This looks like such a good mod, I need something more high end that'll last so it's going on my list :)

Thanks for the offer dclopez but I'm gonna wait for their official release in June. Maybe they'll get the kinks worked out.

It's working great. The kink was the install but if you update the program first then install it works fine.

Yihi put up a pdf on how to do the update and also change the wallpaper. Just put on my first custom wallpaper, this is going to be fun

Yihi is tough on it's retailers about discounting so I would not expect much. A buddy of mine got a real good deal on a used one, I think he got it for $160. SX Mini mods do hold there value though, I sold my Q Mini for close to what I paid for it and it sold fast.

Here is my latest wallpaper:

You might find a bundle on special price. I got the G, two 25R 18650s, and a BBB tank for $230 when they launched. That deal lasted about 2 days before it went out of stock. You might find a coupon code to discount your order someplace but unlikely you'll find a sale on the G itself.

Anyone know when the Limited Edition Kevlar G class will be on sale?
I would check with varitube, they are one of Yihi's service centers in the US so they should get it.

Thanks, sent them an email. I just know it'll pop up available 2 seconds after I buy the carbon fiber model :)

Everyone should look at the terms on warranty if the Vendor is not a authorized SX vendor your warranty is no good. Something to keep in mind when shopping for high dollar equipment.

I'm fairly confident that if you have receipt at full retail that they will still honor the warranty. Otherwise we would see vendors battling with discounted pricing. imho

I agree, besides, do they have a list of authorized dealers?

help me, i am blind. how did you change the font color?
To change the font color push the joystick up for about 4 seconds. Doesn't work on the first 2 or 3 wallpapers though, those colors are fixed.

I've been looking at the as yet released Yihi SX Mini G Class. It seems like there is some interest here so I decided to start a thread where people could talk about it. It's currently up for Pre-Order at Varitube for $219 shipped:
http://www.varitube.com/Pre-Order--SXmini--G-Class--Dual-18650-200W_p_408.html

It looks pretty sharp sporting a color screen and Bluetooth adjustability. The SX Mini line has usually been solid devices. The way I understand it at present is Yihi is no longer going to release two seperate mods, the G and G+. They decided to just release one mod and call it the G Class with all the functionality of the formerly mentioned G+.

But get some liquid leakage and screen is shot!
Don't blow a lot of $$$ for a mod that is just trouble. I guarantee you, you better treat this mod with kid gloves...its very temperamental.
But really in a couple of months....junk!

How do you figure??

Happening as we speak...got some leakage from my tank, found it's way inside. So defiantly not sealed properly. For $219.00....you would expect bettwr build quality.
Don't get me wrong, I prefer sxmini mods. But they rushed to quick to join the dual mod fad before doing the proper testing on the Gclass.

Companies need to stop rushing mods, I was gonna get the g class but I don't wanna spend over $200.00 on a mod that's gonna brick out. I might just end up going with the lost vape therion

I don't think people take care of their mods, even my Alien looks okay yet I'm seeing all the paint issues!
I've not had problems with any of my mods but people have complained about them!

For one thing I will not let a leaking or prone to leaking tank near my SX Mods. I do not drip either and in the evening I wipe the top were vapor hangs on the mod . If I am going out I put my Cloud Blaster top fill tank on so I have no worries about leaking. My AP Tanks don't leak but I keep my eye on it...

I love my G class, but some of the mods in this thread make me want to sell off some of my older stuff and get a new one.

This thread isn't stale, the G-Class class is still the best overall device out there. You just reminded us. ; )
Lol I haven't had a Yihi device since my IPV 3 Li V2 a few years ago...great device but not in the same class as this beauty!

As for the chip not being juice proof...if you spill a Pepsi all over your crotch while driving down the road, will you just continue your day until it air dries, or do you try to soak up as much Pepsi as you can until you can change your pants? Now, how many times has someone handed you their mod and it is covered in juice? Everyday of my life I see that. Wipe it off before it soaks through any potential points of ingress. I have overdripped and had leaking RTA's on my launch day purchased G class, guess what, finish is still perfect (no I don't wear jewlery on my hands such as rings, etc. because of course, they will scratch a mod). A hard material will ALWAYS scratch a softer material. No rocket science or magic behind it. Keep your electronics clean and dry, as is mentioned in the instructions (ever read those???) of every electronic device ever made, including waterproof devices...there is a reason why they make that statement.

Is this improvement great? what is difference in running between one-mode and two-mode?

They only came out with the G class, no G+ was ever released if that's what you mean by one-mode and two-mode? This is a pretty old post by now. I have owned a G class since release day, use it everyday, and it is still 100% perfect, no paint chipping off, no scratches, never has missed a beat. I use it mainly in temp control but it works great for all vaping styles.

If you're referring to the Joule mode....think of joules as wattage. These mods, like all the rest these days, has 2 primary modes of operation. Variable wattage and Temp Control. In variable wattage mode watts are referred to as watts. In temp control mode (regardless of wire type used to make coils) wattage applied is referred to as joules. Other than that and a short learning curve for using the joystick, the mod is an absolute joy to use. It has a very elegant look and feel, I admit, I do take care not to wear rings and jewelry that will scratch it up, and I always set it down on a paper towel or something soft but after 2 years, it's still in brand new condition.
