freezer, not the freezing itself.

Most store most or all of their ingredients in the freezer

So if you have flavors from different manufacturers, how would you know how much of each to put in? -if you had a recipe does it tell you which manufacturer to use for each flavor?
