Just a quick question, do you need more cotton than normal with staple variants? Or just staples in general?
Depends on the size of the coil and the depth-size of the juice channel or in an rda depending on the juice bed. Staples I like spreading apart a little bit not so close together to cover more surface on the cotton and also to get a faster wicking time.Just a quick question, do you need more cotton than normal with staple variants? Yeah, this is what I was trying to say.REMEMBER, Clapton coils were called SELF-WICKING before being named after guitar strings. A staple build being a variant of Claptons.
In theory the more wire in a coil the LESS wick you should need... as the increased strands of wire should increase NATURAL capillary wicking of the coil. But since we are also heating the wire, we need a bit more wicking ability to prevent DRY conditions. basically all coil types get wicked pretty much the same...single strand coil or some 10 wire work of art. I find.
