HELP ME, I'm New

I've been vaping now for just over 2 weeks. So far, successfully gone from about 30 cigs to none and it's safe to say that i think i'm more addicted to vaping! I just love it. Still trying to figure out how this is going to be a cost savings for me as i've spent nearly $700 bucks so far on vaping.

Nonetheless, aside from my obsession of wanted every flavor juice and every device, still lots to learn!

So far i have the Smok Infinix, Suorin Vagon, Breeze 2 and Nautilus AIO. Using 30 mg nic salt 30/70 PG/VG in all.

I have questions about all of them and issues with all of them, would like to combine all the good into one, but that is probably wishful thinking. Here are my questions, and would love some help and advice!

1. Smok Infinix, was loving it from the start, plain and simple not much to do, i like the warm temp of the draw and other than the horrible battery, it's actually pretty great for what it is.....until a couple of days ago. Every pod tastes burnt. I've changed it 4 times and as you know, these pods are not cheap. I let them stand an hour after filling (as i did for the first week) and first pull, burnt taste. I can't imagine what i'm doing wrong!, I'm obsessively clean about my device and stuff, it's cleaned out, not juice or gunk anywhere, read somewhere about getting airbubbles in it? Don't know, but it's gross. This is my go to cig but i gotta get rid of the burnt taste!!! input and advice would be helpful.

2. Nautilus AIO - so really wanted to love this device, feels kind of cheap and crappy, but better clips and first venture into coils (using both the NS and the regular ones - no difference to me), i prime them exactly as directed and let it sit a good 30 min, but no matter what i do, the thing spits hot crap in my mouth and always sounds gurgled. taste is average at best, and sometimes some vape, sometimes, very little. Always starts to work properly when the tank is 3 quarters empty. I also can't change the coil when it's full as juice comes out both ends? Who thought that up? Then it's all gucky in the mouth piece. Battery is good and clips are good and you can see the lights.

3. Vagon, well, my least favorite, i have to put so hard on it to get it going and have to puff like a smoke. Always have to push the pod down before i use it. it's ok at best.

4. Breeze 2 - this is the best out of the lot other than the crappy clips and the impossible site of the charge lights. I just wanted to say i like it for what it is.

i have 12 bottles of different flavors of nic salt juice and totally loving most of them and chain vaping without problem. Makes my cigs taste awful, so no desire to smoke that's the good thing.

Final question, so much about mods and sub Ohm, i don't understand most of it, but they look cool and i want one. But i don't want to buy anymore juice ~ for now at least. Read that you can't use high nic salt in one of those fancy devices, Is there something i can get that will allow me to vape at a lower watt so i can use my juice, but get some bells and whistles and a cool looking new vape? At this point, i'd like something that wouldn't fire based on battery life - constant output and something that i could set so i can get warm vape. Oh and must be MTL.

Thanks in advance of any replies.

As far as tanks, personally I’d recommend an RTA (rebuildable tank atomizer) and one suited for MTL like the kayfun lite, older tank but the 5 pawns clone is still available lots of places for cheap, great tank and easy to put a build in. Just pick up some 28 and 30 gauge stainless steel 316l or 317l and cotton, great mtl vape. Also some good mtl options out now like the berserker and savour RTA’s, dwarv mtl rta clone, doggystyle, and coppervape skyline.

I went back to cigs a couple times because of replacible coil heads, a lot are inconsistent so you get a few bad ones, run out of them and more tempted to smoke especially if you don’t live by a vape shop and they aren’t cheap.

If you want something done right do it yourself, rebuildables drop the cost significantly, when it tastes burnt after a few days you just pull out the old cotton, dry burn the gunk off the coil and pull fresh cotton through. A coil can last months, cotton up to a week and a big spool of wire is like 5$ Cotton is dirt cheap as well and you build it the way YOU like.
May sound intimidating but it’s easy once you get it, plenty of videos on YouTube.
As far as mods, there are some great single 18650 regulated mods that don’t cost a fortune like the eleaf pico and several others to be had for 30$ or less.

I can't help with all the pods because the only one I own is the Aspire Breeze 2.

As far as nic salts in something besides a pod? I wouldn't advise doing that. Way too high of a nic concentration for anything else imho. Especially at this point in your vape experience.

Not trying to contradict CactusFanaticus but 2 weeks in may be a bit too soon for rta's and rda's or any rebuildable atomizer.

You've spent a lot and I understand that but if you want a good vape mod and tank that will be satisfying enough to keep you from saying blech to vaping and going back to the stinky sticks, I would suggest something like a Wismec or Eleaf mod with a FreeMax Mesh Pro tank. Google those and any questions you have at any time someone will always be willing to help here.

Edit: Sorry for leaving this out. IF, you get the FreeMax Mesh Pro tank, the wattage range is fairly considerable so it would be wise to get a mod with a 200 watt capability. You'll probably never go that high but you'd be better off with a mod with a high wattage capability than one with not enough wattage that can't fire your coils adequately.

Example: Wismec RX200

Thanks so much! I"ve done a lot of reading since i posted and considering Aspire Zelos 50W Kit or
iTaste Kroma-A and Zenith 75W Starter Kit, they are reviewed well and seem to be great beginner mod MTL devices. Also, seems to have low wattage coils which should be good for my nic salts. Breeze 2 fires i think at 12w and these both have 1.8 ohm coils for NS. Will go to my vape store and talk to them and make sure, but that's what i'm thinking....today at least! I keep assuming my OCD with vaping will calm down, but just want it all! I got a bonus at work yesterday and all i could think about is what vape gear can i buy!!!

Really appreciate all the help and suggestions. This place rocks. Still think about cigs, but fairly certain it's in my head as i don't really want one!

Oh and by the way, DashVapes is something everyone should look at. Top notch and amazing to deal with. Not to mention you can get any juice ` nic salt or freebase in any level nic you want. Unbelievable place.
