I was told with the recurve I wud have to drip to often cause its a sqonker. Does anyone know how the Drop Solo performs? My vape shop carries the recurve and the Drop Solo.

The Recurve has a smaller juice well than the Drop Solo. I have not used the DS so don't know how good it is. The Recurve has really good flavor. I use mine to test juice and to me it is a better dripper than squonker :)

I have the Drop Solo. For RDAs I have the Gorge, Recuve, Hadaly, Asmodus C4, Entheon, Pulse X, Loop, Oumier VLS, Gasmods GR1, and I think a few others I'm not remembering.

Out of all of those I'm using my Drop Solo so that's saying a lot!

The Hadaly has stronger flavor but I don't necessarily like it more. Sometimes it's too intense and brings out only one aspect of a juice in comparison to my Solo which I feel brings out the overall flavor more.

One of the reasons I like it so much is that I can chain vape without it getting hot. The airflow is pretty airy until you drop it down. I have it set to a third to half of the last set of holes and the last hole completely open. It's a good draw at that level. Very tight RLH. The flavor at that level is awesome.

I can get a very satisfying vape with the air closed down that much and flavor wise it's really good. There's several RDAs from that list that are about the same flavor wise but I just enjoy the fact that A. I can chain vape to my hearts content B. It squonks very well/a lot before you risk leakage and C. It looks really good on my Pulse X 90w.

The other reason I like it is because I always run spaced parallel coils (they're like zero spitback Clapton's without the power drainage) and it's way easier to build on than other RDAs I have. The other ones aren't difficult if you're doing Claptons, single round wire, etc but for parallel builds the clamp systems will have a hard time grabbing onto BOTH wires successfully. It becomes a headache that I'd rather not deal with.

Omg I feel stupid. The other day I realized you can change the airflow so that the holes at the bottom are open as opposed to the side ones. I blame it on me being a lefty lol.

So yeah now I do 4 holes open on the bottom or 3 and a half or 3. Three is pretty restrictive though. My rayon can do it without browning but not sure cotton would work when it's that restrictive. It might brown prematurely around the coil. Tastes even better now though since it's hitting the coil more directly and going under it.
