Looking for a great coffee. I drink Foldgers black silk daily. I was told I was tasting more of the roasting process than the beans. So I'm in search of a better bean. No grinder though there's that. Also consider I drink about 2 pots a day. I don't mind price if I can get a decent quantity.

Dean's Beans.

We tried every brand available to our 3 local stores, and then another dozen online, and Dean's is the best...

https://deansbeans.com/

We do buy it in bean form, but a grinder is like $20 at the store... They do offer several grinds, too.

Since you drink Folgers have you had the Country Roast? I love the Old school Chock Full O Nuts and 8 O'Clock coffees plus I have had the Bustileco which is good. Just like e-Liquids this is a totally Subjective thing like the Amora Intenso is great to me but some said Ehh.............

I have not tried the country roast. I'll look into it as well tomorrow when I go shopping.

Out of all the Folgers it is the smallest size of the big containers and around here they have sales all the time so I buy it when it is on sale. I make it really strong in a percolator every day. I have to have fresh perked strong coffee to start my day.

You can roast your own for cheaper than you can buy shit coffee and its easy to do with minimal materials.

When we roast our own, its done on the BBQ with a cheap stainless tumbler we picked up at marshals.. If you can make popcorn, you can roast coffee beans.

You can buy the green beans on Amazon.

I have ground my own coffee but I seriously doubt I will ever be roasting the beans.

Its really easy to do, Doesnt take long and taste a lot better.

Hope I don't get in trouble posting a link

is where I get my coffee beans and roasting/grinding equipment. Nothing beats home roasting. Period. It's not hard at all and gives the absolutely best coffee available. I use the Freshroast roaster, takes 8 minutes to roast 90 grams. For grinding I use the Baratza Encore conical burr mill. Investment in the two devices is about 350 bucks, but they should last for years. But home roasting IS a small hobby.

I alternate between these two flavors

If made properly in a French Press with just the smallest pinch of Kosher Salt added to the grounds before brewing makes a most excellent cup of coffee!

This is about the only coffee I drink... and cafe bustello on occasion.
Cafe Du Monde from Amazon at ~$5 a can and bustello from the grocery store.

I have never enjoyed instant coffee and even when I need to be out of the house early in the AM, coffee perks while I shower. Always have time for coffee it is the only way I can start my day. Stopping for a cup takes the same amount of time or more if there is a line. Just my preference.

No, it won't because years ago I was told the same thing and I will have to pass on it because I tried the exact same stuff. There is only one instant that I will drink and that is Medaglia D'Oro Espresso. I like it because you actually get the Creme on the top.

I'm a Colombian coffee drinker and Puerto Rican, where my mom use to boil the coffee grinds and run them through an old panty hose looking sock...... I have brewed esspresso in every aluminum looking Brewer made Italian and Hispanic small expresso machines.....

Once I tasted this I realized those days where over.....

I'm not asking you to switch, I'm implying this is good stuff......

Whatever floats your Boat~! I have Espresso with a machine and have made it in the Aluminum Pots also. I have Turkish Coffee that you actually boil the grinds right in the water. Have a special pot that was given to me brought back from Turkey. Surprising you say you are a Colombian Coffee drinker but drink instant Nescafe?

My wife are struggling with coffee right now. What used to taste good does not any longer ( Folgers and Maxwell House various blends). I tried those Chock full of Nuts Dark New York blend and it is very good. Probably not permant but better for now.

Yeah that is a really nice blend but expensive and hardly ever on sale.
I saw it in the store. Didn't look at the price though. Didn't want to spend too much as I just bought a grinder and bag o beans
