Does anyone have a "chart" showing % of flavorings?

I've noticed a LOT of differences with flavors among brands and flavors between brands in terms of % needed for a good flavor.

I am wondering if anyone has any notes or a chart of some sort showing recommended percentages of specific flavors to start out with.

I've found some that are tasteless all the way up to 20% and others that are overkill at 5%.

I think some sort of chart or guidelines would be helpful.

I'm mainly into fruits..

Mango, Pear, Melons, Peach, etc

Tropical mixes, candy, sweet stuff... NO STEVIA...BLECH!!!

Flavorah, Capella, TFA, FA, Med Flower, Lorann, etc, etc

I have 11 bottles of flavoring at the moment and awaiting a shipment of 14 more flavors

THANKS!!!

This is going to be subjective but off the top of my head,

Flavorah - 1-2%
Cap - 7-8%
TFA - 7-8%
FW - 8-10%
FA - 2-4%
Lorann - 10-11%

These numbers will vary depending on the person and the flavor. These numbers are a good place to start for a single flavor. When mixing two or more flavors, drop the percentage in half or so. Also your coil and wattage play a factor. Lower wattage may need more flavor and visa versa.

Thanks, yes I realize it's subjective but left to my own thinking, i would start at 20% with everything, lol

Took me a bit to realize that too much mutes the flavor...still cant wrap my head around that concept but I have proven it myself.

I guess being a chef, I think in terms of spices, too much will be overbearing but certainly does not mute itself. I'd be cool with overbearing Mango, lol Cant seem to get enough of it, especially when it's perfectly ripe. Have tried 6 diff Mango's so far and dont like any of them.

2 or 3 flavor combo suggestions would be great too. I did notice if I combine 2 mango's, it tastes better than either of them separately.

I haven't done much with mango but I think @Hillbilly Pig is a mango lover.

I'll tag @wildgypsy70 as well because she has every flavor that ever existed :p

Only mango I really vape is this recipe. Its very good. https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/56405#mango_sticky_rice_by_shyndo

For me, it's weird. The longer I've been away from cigarettes, the less flavoring I use. I have recipes that I've started at 11% flavoring that I now use down to 4%.

My go to starting ranges:

TFA 2-3%
FA .5 -3%
Cap 3-5%
FW 5-7%

Off the top of my head, those are what I use most. When I first started mixing, those #s were a bit higher.

There was/is an online spreadsheet that has most brands and each flavor for that brand with percentage recommendations for each flavor. I cleaned my computer and lost the link though. Maybe another VU old timer will have it.

Found it. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1agXdua8bEp8MV4z1mn3qX4AXCS4P0RxQXcy2lDa7ccc/pub?gid=0

I'm a fan of TFA and FA mango, only two I use really. Kinda hard to beat mango and cream with some vanilla. I also have a tea recipe if you like tea vapes.

Tropical Tea
.5% FA mango
2% TFA mango
1.5% FA green tea
.5% FA black tea
.75% FA fresh cream
.4% INW dragonfruit
1 drop INW cactus per 10ml

Give it a few days, INW dragonfruit and cactus are violent flavors that need time to get along.

Lol! Not quite true, but..........lol! Shyndos Sticky Rice recipe is excellent. Also, ID10-T’s Mango Blossom Macaron is amazing. My go to mango is Flavorah’s. IMO, it’s the most realistic of them all.
