please advise on tank mouthpiece for cool vaping @ 6 Watts on Innokin MVP 4

Hello, I have an Innokin mvp4 that comes with a sub-ohm tank, but I do not like hot vapor and I have always just used a Kanger T3S tank that is about $6.. and when I use vapecrawler.com..a 5 pack of coils for it are about $5 also.

I am looking for a tank with a small mouthpiece, similar to what I have- which I looked it up, and it is mouth to lung-, that will hold a decent amount of without it being a sub ohm tank or being extremely expensive.

The aspire Nautilus clearomizer tank was recommended by an online store associate and a couple of other people have recommended that before, and the mouthpiece and space in the tank look good.. and the coils are not too expensive.

But the reason I want to change my tank is because, though I do get a lot of good flavor and smoke from the cheap tanks I have.. they sometimes do not last that long before developing leaks or not being readable by my vaporizer , and then I'm swapping out parts- and I do go through a coil every two days at most, and sometimes daily, using the T3S tank and 1.5 ohm coils.

I use 1.5 because the flavor is better at 6 Watts. -I am just wondering- if I get the Aspire Nautilus clearomizer tank, will I still be going through coils every day or two?
If I am, then there's really no point in changing my tank.

I asked a friend that works at a vaporizer store and never got an answer about that. He did say it would perform much better than my current tank.. and that the coils are supposed to last 2 weeks-
(but the coils I'm currently using, were supposed to last at least a week with heavy vaping, if not two weeks also, I was told by a store employee, when I started buying them and going through them faster when I changed mods).

So I didn't get a clear answer about if the coils would REALLY last longer.. and if so-why?

The coils I'm using now used to last me a lot longer than they do now from a pen- Style to the Innokin MVP 3.0, and then the MVP 3.0 Pro- and now the MVP 4.. but I don't know why it would matter since on every device I Vape around 6-8 watts.

Different manufacturers will make a difference. Different gauge wire, different burning patterns. I also use iSub tanks and those coils don't last as long, maybe 4-5 days of heavy use.

The only thing that has changed is the vaporizer, I still use the same tanks and coils.
Very frustrating because now I don't know if buying another tank- the Aspire Nautilus, with the more expensive coils.. will last any longer than what I have already.
When I had a pen Style vaporizer I was getting a couple of weeks out of the same coils that I use now and only get a day or two's use out of.
My friend that works at a vaporizer store says I should get a couple of weeks out of the coils for the Aspire Nautilus, but I am not sure why anything would change..

The Aspire Nautilus is a newer tank so the coils are way more advanced.
The BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) is a different design.

The kanger coil is a regular horizontal coil

the wick goes through the coil from side to side, the wire is a much smaller gauge and the wicking material used is silica.

Aspire Nautilus BVC coil is a vertical coil

The wick goes around the coil which is straight up and down, inside the metal casing, the wire is a larger gauge, and the wicking material used is a type of cotton.

You can see from this pics that the aspire looks like the more advanced coil of the two:

The reason I would guess for the kanger coils lasting longer in the pen style device is it could be putting out less wattage then you think.

I noticed that kanger coils didn't last as long when I switched from a pen style device to a mod too.

I think for me I was so used to the pen with little to no control over the power settings (I had an "ego twist" with some power settings) that when I got the mod I found that I liked to vape at a little higher than the pen could put out.

Just one or two watts can make a huge difference between the older style kanger coils lasting a week or a day.

prince works well for me at 40 watts
cheap chinese coils last me a couple of weeks .. about 100-150 mls

I had both a manger and a nautilus over the years.
I would rank the nautilus much higher than the kanger in flavor, vapor and durability/longevity.

Another thing to help your coils last longer is using a lower nic(if possible) and to use a lighter colored juices. The sugars in darker colored juice will gunk up the coils much faster than the lighter colored ones.

The explanation on the design differences is very helpful for you who posted the pictures and explained.

And for the person who had the same transition from a pen style to a mod using the coils I'm using, I also used my coils on a pen device before moving to a mod.. where I had the same experience of them not lasting long anymore, even though I was vaping at Very close to the same wattage.

I'm feeling much more confident now about getting a new tank and seeing a difference with how long the coils will last me.

My ADV is a little dark in color -because it is a cherry flavor and it is pretty sweet, it is OMG from Mom and Pops- they used to have the store nearby that closed down so I order online and stocked up - and it is a strawberries and cream flavor that is strong enough for me after vaping so much for so long..so that could have something to do with it too,-but I'm so hooked on that stuff I can't switch, LOL. Thanks again!
(It's so nice that everyone is so friendly when I come in only knowing about a couple of different devices and coils. I just wish there was an app for this.. because the site isn't secure and my phone keeps telling me that my information/pw's can be stolen while online..

i just ( today ) turned up a few spare tips for my prince on a wood lathe
i made them a lot longer and thinner than the standards so more like a cigarette / 510 style

about 13 - 14mm width and 25mm length seems good
im surprised they work so well
