Hi, i just want to warn for a possible checkout page hack at Efun.Top site during the last weekend of July.

Here is the story, i leave conclusions to you.
During the last weekend of July 2018 i was browsing Efun.Top to find some deals to buy, as i usually do.
When i putted some stuff to my cart and checked for the final price (item price + Shipping) i realized that there was a $25 discount !!!!!!! That discount was not mentioned anywhere in the site. I tried different products, i also called my friends to check it out and it was there. $25 discount per order !!! So, we decide to buy stuff. That was wonderful!!!!

BUT.... when we tried to checkout and we choose PAYPAL payment, NEW FIELDS appeared on the page, asking our CREDIT CARD"S infos for verification purpose, as it was mentioned beneath these fiels. I was stunned, i said to my friend that was NOT NORMAL process. We use PAYPAL just to not give to anyone our bank and card infos. It was so suspicious. Without filling your card's infos the process was stopping there. No way to check out. After thinking for sometime, I thought that EFUN.TOP is a big store, i will trust it. I knew by facts that these days they was making changes to warehouse location, maybe they update their systems too. So i trusted the process and entered my card's infos and ordered the items i wanted.

That was in Saturday 07/29/2018. At Monday, an email came from Efun and informed us, that during the weekend a wrong discount coupon was running and if we wanted the ordered products we had to pay the difference for the actual price or ask for a refund of what we had paid.
I decided having a refund and i mentioned the strange fact that their checkout page was asking for our CREDIT card's infos. I also asked them DIRECTLY to verify me that IT WAS NOT A HACK and it was just a SYSTEM GLITCH like the wrong coupon.

Their answer " sorry about the trouble you met . let me answer one by one ;
1,as the paypal issue. in short , that's ok , no one stole your information . "

BUT at September 10, my friend who we made the transactions together called me and told me that his card was hacked ant someone charged him 80 euros for plane tickets, after that i checked my card. I was hacked and charged too for 40 euros.
Of course we called our bank and cancelled the cards and we went to the police to press charges for any might be responsible for this.

I always use PAYPAL for my transactions the last 12 years. The only website that i FORCED to give my PERSONAL infos was Efun.Top. One month later i was hacked. When I wrote them, at September 11, and i told them the story no answer from them yet.

So this is a WARNING too. Whoever did transactions at July 29/30 2018, and at checkout page, after choosing PAYPAL was also asking for additional credit card's infos was probably hacked too. Check your card's account for unwanted charges.

Any other conclusion, i leave it to you.

I want to be fair. After that weekend 07/28-29/2018 everything returned to normal.
But during this weekend, at the checkout page, after choosing Paypal, new (unusual process) fields were appearing on the page asking for credit card's infos (number, verification code at the back, name on the card). That was the unusual and suspicious thing.
In my opinion, the fake coupon was the bate for people to order. And happened during the weekend, so most of the web tech stuff was away from duty.
I had 2 succesful orders before that, Everything was ok.
If at the checkout page, you choosed Paypal and proceed as usual then you are safe.
But if u have been asked to enter additional card infos, well... that maybe a problem.

I myself am curious on this as I may very well have purchased from them over the weekend but did not experience anything unusual (that I am aware of).

@Efun.Top

I would like to know what is happening with this as well.

A lot of us buy from you so if there was a breach please inform us so we can take appropriate measures to secure our banking info.

Thank you.
Sry for the late reply. We are not hacked. We just updated our website last month, may have some problem of making payment. But you will only be leaded to paypal site to make the payment. We will never remember your credit card information. Everyday we got more than 80 orders, and no customer complains about it. Just feel safe to order on our website. If you get problem of making payment, you could contact our customer service.

sry for the inconvenience.

Sry for the late reply. Our site never get hacked. In July that coupon is a mistake by our colleague, and the credit card information required is because of the magento and paypal API problems not because of hackers. We could promise that. And now we only lead customer to pay through paypal. And I'm sorry for your credit card fraud, but we are sure about our website safety. We got lot of orders per day, and never got a complains like this. Hope you could trust us.

I had that same thing aswell with weird boxes but i think it was a bug.
And the paypal methodes where switched up,but after sending multiple mails it has been resolved

But atm im writing a article and shooting a testimonial/facts video about the really bad customer service of @Efun.Top
We got a mail from a really known social figure that efun seriously treated bad as well a lot of mails with the same complaining
So due to efun does not repley to most we choose to make this article and videos to put everywhere so these people will not be unheard

Hi, im just saying facts and everybody can have his own conclusions. Thank you for your reply also.

I had succesful orders with your site before that incident. My best friend also. In fact he continues to make orders and his last one is on the way.
But the fact is as i mentioned above.

The only website that we FORCED to give our card data is yours. And because we was t my home that night, he did his orders from his cellphone and i did it from my laptop. He tried first to order and he told me "why they ask Credit card's data? i choose Paypal as usual" I said "maybe something with your mobile data" and i tried to make my order and then i realized the same thing. I was very suspicious and little upset because there is no meaning to use Paypal and give credit card's infos at the same time. After a lot of thought i decided to proceed the order and next day i mentioned that to our emails.

So your checkout page asks -unusual- for extra credit card infos along with paypal, both our cards have been hacked almost a month later. Thats the fact.

And also fact is that is a very strange coincidence, same day your colleague makes the WRONG $25 coupon and magento and Paypal' APIs happens to crash. But i guess that is very easy to find out by contacting Paypal and ask them if their API asking for credit card's infos if get crashed.

Thank you again for your reply

The API problem was not just on that day. It last for few days. We were adjusting the payment setting at the admin panel to optimize the payment process. But the error occur. So our IT worked on it and we have a big update in August. Just according to the IT guy and the logs of website, there was no evidence of website being attacked. So we don't know why this happened. I'm sorry to bring you this issue on our website. And since we have a update, our website should be much safer and stable than before. Hope you could continue to trust us. Sincerely apology.

Attention Members:
I have been weary of Efun.top. My PC software will NOT allow me to visit sites of question. I have been receiving error "beware" screens from them for a long time. Alarm states it is malware. So, I keep off of it. If your computer receives a message like this or gives you a option to "temporarily" have access, don't do it. Chuck is a computer guy. He pretty much said going to efun.top is a course to problems and malware.

I won't shop there again. I found a PUP and Trojan after shopping there. Be wise.

uBlock Origin catches all the bad guys or sites that will mess you up or gather info it doesn't need. You'll get a warning.
Web of Trust - Green is good, yellow is questionable and red is bad. Great for Googling for something.
HTTPS Everywhere makes sure sites you visit are secure with a notification.

After installing and rebooting your computer, try going to e.fun.top again.
Just trying to help.

Just for the record, I’ve made maybe 30 orders from eFun over the past few years, never ever had a problem. Quite the opposite, they have always provided prompt & communicative service with great prices and are one of the faster shippers of the Chinese sites.
That said, I’m aMac guy and don’t have to fiddle with malware & virus stuff.
Totally understand where you’re coming from @Ms. Trixy and that is definitely a cause for concern, but I’ve learned to take first posts like this from a New Member(s?) with a grain of salt. Could be the classic case of someone from a rival company or disgruntled ex-employee stirring up sh*t.
Sadly I have stopped coming here much anymore because of all the Spam.

@Le Furet I am quite active here. And I don't looking to create drama. This is just my experience. I have ordered from them before. But because I had to choose to temporarily allow me in. And it kept happening and I got tired of it and performed maintenance. Twice I found issues that came from there. So, I stopped going there. Thank you for your reply, Le Furet.

Oh gurrrrl... that wasn’t directed at you.. I know YOU, foolio!

And your experience is totally valid, just wanted to provide a positive flip side as a longtime shopper at eFun. ...a vendor I consider pretty well established and liked on here. Everyone has their go-to hot spots!
We’re really lucky with all the options these days.

It’s stuff like this that I was referring to, obviously an agenda going on here...

Hi and be sure I am not ex-employee or from a rival company something. I live in Greece, there is no way to work in a Chinese company!!!
I respect your scepticism but I lost money, my friend too, from this story. I noticed that in your screenshot example you shot my "like" under it.
I like everyone's comment and opinion here as a respect to their participation in this thread.

I was a happy customer of this store and pretty much i will be again after the problem has been solved. Actually i suggested the store to my friends and they became customers too. But the fact is, as i mentioned above, that the hack happened and it was my obligation to warn others who made transactions these days and experienced the same "strange boxes" when they tried to checkout with Paypal.

As un update to this thread, i am in constantly communication with them trying to identify the issue and why this happened. It was hack? It was magento and Paypal API's integration issue?

When i am sure about the source of the problem i will update again.

Hi all. I want to update this thread.

I was in communication all these days with Efun.Top team and even IT department and i am convinced now that the problem was not from their side. I already ordered and received a new mod from them. (IJOY Zenith 3, really fantastic price for this gun, i couldnt resist to make it mine :D )

So for me, feel free to trust them and continue shopping. To tell the truth they have some unbeatable prices and offers and i was really sorry when i thought that i have to delete them from my favorite sellers list.

But at the end everything went ok.

Thank you all for your opinions and thoughts and contribution to this thread.

And of course.... keep vaping ;)
